  The image (it back up to an external drive as full image) and reinstall Windows XP, update, drivers and everything.  Install any plugins that you NEED to do all that you see here that the bat hurt.  If the problem no longer exists, something has gone wrong with your system from before (corrupt files or your cleaning is not as complete as you think) and if the problem persists - probably something to do with the material. In all cases, you can return to the image if you wish.

  To the extent wherever it is the registry, I must ask, * how * you have come to this conclusion?  Not that I'm defending something - I was wondering what you did to decide who is not your registry database?  (Side: I agree with you.)

  That's what * I * would call cleaning and optimization of a Windows XP machine:

  The HARD disk controller is part of the motherboard and if you want to repair it, so the entire motherboard must be replaced.

  Reinstalling the hard drive is made exactly as you did. The only option now is to try to replace the hard drive with a hard drive retail. It is the only way to determine if it is only the hard drive that has been damaged.

  The write cache and virtual memory are different. Virtual memory is an extension of the physical memory residing on the HARD disk where Windows is installed. Normally, the virtual memory is about twice the size of the current physical memory. Write cache is an exclusive setting for external hard drives only and has no effect in internal hard drives.

  In your case, please note that full 24GO of RAM will not be allocated to the program. At least 1 GB will be reserved for windows, so the rest of the programs are moved to virtual memory, which means that the HARD drive. It is not recommended to disable virtual memory because it can cause stability problems. In addition, the files are not copied directly in memory, even if they are big. Instead, the parts of the file are available and this area, including the incremental values and material, are stored in the memory. So if all of a sudden, you access an area of the file which is very far away from the previous location, it takes time as the new area, as well as differentials and material value of a few bytes is also copied to the memory.   I have a new HP Envy laptop that I have created a set of recovery on six DVD media.  These work very well, but are a pain in the end to keep pending next DVD to load.

  So I tried to make another recovery media and place it on a USB key.  Discovered, that it will not allow a second value created.

  So I then ordered and paid for a recovery of HP media.  A beautiful labeled Microsoft USB key came. Great, I thought.

  My laptop because of my fault I failed and wouldn't boot.  So I decided to use my new HP USB stick and after that go into the BIOS and disable the boot from USB stick and start secure etc as he said to it returned with an error that "this computer can not be recovered from this media!"

  I then pluged in my DVD - ROM external and used drive recovery media that I did and it worked perfectly!

  I tried the live chat with a technical person of HP and they checked the serial number and said I got what should work.  They could do a repair ticket and send the laptop.

  It makes no sense to me as I have the unit upwards and running, but I wanted to know how I could get a USB work recovery media.

  I ended up saying goodbye as they were of no help.

  My questions are:

  (3) is there a way to transfer my recovery media DVD 6 on a USB?

  (1) Delete last windows update (after that, it did not)

  (2) delete the sound driver from Device Manager and reboot (it did not)

  (3) download the driver for my lenovo model page and install it (it did not)

  (4) any uninstall Conexant audio and Dolby of my computer and re - install again (it does not), it seems that my dolby 7.6.4.9 driver version is not correct, I need the 7.5.1.1

  (5) again to uninstall everything and restart

  You can go to Control Panel / programs and features / turn Windows features on or off (in the left column).  Uncheck Internet Explorer 11, and then click OK.  This allows to uninstall it.  You can uninstall install all windows features from there.
