Dc7600 USDT Beepcode

My DC7600 USDT is unbootable and follows beepcode;

6 beeps - flashing red 6 times 1 Hz.

The manual reads:

"On systems with integrated graphics card, check / replace the systemboard.

My question: is there something on the Board that I can 'check' rather than replace?

The replacement is expensive and hardly worth it in my opinion.

Try reseating the Ram of your computer module.

6 beeps means a problem with the memory video pre, which is the shared RAM system used by the onboard graphics in your case.

You help me by sending the right link to download the Audio drivers for Win7 on HP dc7600, dc7800?

    Thank you very much.

    Chinh_Ng.

    Hello:

For the dc7600, the best thing to do is to go to the realtek website and download and install the latest driver for the audio.

Accept the agreement. Download and install the driver either the 1st or the 2nd on the list depending on whether you have installed W7 32-bit or 64-bit.

I have a dc7800 CMT and I used the audio driver from the support page and driver and it worked perfectly for me, so I can't help you there.

I used the one on the link below.

  • What is the maximum size of HARD drive, I use in my dc7600 CMT

I use a HP dc7600 CMT, which works well after the upgrade to a Samsung 128 GB SSD Intel Pentium D 3.4 GHz, 4 GB of RAM and an AMD Radeon HD 6450. I'm under Win 8.1 Pro x 64, with the most recent upgrade and have absolutely no problem. Now, I want to add a second internal HDD and I wonder what is the maximum size that I can go to. I can't go up to 2 TB, or am I limited to a lower number? 1 TB? 500 GB? 250 GB?

Will be happy to help here, especially if he actually tried to apply in practice.

    Thanks in advance.

    Best regards

    Hello:

In theory, you'd be limited to 2 TB.

The biggest HARD drive I have ever installed in my dc7600 CMT was a 1 TB of HDD, so I can't confirm that a 2 TB drive will absolutely work.

  • EliteDesk 800 G1 USDT: usb ports do not provide enough power

We have a scanner usb requiring 500mA of power.  However, for many of our clients using HPs, the usb ports do not provide enough power to the scanner causing the application to crash.  Some customers use the HP EliteDesk 800 G1 USDT, others use HP zero client t310.  Connect the scanner to a usb hub powered solves the problem every time.

Y at - it changes, they can do for the Bus USB controllers to ensure that a particular port will be able to provide 500mA so they did not need to buy a usb powered a system hub?  Or do you have another suggestion?

    Thanks in advance.

I'm not familiar witht eh models accurate but 500MA is the output for USB 2.0 max but 3.0 can go higher have you tried usingn 3.0 ports if not you can also get a cable Hat uses the power of 2 ports.  Many systems have problems with the only Scanners USB and power supply.

  • HP elite 8000 usdt: HP elite 8000 usdt audio good DP

    Hello

strugglin for 2 days im getting my hp elite 8000 usdt pc for video and audio rendering on my Samsung smart TV.

The problem is that I have no audio on my TV through displayport to hdmi adapter adapter.

According to what ive read on the internet, I should have in Device Manager, under SOUND, VIDEO and GAME CONTROLLERS:

    Intel display Audio

Realtek audio driver my pc just poster.

I mention that ive installed all the drivers from the hp driver support page, ive updated video driver support page intel and still no luck...

My question is: is hp 8000 usdt displayport makes audio + video, or simply video?

If displayport does not sound, what options should I, to get audio from the pc to my Samsung TV

    Thank you.

    Hello:

You can't get the audio of the view port in the dc7900 and 8000 Elite models.

The only suggestion I can offer is to try a green audio adaptor cable clear output to PC jack, if your PC has the RCA Red and white stereo, made entry.

    Something like that...

  • problems with ati radeon x 600 in dc7600

    Hi-
Newbie here... I just installed a X 600/256 MB card pcie ATI Radeon in the HP dc7600 SFF and getting white 4-5 screen when starting with Windows XP.

She also stopped twice in the past two weeks as the card has been installed. No problem with integrated graphics.

My question is: I have loaded which, in my view, are the correct drivers from this site and the AMD/ATI site. Could someone please tell me / link me to drivers. Some do not list even the X 600 just X 550 / X 1050. No use gamming or heavy on this machine. ¿¿Would I better too just stick with the integrated graphics card?

    Hello

I suggest to remove the card, reinstall the drivers for the integrated graphics card and using the onboard graphics for a week as a test.

If the white screen start and stops disappear then you have found the culprit.

If you do not need higher resolution graphics, you are definitely better with the embedded video solution. I suggest using the original drivers.

What dc7600 do you have? (CMT, SFF, or ultra-Slim form factor are the three versions)

  • Memory of dc7600 SFF

Hello. This is what I am trying to accomplish. Got a renovated DC7600 SFF, equipped with a Pentium D 945 processor. He got 4 sticks of 512 MB installed between 4 banks (all PC2-5300). I would use 2 sticks in another pc running the same memory and replace my empty banks with 2 sticks of 1 GB each (PC2-5300), in order to have a total of 3 GB. It should work ok, I think, but I wanted to doublecheck. Any suggestions? Should I put the 1 GB sticks in 1 and 3 banks, or banks of 2 and 4?

    Hello:

    It does not matter.

But most of the people would put the sticks of 1 GB but in banks 1 and 3.

And Yes, it should work perfectly.

  • The dc7600 fan not slowed down speed

I'm new here but I have no news for the repair of computers, a problem which therefore left me speechless!

A customer brought me a Hp DC7600 SFF desktop computer and said that the thing is so loud it doen't want to use it.

    Card"Pentium 4 3.00 Ghz

    2 GB DDR2 533 memory

    320 GB HD

    Win 7

I lit and was swept away, this thing is so strong that you does not think!

I disconnected the chassis fan that he calmed down some but the CPU fan turns at 5400 RPM all the time, I can't get the fans to slow down! I tried to use the program Speedfan, it was a joke.

I am at a loss for what to do and wondering if something on the Board that controls the speed of the fan go haywire. I also upgraded to the latest BIOS and that did nothing.

When the computer starts, it seems frankly a small liquidation aircraft prepares for take-off!

What to do, what to do? ANY suggestions would be most appreciated.

Thank you for your comments/ideas and suggestions. I would recommend he get a newer system because I think it's history! We have done everything that we can and it's time to throw in the towel! Thank you so much!

    Hello:

    I have a dc7600 CMT initially provided with the P4 640 processor. I installed the Pentium D 945 sSpec SL9QQ.

Works very well and I can definitely see an improvement in performance. I also installed Windows 7 on it, and the side of processor rose in the KPI Windows (WEI).  I don't remember how, but since you can get one of these processors for less than $40 USD, you can as well max out.

You will need to have BIOS version 1.56 A or newer to install a PD 945. If you only have the version installed, you can as well Flash to the latest version.

NOT FLASH the BIOS if you run Windows 7. You have to have XP or Vista on your PC to use the windows based flash or you can make your PC unusable.

Follow other precautions to take if you need to Flash your BIOS.

  • update BIOS dc7600 with windows 8

I'll upgrade my p4 640 a pd950. I see on the forum that I need to upgrade the bios...

I'm in Windows 8. is this possible?

    Hello:

It is only possible if you use the flash BACK based, based on flash not the Windows.

If you download and run the flash file, the first thing you will see is a page of instructions.

Use one of the service methods flash BACKS.

You cannot Flash the BIOS using the Windows based flash when you run W7 or newer operating systems on the dc7600

  • DC 7600 SFF: Upgrading of power on my HP DC7600 SFF

Hi, I have a DC 7600 Small Form Factor desktop computer and it comes with a power supply of 240 watts. I want to put a x 16 PCI express graphics card and that is why I want to upgrade the PSU for probably a higher with about 400-450 watts. Can someone please guide me which would correspond to what kind of power supply in this case of machine as ATX, mATX, PS3, PS2, etc. SFX. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you guys!

    You are the very welcome.

I don't think that is correct.

The main power connector to the motherboard in a standard atx P/S has 24 pins and I believe that if you check the main power connector to the motherboard on your dc7600, it has only 20 pins.

I know that the card with 1 GB of only prints 29 w.  One with 2 GB of memory probably attracts a little more.

You must be well with the 1 GB and maybe very well with the 2 GB.

I like to use this calculator power supply useful for determining if a card that I want to install is a good choice for me without upgrading the P/S.

  • Network drivers for Windows 7 dc7600

    Hello

I upgraded my Compaq DC7600 CMT to Windows 7 and I have searched for the network drivers.  I checked on the HP site but could not find the network drivers for Windows 7.  Does anyone have the link?

    Any help is greatly appreciated

    Kevin

    Hi, Kevin:

The dc7600 is not supported by HP for Windows 7. You can use the driver to Windows Vista business below:

    http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/SoftwareDescription.jsp?lang=en&cc=us&prodTypeId=12454&prodSeriesId=472276&prodNameId=472278&swEnvOID=2096&swLang=13&mode=2&taskId=135&swItem=vc-68148-1

Order your onboard speaker work with W7, you must download and install the latest Realtek audio driver:

Accept the agreement, download and install the first driver listed.

  • Replace hard drive DC7600 mini lathe

I have a HP Compaq Business Desktop dc7600 - P4 630 convertible minitower which was provided with two drives 80Gbyte hard.  I would like to replace one of the disks (D) with 160 GB SATA 3.0 GB/s hard (HP PY277AA part number) or hard drive of 250 GB SATA 3.0 GB/s (number PY278AA).  Is there a reason not to go for the biggest of them?  BIOS won't recognize the larger size and how to configure it?  And, finally, when I open the case of the PC, is it obvious which drive (C or D) is that?

    Thank you

You will have no problem according to the size of the disk. You can just remove old and plug replacement. When installed go to computer, right-click and select manage and find disk management. It will show the new drive as empty space, and you can do a right click on it create a partition and format and do not forget to assign a drive letter. I guess that drive D is for storage. Readers don't will not labeled C and D physically but not bootable drive will usually be in the higher numbered SATA port. You can certainly test and error if all else fails. Simply unplug one then the other and see if the system boots. I personally would clone the existing to the new drive, which will be faster startup disk. If you need help with that, after return.

  • 8200E USDT HP CPU change

I need a new processor in an HP 8200E USDT, product XY152ET #UUW number

I was wondering if I can buy an intel i3-3220 dual core CPU with the following specifications:

    Ivy Bridge 1155, 3.3 GHz, Dual Core, 3 MB, 55W, 22nm, 4xHT, DDR3 1600 MHz, Intel HD2500, PCIe 2.0, Retail

This processor i3 will agree and will work without problem in the 8200E?

The original processor located in the machine has a plug of (number 640953-001) intel i5:

    Processor Quad - Core Intel Core i5-2400 s 64-bit - 2.50 GHz (6 MB Intel Smart Cache, 95W TDP)

    Hello dms007,

That is right. You should not use a processor that is not listed as compatible with your computer.

If you get one of the three listed it should work fine.

  • dc7600 PC CMOS not remember settings after battery failure

Re: dc7600 Convertible Minitowers, 3 GB of RAM, an 80 GB HARD drive and what looks like a power supply 365 w.

This PC is not used for several months and is not plugged into the socket to the wire while it is unused. When

I recently started it again, it will start automatically, without my press the power button. Rather than running

normally, before starting in Windows, he had a cursor at the top left of a black screen and counted through which

I guess is the MB of RAM, because he stopped counting when he got about 3000 MB. Two error messages appeared then,

the Advisor first of all that the system configuration has changed since the last start of the system, or loss of power for the real time

battery had occurred, and the battery may does not work properly and may need to be replaced. I had to press F1

    to continue.

The second message begins with the number 163 and advised that the time and date were not set, perhaps because of the loss

the on-board battery power and say once again the battery may need to be replaced.  I have once again pressed F1 to accept this,

and then it started and ran normally, allowing me to reset the date and time.

To try to solve the above problem, I have:

-install a new CMOS battery (twice, in the first new was doubtful)
-reset the BIOS to default factory settings (twice), using the F10 BIOS settings, I don't see a rider pass

    on the main map.

When I leave the PC plugged into the electric network power, after it was closed (quite rightly), it will be

Start with happiness and function normally without any problem when you press the power button.  However, if I shut the PC down

and unplug the electric network, when I try to restart, he always goes into RAM, count, error message and

Date audit/reset process again. The PC works perfectly after this sequence of events.

So far, the problem persists.  It is obviously not a HARD drive error or the operating system, so are there other things that can be done

to address the problem, for example. flashing the BIOS, or I'm looking to replace the motherboard?

Any help you can give me would be appreciated.

    Concerning

    PS

I leave the PC plugged into the power supply, due to the fact that the power supply in my area is

subject to spikes, Browns and thunderstorms outs.

    Hello Paul

I tried all your advice, and I still get the same problem, so it seems that my motherboard is not detecting the battery for some reason any. Probably a symptom of living in the tropics - we just went through the season of more heavy rains on record.  I'll mark this as complete discussion. And start looking for a replacement motherboard...

Thank you very much for your help and for taking the time to respond to me!
