Dates of warranty

I just checked the warranty on my S10e, wait there about 6 months left, only to find that when it expires in 2 weeks!

Why is - this warranty does not work since the purchase, how is it so that its half expired before I even got the laptop?

Bad form of lenovo, a couple for the quality of mediocre to bad design (fan problems) construction - palmrest ran, "e" out of plastic cover on the cover of the broken lock security and now a workload problem where it doesn't load not 80% of the time because the power supply is defective and the rubber feet have fallen downstairs - very honestly the biggest bag of "manure" ive never had the displeasure of owning.

It was a problem of the dealer.

He/she's right. He was the dealer. they bought computers before you order (warranty starts when they bought) so if you buy the same device, for example three months later, you have only 9 months warranty.

You can call the lenovo support line and extend your warranty. I know it sounds bad, but it's not for lack of lenovo.

Edit: I'll try to find a solution, I'll post it here.

Edit: first call lenovo customer service can tell the issue, no doubt they will be asked to fax or email the tax receipt.

After sending to the reception, check if the warranty status updated.

I can't help you with the manufacturer's data, but security always begins with the date of purchase

Usually the Toshiba Unitdetails page www.toshiba-tro.de/unitdetails provides all the portable product info, but it seems that it s not working don't not with your serial number.

  • Expirat'n Warranty Date * changed *?

Shortly after the "Big Lenny" arrived for Christmas (my ThinkPad E420), one features the very first things I did was Mark my wall calendar, the day planner & cell phone (calendar w. alarm), ' April 21: "Of Lenny warranty expires" "

Well, today is April 16, 2013, I just logged in to extend my warranty, only to find out the date of warranty CHANGED! Said that it expired YESTERDAY, not the 21st. (in fact, it is said yesterday, it was my last day of coverage.)

Had I not written the same info on ALL my 'reminders' for this same date, I'd be more inclined to attribute it to a 'senior moment' (despite only 56)... Then ~

    (2) I have can I still buy an extended warranty (if so, how) or am I out of luck?

    Thanks in advance!

Well I do not work for Lenovo, so there is no way I can check for you on the guarantee of change the aspect of your question.

I mean it is possible that the guarantee may change, but it's usually like 3 years to 1 year (i.e. on a purchased taken Lenovo ThinkPad).

I have not seen all cases where the guarantee changed only a few days. But that doesn't mean not it can't happen, it's just that I have not seen, and so I could not comment on the possibility that.

  • Incorrect warranty period

    Hello

I bought a new Tablet HP Signature of flow on the Microsoft Store online April 1. I registered it with HP shortly after I have received. Now the audit online guaranteed HP tool says it was registered on 10 November 2014 and the warranty expires December 9, 2015.

Won't the warranty HP system or have I been sold a tablet of second hand by Microsoft / HP that someone else has already registered?

My situation was identical to yours.  When checking the warranty on HP site I found my new Tablet just receipt-of-MS-store had a date in service date as well as yours.  I called HP and has advised that the date was the date of manufacture and the HP guy said he would change that date to the date of registration for me with a start date of warranty from the date of registration.  He couldn't give me a rational answer as to why they would put the date '' made '' as the beginning of the warranty.  Maybe they didn't have not a field "date indeed" in the records.

The date is the 081105 which is the date of end of warranty in YYYYMMDD form as below.

The date "install by" should normally be 6 months before the warranty expires date.  I do not see the specifications for the expiration of the 02 cartridge, but generally it is a function of when the cartridges are installed.  It would seem that the expiry is a maximum of 25 months from the installation date, but this can be reduced if the installation occurs after installation 'by date '.  I have a Photosmart 3210 here and all the cartridges have been installed before the expiration of the warranty, so I can't say my dates how would affect the expiry of the ink.  I have a few cartridges installed with expiration date approximately one year after the date of warranty.

  • T500 warranty questions

I just bought my son, who is leaving for college in a week, a soft T500 (2055) the decision-making of Lenovo. It's a machine 'new' as defined by the decision, which means that it was never delivered to a customer.

    (1) according to the status page of the guarantee, the guarantee comes into force on 25/03/2009, instead of 8/XX/2009. Is there something I need to do to get the reset date of warranty? I would not lose the guarantee of 5 months.

    (2) can I put the guarantee for protection against accidental damage? It does not appear as an option on the web page upgrade guarantee.

    Thank you!

    (1) guarantee starts on the day it left the factory, what you see is the fact that the laptop has been delivered to the store in March. You can update the date of warranty by calling the customer service Lenovo and fax a copy of the invoice.

    (2) you can upgrade protection against accidental damage within 30 days of original purchase, so get your warranty reset and then proceed to the upgrade of the guarantee. You must call lenovo for this.

  • Add days to a Date/time stored

    Hello

Here's what I'm trying to do.

I am trying to add a field of records called #Warranty_Dump_Info.Reference # on a domain registration
called #Warranty_Dump_Info.Purchase_Date # and get a later date representing the date of expiry of a factory warranty.

#Warranty_Dump_Info.Reference # is a numeric value (30, 90, 180, etc.) that represents the number of days covered by the warranty and the #Warranty_Dump_Info.Purchase_Date # is the date/time value (example: 2009-01-01 00:00:00)

I can get the date/time format (time deleted).
    with the help of < foutput > #dateformat(Warranty_Dump_Info.Purchase_Date, "mm-dd-yyy") # < / output >

However, I can't seem to add the number of days value of #Warranty_Dump_Info.Reference # or to display
in the right format of date (time stripped).

I tried the time of #Warranty_Dump_Info.Purchase_Date # stripping and then saving them as a variable, then
always using the Functionadds on the variable, but it fails to strip the time according to the results.

Thanks in advance for your help.

    In addition, what it means when the date is displayed as follows: {ts ' 2009-01-01 00:00:00 '}
Some of my attempts to CF have resulted in this weird display "ts". You can see at the bottom of the page here: http://devo.dns2go.com/Warranty_Dump.cfm (logon as Admin, password: admin). That's where I tried to experiment and understand.

OK, now I see what you're saying...

I use CF functions in the SQL...

Here are the labour code for those who follow this thread:

    SELECT *.
    INNER JOIN Vendor_Table WARRANTY
    ON Warranty.Vendor_Num = Vendor_Table.Vendor_Num
    WHERE dateadd (would be ', Warranty_Days, Purchase_Date) > = Date)
    AND Warranty.Part_Number ='#URLDecode (URL. "PartNumber) #
    ORDER OF Part_Number, Serial_number CSA

Thank you very much for the help!

  • How to get an RMA number for a money-back guarantee?

    September 13, 2014

    Hi all

I'm trying to figure out how to get an RMA number for a warranty for my iOmega ix2 return. I checked my warranty and it's good for another year. The Lenovo Web site sent me round and round, never really getting to any kind of page which will allow me to enter my serial number and other data of warranty.

I would like to call or chat but it's Saturday, and these options do not appear to be taken over the weekend.

Someone has a direct link to the page of Lenovo/iOmega NAS support guaranteed returns?

    Thank you in advance.

    Best,

    Jeff

  • DeskJet 830 / 832C - do not print

    Hello

I just took an old deskjet 832c printer and it works no doubt, but isn't printing.   If the ink cart. is old bogus that

The color cartridge uses ink foam delivery system, you would not notice ink sloshing around that ink is maintained by the foam.  You can try to recover the cartridges by trying the following (in order):

    1. Print a test of diagnosis as shown here.  No trace of black or color would indicate that the works of electronics and cartridges require some.
    2. Run the three cleaning cycles from the Toolbox of the driver and then try the diagnostic test.  Were there improvements?
    3. If there was some improvement and then try to soak the printhead in hot water for a few minutes (set of the cartridge down to about 1 "of hot water for five minutes).  Then gently pat dry the printhead on a wet cloth several times.
    4. If there are other improvements you can repeat #3.

You can check the date of warranty cartrdige (two years from the date of production) as shown here.  Can also help to clean the contacts of the cartridge as shown here .  If the color cartridge is very old, it would be unusual for the yellow or cyan (or both) to not print.  A new cartridge would solve this problem.

  • Guarantee in the United Kingdom

I bought a new R61e yesterday with 1 year warranty, but I checked the warranty today. It ends in 2009-5-22. Is this normal? My guarantee is then 9 months instead of 12 months.

have you sold or a third party provider, implemented guarantee the day the laptop leaves the Lenovo, if you obtained from a third-party provider use your receipt to reset the date of warranty. Call Lenovo support number and tell them that you need to reset the date, by facsimile to your Bill.

  • HP Photosmart C4180 all in question a cartridge

    Hello

I need assistance with my printer.  Before changing the cartridge, my printer started printing in black and pink only.  So, I bought a combo with a #95 pack & cartridge one #98 in the pack with an end date of warranty to April 2011. I only replaced the cartridge three colors (#95) given that black was still used. When I close the door of ink cartridge, I immediately get an error "ink cartridge problem: remove and check color cartridge '. I put the old cartridge and the error disappears. I tried to clean the printer, cartridge, etc with no luck.  My OS is Windows Vista, service pack 1.  I have had no changes to the operating system at the start of this problem. Short buying new printer cartridges, I thought I would check with you that I wouldn't have to spend the extra money because the cartridge is defective.

    Thank you.

Tell them clearly that the printer works fine with another cartridge and not with this one. The question therefore with the cartridge and not the printer. So the printer warranty does not come in the picture and the fact of the guarantee of the cartridge. Ask them to replace it and if it doesn't, ask to speak to a supervisor.

  • Alone cyan little showing what cleaned print head - Pro L7680

I tried "cleaning ' my impression runs a dozen times, and each time, I see only small horizontal lines of color cyan in the appropriate boxes. There is much ink in the cartridges. The all-in-one OfficeJet Pro L 7680 use cartridges without print heads. Ink is supplied to the printheads through flexible tubes. Unless there is an easy solution, I might need to remove the printheads and dip them in hot water, but I'll need a primer on how to open the cover, then remove them.

I doubt it makes a difference, but a few months ago, I upgraded my able 5 year old PC, 64-bit Vista 32 bit to 64 bit of Windows 8 Pro. I have some problems of compatibility, but it seems to work very well

Here is a link that will provide you with instructions on how to replace and install cartridges and printheads. Before cleaning the print heads, I'd watch this document first of all it does not address the issues of print quality for your printer model. Just look at it and see if there are all the additional steps that you might have not already tried.  Pages 147-150 user manual pointed out how manually clean the print head. I would check the date of warranty on the print head before dipping as which can void the warranty on parts. If this date has passed, the soaking will be no danger as replacement would be the only other option left.

I bought this new HP never used my date of purchase on the receipt is dated 17 December 2014, that's when I bought it.

But when I run HP Support Assistant and also try online to HP Web site and run the check manually by typing in the n serial & product # no error, it displays correctly the warranty ends "2015-08-25.

I will post two screenshots that show the end date.

Can someone at HP please contact me to resolve this issue please as soon as POSSIBLE.

    Thank you in advance.

With the help of the pc since 82. First pc bought 1988. Every day I always learn new things on the computer.

    Hello:

It is a forum of consumer to consumer, not the HP technical support.

No HP responds to all the posts here on behalf of the company.

For some reason, sets HP warranty start and end date when the PC is made and it is our responsibility to have the date of warranty adjusted to end one year after that, in fact, we bought the PC.

I just went through this evolution myself having purchased a professional HP laptop at the end of February and the guarantee was to end in December.

All you have to do is submit a case and be able to analyze email an invoice or proof of purchase indicating the date of purchase of the PC.
