DBMS output tab problem

Hello

I use SQL Developer 4.0.1.14 and I noticed that I can't switch tabs in the window output-DBMS. The last open tab is always selected.

In the lower right window, it is not possible to switch between the 2 open connections to DBMS output.

My browser is automatically updated to version 3.6.7. After this update, I am not able to switch between the tabs by clicking on them. I can close any tab, I wish, but it is a major disadvantage of having to close a tab, I want to continue browsing.

If this does not work in safe mode and then disable all your extensions and then try to find out who is causing by allowing both the problem reappears.
You can use "Disable all add-ons" window the startup of Firefox to solve the issues in Safe Mode to disable all extensions.
You will need to close and restart Firefox after each change via "file > exit ' (Mac: ' Firefox > leave";) Linux: "file > exit ')

If you have many extensions then you first activate half test extensions that half the problem. Continue to divide the bad half that still has the question until you find that one is causing it.

El Capitan Finder tabs problem

Hi all

after update from my MacBook Pro to El Capitan, I have some problems with the Finder tabs (in Yosemite, it worked well!).

Every time I "close" Finder with close button (red x) I lose all open tabs. So next time Finder opens as 'default' without tabs, I opened the previous session.

I unchecked "Close windows when you exit an application" in preferences/General.

I tried it on my own system, also running El Capitan - I opened three tabs in the Finder, then clicked on the button the left most in the upper left to close. I then clicked on the icon from the Finder in my dock to reopen it, and a window with the same three tabs I had open previously. I don't know why it does not work for you. :-\

secondary tab problem: cannot click on buttons

Im running VI in sub-panels, and I have those in separate tabs.

For some reason I can't click on the buttons when the secondary is placed inside the tab - VI runs correctly.

When I place the school outside the tab, it works fine. I'm probably on a frame, which knows what to do?

Maybe I should mention that the tabs are configured on the 'content' tab and the buttons are highlighted when mousing over but I can't click anything.

OK problem solved, it was caused by sloppy programming:

I have buttons which allow to select tab (5 of them). An event for a button click sets the visibility of the page for all the tabs off, except the one selected. And here is my fault:

I just put all these nodes property incident, forcing them to run in no particular order. So that the tab in the right tab, it has caused for some reason do not work properly.

With the help of the error of the son first activate the visible page (pagevis property node) that is selected. Then do the rest invisible and finally using the property node 'value of tab control' tab on the page in the order makes it work like a charm.

Theme Builder OS6 MEDIA tab problem. Help, please

I have been looking for a solution for this problem and simply can not come good!

Is attached a picture of my problem.

I use the latest version of Theme Builder (V6) when designing for OS 6 icons specifically the Curve 9300, but others have had the same problem with the Bold 97xx... I save and export the theme on my phone, directly by the program or download and install OTA, the MEDIA TAB slider appears NOT all icons, all the other tabs as 'Downloads', 'Favorites', 'Frequent' and 'All' display icons correctly.

Someone would help me please in this regard?

The dvd on the s-video output display problem

I think I am doing something stupid, but I can't understand it. I used my T40p for many years, inclunding using the vga external display monitors and digital projectors player. For the first time, I wanted to use it to view DVDs on a TV using the s-video output capacity.

I activated the s-video and connected to the tv without problem. My office is correctly displayed on the TV. However, when I use the dvd playback software to show a dvd, the tv does not display the content. The content of the dvd shows correctly on the computer screen, but not on the TV screen. If I use the view "full screen", nothing shows up on the TV. If I show only the dvd in a window, then everything on the desktop is shown properly on tv, except the dvd window is blank. Yet once, it appears correctly on the computer screen.

I have tried various software to media, including intervideo WINDVD and Classic Media Player player. I tried PAL and NTSC discs. No difference.

I think I'm missing something obvious. Any ideas appreciated.

OK, I solved this problem myself. The solution is to use a configuration that uses ONLY the external display. Apparently if you enable the output s-video, but do not turn OFF the LCD screen, the video card only then produces the dvd on the LCD, not s-video content.

There are two ways to select the s-video output only. Go to settings-> control panel-> thinkpad configuration. In the window of thinkpad configuration, at the top left, there are five buttons to activate different display configurations. One of them is "tv only". If you click this button, the LCD of the computer stops, and the s-video output became active. Showing a dvd in this configuration using intervideo WinDVD or other programs video display shows the contents of the dvd to the TV via the s-video output screen.

The other way is to implement a model of custom view using the Director of 'presentation', which is accessible from the 'thinkpad configuration' window described above. It is available under the "view" dropdown I created a custom method called 'dvd' that automatically sets the external screen in 640 X 480 resolution. This is consistent with my standard TV ntsc resolution and avoids the need to change the display resolution before you activate the s-video output. I choose this plan using the key FnF7 is quick and easy.

Hope this is interesting to someone out there.

DBMS OUTPUT WINDOW
Using sql developer 3.2.20.09

Don't know what I clicked by accident, my output window of DBMS is screwed. I can't see its upper end. So I can't close or see/change the connection to the db. The only thing I can do with this window is to change its size, the bottom or on the side.

You can try to minimize or relocation of some other components to make the top of the pane visible dbms_output.

Otherwise, you could remove windowinglayout.xml which will reset the windows on the default values.

My problem:
When I click on the Hardware tab sometimes it displays information of sensors (of WORK) but sometimes shows service on that host to control the material not responding or is not available . I don't know why this is happening. I have over 80 ESXi hosts in this vCenter and 90% of them are in different countries (1 server in an office) and most of them have a problem with the Hardware tab. I'm sure it's based network because I have 10 knots and there is no problem because they are all in a datacenter.
Increase timeout for the ESXi host with vCenter data collection?
Any ideas that I can do about it or how to fix it later?

When it is connected directly the hardware data available in Configuration > hardware > State of health.

A disconnection / reconnection retains performance (so no, if you choose the option remove) data. If you try a disconnect, I'd start with a single host not in a HA cluster.

Not stupid at all. It is a problem of scope-resolution.

All programming languages have the scope-resolution. You are referring to a call (method, function, procedure, etc.). The system (compiler or at a time of engine performance) needs to understand exactly what you are doing reference, in order to execute this call.

In the case of PL/SQL, PL/SQL engine will use first of all the local scope - in other words, objects (procedures, functions, variables, etc.) defined in the schema, and a unit of current code.

If it fails to resolve the reference to appeal, it seems within the reach of the public.

Dbms_output.put_line () is a call reference package. So the 1st check would be local control. This package exists in the current schema? Is there a local synonym that can be used?

In case of failure, scope becomes public. Is there a public reference (synonymous in this case) that solves that?

The answer for DBMS_OUTPUT is Yes - and this public synonym refers to the package belonged to the SYS schema.

If you had a local package with the same name, or a local synonym, then that would have been used.

When you encode now SYS. Dbms_output.put_line () instead, you explicitly specify the scope to the PL/SQL engine. You say that you're referring to the DBMS_OUTPUT object belonged to the SYS schema.

Both methods have some advantages and disadvantages.

Simplistically, the implicit scope (where leave you the engine to search for the object you are referencing) offers more flexibility. Let's say you need to change the behavior of the DBMS_OUTPUT - do it for example also write output to a log file. You can create your own package DBMS_OUTPUT with the exact same interface as the SYS. DBMS_OUTPUT package. Inside of your custom package, you can write the output to a log file and then call the SYS. DBMS_OUTPUT package to do its part.

The original source code using DBMS_OUTPUT.put_line () works unchanged. Is what you have now introduced a local reference meets the criteria of the scope - and your local DBMS_OUTPUT package is now used instead.

Scope explicit can claim to be safer. That no person shall "divert" calling your code by manipulating scope of the resolution - and do the above and create a custom of DBMS_OUTPUT package. But it also makes the code much more rigid.

In general in PL/SQL - extended implicit is desirable because it provides the flexibility that is often necessary. When writing "of trust' global code that does cool stuff user and must be trusted to always do the right thing, then brought explicit should consider instead.
