  I had this same problem on both machines. During his connection, this behavior began immediately after the KB980408 update has been installed. The solution I found is to ctrl + alt + delete, start taskmgr and kill the task of custom settings.   I'm doing several jobs for different types of use. For example writing and blogging, economic things etc. So I'm doing the accounts of different users (XP). But it is so complicated and doesn't seem to be possible.

  With an administrator account, I can create and delele things on the desktop for each account. With a regular account, I can't take things from the desktop. And installation of software for different accounts is very complicated.

  Is there a solution? Is this possible in Windows 7? Have thougt Microsoft on this issue?

  You should do our all the administrator. To do this, go to an account (using your administrator account), and change the type of it to the administrator.

  b. click on Change desktop icons.

  c. now, select the icons you want to display on the Desktop Icon Settings window desktop.

  (d) to change the icon image: select the icon and click on the Change icon button and select the icon image and click Ok.

  Hey everybody,

  I am preparing an existing custom library to an application for the Android version iOS. My first step was plopping the existing library in an Android application, waiting for a wobbly, but work experience. Instead, I get the error of bridge you'd get if you tried to open a custom in desktop Safari Library.

  Any ideas what I'm missing here? (And Yes, I have the entire file, not the zipped folder level).

  Also make sure you have the latest DevNet .js files. You cannot simply use the iOS store custom JavaScript file, there were many updates made to make it work on iOS, Android, and Windows.

  Yesterday, I decided to downgrade custom built desktop of my aunt from Windows 7 to Windows XP. I first check from Biostar Web site to determine if this system will be compatible with the motherboard, but unfortunately it has a missing driver... The name of the driver is chipset SMU and I'm not sure how exactly this can affect desktop if it affects him at all. Could someone please tell me if I need a driver with deference to the SMU chipset or if I could just ignore it?   Follow the steps below to set the desktop background and select the image to fit the display screen

  1. open the wallpaper by clicking on the Start button , by clicking on Control Panel, appearance and personalization, personalization, and then clicking desktop wallpaper.

  2 click on the image or color you want for your background.

  If the image you want to use is not in the list of background images to display, click the location of the image downwards arrow to view other categories, or click Browse to find the picture on your computer. When you find the image of your choice, double-click it. It will become your desktop wallpaper and appear in the list of desktop backgrounds.

  3. under how the image must be positioned, choose to have the picture fit the screen, tile, or be centered on the screen and then click OK, you can choose here to adapt to the screen.

  Hi, what makes me lose a lot of hair. I've read other threads suggested and it is similar, but I tried.

  Here's the scenario-

  I copy customer data (desktop, Documents, etc. of the payroll) to a (QNAP) mapped network drive.

  On the QNAP, I gave permission to read/write in the Margaret_Backup folder. The QNAP I have the following users-

  Admin, andrew, gerry, margaret and PCUser1

  This is the batch file that I have-

  It works fine when I double click on the actual .bat file. However when in the Task Scheduler, nothing happens. When I executed on demand via the Task Scheduler, it says it works but I don't see any signs of opening command prompt.

  I can't give permission to the mapped via the functionality of Windows network drive because it keeps wiping them. The authorization must come from the QNAP.

  Am I missing something?

• Cannot connect to Windows Home Server 2011

  I just installed a Windows Servr Home 2011.  I can not all my clients to connect to the server.  All my customers use Win 7 Home Premium.  I can see the server in the Windows Explorer to the customer (my desktop PC).  If I click on the icon of the server, I can browse shared files.  The directions tell to connect you, enter http:/// log in as a URL to the browser. When I do that, I get a 'not found' by DNS.  I tried to enter http:/// connect as URL and he did enter the web page to download the SW to administer the server.  However, the name of the executable if the server name is used must be ComputerConnector (.exe.)  If I downloaded it using the IP address, I get the file ComputerConnector (.exe.)  When I try to run it, I get an error message that says that this name has nonstandard characters.  I renamed the file to use the name of the server and got the same error.  I assume that the name of the original file is in the header.
  I also went to (network > servername) in other devices in Windows Explorer and end up downloading a file named ComputerConnector (fe80__b487_7b89_297_e93c) .exe. I get the same error as before.
  I have the dashboard 2011 WHS connector installed on my laptop and it works OK.  Given that the office has not connected, I can't configure the server to backup my office.  It is also true for my HTPC and another laptop.
  All the computers are in the same homegroup.  I ping the server with the IP address and the name of the server.

  In windows 7, in Customizing for desktop wallpaper settings, we could change the intensity of the color of the taskbar. The lowest intensity would provide a transparent taskbar. Here in windows 8, it can be done as well, but the taskbar are not as opaque from windows 7. Is it possible to change the opacity/transparency of the taskbar?

  You can change the intensity by following the steps below:

  1. Right-click on the desktop
  2. Select Customize
  3. Select the color
  4. Use the color intensity slider to adjust the intensity. You can also use the color mixer (just below the cursor) to adjust brightness.
  5. Select save changes

  I suggest you try the following steps.

  a. press the Windows key + R.
  b. type ""Control " and press OK."
  c. click on color management.
  d. click Advanced.
  f. click on Calibrate.
  g. click Next to continue.
