Creative application downoads Cloud is visible in applications, but does not open
Hi I tried to download and install several times and following the guidelines and troubleshooting but I met the same problem download and installation, and then, when I click on the application, nothing happens. Please help thanks!
are you using a mac and way to say that you are double clicking on an executable of adobe and the program does not open?
If so, the CC apps closed immediately after the launch
If not, explain, or attach a screenshot.

I need to update on my creative cloud but my application manager does not open. I tried in the drop down menu and all I get is the spinning wheel, indicating it to load. When I try to my Doc nothing icon it bounces then nothing happens. I am unable to access and part of the CC in the menu dropdown. So far, all my apps work fine, but I would like to make the updates before they get glitch.

Please, try the following steps, assuming it is a MAC:
(1) open the activity monitor and Force leave Adobe CEF Helper creative cloud, Adobe CPI broker & Crash Deamon if they are available.
(2) try to open it, if does not work then go to Applications > Adobe Creative cloud > right click > Get Info > click the Add > select the user to which you are connected to > give read and write access.
(3) if it works then enable the root user and the launch to date, visit this link on how to activate/sign in to the user root activation and using the user 'root' in Mac OS X
Please let me know if it's Windows, I'll send you the steps already.

First, find out if it's a problem of hydration.
Turn off moisture, rebuild and install, then launch the application. It remains only to display and clear the screen?
BTW: Be aware that configuration changes are ignored as long as hydration is activated during the generation.

I have a Macbook Pro. I upgraded 10.9.4 one downloaded the demo for creative cloud. It downloaded and installed, but does not open. I stopped and tried to reinstall. The same problem.

I came across the solution. In addition to download creative cloud, I needed to return to the site and download the trials for the programs I want to use - Photoshop and Lightroom. Once I did, I was in business. Save bad if this was done in light on the download site.

Creative Cloud Application Manager does not open
After some problems with the first CC I had to remove and reinstall. He moved back to version 7.0. After a reboot of my system, I see that creative cloud isn't the automatic opening at startup. I'm going to open Creative Cloud Application Manager to update and it does not open. The creative cloud icon bounces a few times then disappears. You can try to uninstall the creative and any product Creative Cloud cloud with uninstalling programs to
Mac HD > Applications > utilities > Adobe Installers
Then run the cleanup tool and remove any cloud creative associates

Bought a new Mac, installed Lightroom but does not open application
Whenever I try to open Lightroom it is said that it has been installed successfully, but once the page open starts I get two error messages. The first one says - "Error occurred when attempting to Modules of Chance." Then the second appears and says "internal error occurred: failed to create required folders: / Users/Overton/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Lightroom develop Presets.
Tried uninstalling and reinstalling several times and we looked on the forums and support but do not know who to turn to next. Thank you

The Lightroom inside the Application Support folder could have hurt Lightroom permissions preventing to write about it, which can cause this error.
- Navigate to the following folder: /Users/ [user name] / Library/Application Support/Adobe/Lightroom.
- Highlight the Lightroom folder and choose file > get information.
- Under sharing & authorization, make sure you have privileges to read & write. Otherwise, click on the padlock icon at the bottom right, enter your password when prompted, then click the only entrance to reading and select read & write.

I have no problem with Photoshop.
This problem can be easily fixed, it's just a typical user account permissions problem, when you are logged in as Root user, you will be having all permissions to almost all files and folders, but normal user account has all the permissions to most of the associated system files folders n, its default setting. Is that the reason for which the user account option Root is provided to turn on and off according to the user requirement. Even on Windows sound, its built-in Administrator call hidden.
Sometimes, even if the disc is to have all permissions, there will be an error, in this case, you can also try to fix permissions of drive running Applications > utilities > disk utility.
First check the permissions of the drive and then click on repair disk permissions.
But as I mentioned earlier, if possible check with Apple support once.
