Defective screen functions

I have an iPhone 6, I have a little more than a year. There are no cracks or damage to the phone, but it won't let me use all the functions of the screen itself. "Home" button works. And Sir. I tried to restart. But it does not always allow me to use the features of the screen.

I would try a reset of the force. Press and hold the power button / stop and the "home" button until the Apple logo appears.

Here is a link, just scroll to the bottom of the page then.

    Hi David,

Please contact the Microsoft community. We will be happy to help you with your concern.

According to the description, screenshot image is large and you want to get it in normal size. Am I wrong?

Screenshot should give a 1:1 copy of the screen, you can check the zoom value, but it will be set to 1 x when you open it.

Please send us a screenshot of the screen so that we can check that the size and let you know.

First: explain to people who come here that the possible small text on the logon screen is not the text of the actual issue, but a title. Mozilla in general (and this is a problem in my mind) requires more that a common user will know trying to find or post something about your products. Generally poor user interfaces. After having entered my information and proceed to the next step: what on earth are the options you provide supposed to do? Come on; Get a non-specialist to look at these things that you present to users to simple English-language dailies can see what you mean!

After you have installed the files from Tuesday October patch (not identified as defective, extensive research on the web), my screen is too jerky and delayed when I scroll through the page or enter text.

I installed the last chart AMD drivers/software. I looked for things that may interfere. My final test was to copy the url of this site in Firefox to IE. No problem with IE.

ERGO, there is a problem with Firefox. Regardless of the cause.

Please try to find a solution.

    Hello

Try disabling graphics hardware acceleration. As this feature has been added to Firefox, it has gradually improved, but there are still some problems.

You will have to perhaps restart Firefox for it to take effect, so save any work first (e.g. you compose mail, documents online that you are editing, etc.).

    Then perform the following steps:

    1. Click the menu button

      and select Options

    2. In the window of Firefox Options (or preferences), click on the Advanced tab, and then select general.
    3. You will find in the list of parameters, the checkbox use hardware acceleration when available . Clear this check box.
    4. Now restart Firefox and see if the problems persist.

This solve your problems? Please report to us!

    Hello Emilinator,

You are not able to use the F4 key to switch between screens.

Go to Device Manager, uninstall the keyboard, and then restart the computer.

This uninstall and reinstall the drivers for the keyboard.

Here is a link to the Device Manager.

You can also hold down the windows key and press the letter P to toggle between screens.

  • Apple Watch Shake to alarm screen function

    This is a feature request.

Imagine yourself in a metro/bus holding a bracelet with your Apple Watch on this wrist.

Plus you have a bag or an umbrella in the other hand. Now, you have two options to find out what the time:

    1. let pass the strap, put down your arm and raise it to see your watch dial.
    2. you could ask someone

If I could only shake my watch to see my face of the watch while I still hold the strap.

The solution is obviously a function "shake to reactivate the display. Is it not?

  • Defective screen on Portege M800

I bought a PORTEGE (M800-107) in 2009 and before the expiration of the 3-year-old warranty (2012), the screen went black all the time.
I sent it to the official service of TOSHIBA in Greece (called "IDEAL his '), who fixed it in about a month (and after two attempts).
A year and a half later, the screen went black again. Now they ask me 500 euros for the replacement of the screen. Of course I won't give all these money.
Portege was the 3rd Toshiba laptop, I used. I chose it because I wanted something powerful and professional. The irony is that the more expensive model has exploded sooner than the cheapest.
However, it was the LAST ONE on your part.

PS: in order to take my laptop (without attachment), I have to pay 30 euros for check technicians!
Really, you know someone who goes to the service for fun? Or I am responsible for the failure of your model?

    Hello

To be honest I m was really asking you this display problem. Portege and Tecra are the best notebooks of Toshiba business line and for years, they are known as products of high quality with the best material.

Anyway, sometimes the best products have problems and be in trouble. Similar things happen with all technical products. I know that's enough damage and angry, especially in the time when you need your laptop.

Maybe it sounds stupid now, but maybe you can buy view on your own and find someone who can exchange it for you. I did it for my friend a few years ago. We purchased watch on eBay and we exchanged it alone. Of course on our own risk.

    Bye and good luck

  • Is it possible to get the split screen function in firefox 4

The possibility of dividing the screen was a very useful feature in the previous version of firefox, however, it is not available in version 4. Is there another way to get this tool?

Firefox has never had a built-in option in the split screen, such a feature is added by an extension. The only one I know that is compatible with Firefox 4 is Split Pannel - https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/split-pannel

I got my laptop about 3 years now and the screen seems pixelated when I move the screen back.

To get the screen back to normal, I have to "agitation" everywhere. It's usually worse when the screen has been closed, and it seems to take more time to do it right back.
What could be wrong? A loose connection? Y at - it a fix for this?

    Hi vlc3k,
looks like a wire cut down to me...

to resolve this problem, replace the wires to the lcd screen.

  • Re: Satellite A200 - 14 d - cable defective screen or something else?

    Hi, guys. :)

I'm having a problem with my display. I don't have an external display to test on so I have to give the service a go because I don't want to buy the part after part and replace it with my 'old' just to know that the problem is not caused by the latter. That said, here is a more detailed description of the source of my headaches:

More than 3 weeks ago (yeh, that much!: D) the backlight of my screen (Toshiba Satellite A200 - 14 d) turned black. "No worries!" I thought because I had 2 cases before replacing the inverter Board. If things were really that simple... * sigh * I bought a frequency inverter making sure that is the problem (I can see what happens on the screen only if I have a bright source of light pointed in his direction - this is what made me think that the problem comes from the Commission of the inverter).

I replaced the inverter, but to my great disappointment, the bakclight does not turn on or at least not for long. I noticed that there is light in the lower right corner of the screen. Once I disassembled completely my screen and a large part of the laptop itself, I have riddled the cables a bit and now if I don't move around the screen and put it in a special position backlight turnes on until after load of the GRUB bootloader. But sometimes it lights. So obviously this isn't the backlight itself (phewwww) for when it is activated, I can see the entire screen and there is a bright light everywhere.

So before considering service I want to have a diagnosis of my own (with your help of course: D) and see, just for the record, if I'm right.
As I wrote before - I don't have an external display to test these things. I can play movies and games without a problem (it's - regardless of the fact that I do not see a thing without a flashlight in my hand into account: D).

So the omho problem is either the motherboard itself (which I can test with an external display :() or cable.
In view of the facts and experiences, I did and described above, I think that cable is the source of all evil.

    See you soon,.
    RBA

    > As I wrote before - I don't have an external display to test these things. I can play movies and games without a problem (it's - regardless of the fact that I do not see a thing without a flashlight in my hand into account: D).

Well, the backlight is controlled by FL inverter s thereby
If the FL inverter didn t solve the problem, then there must be problems with a screen itself

The external monitor would check if the problem is related to the graphics chip or the screen itself, but if you have no external monitor then I would recommend a visit to a downtown computer technician

I mean, it is best to check the parts first before replacing something without knowing if the part is really affected you know

The following applies at least to Office 2010.

    Open the Word Document.

If you want then all desktop screen, click on the key Ctrl + PrintScreen and then on the Word document, right click and paste the content.

If you want that the active window, then the window is 'active', click on the ALT + PrintScreen then on the Word document, do a right click and paste the content.

You can also use "Snip" to cut any piece of anything on the screen, then use 'Save as' to save the capture to a .png or .jpg file.  In the Word document, use Insert to place the image in your document.

  • Graphics of defective screen with keyboard volume control

I have the HP TouchSmart 610-1030y and when I press the buttons volume control on keyboard, instead of the graphic showing the volume control on the screen, all I get is a blank white box. The volume control does not work, it's just the screen icon that is faulty. Can what drivers or software I try reinstalling to resolve this problem? By pressing the buttons volume control on the side of the screen is the same thing. Using Windows 7 64 bit. Thank you.

Software keyboard, screen, is what generates volume graphics, if you head in this direction, you have to solve it.

  • Defective screen connector

The cable/Ribbon from the motherboard, via the right hinge on the screen is faulty, which causes the screen sometimes flashes.

Are there any known I could try?

    ~ Viper13

Had this problem before on a laptop older. I disassembled the case, the two halves, to get to the driver from the MB to the screen, live wire and used a non-conducting probe (stir coffee in plastic) for press and wiggle the wire at various locations. Tour off the wire ran up the back of the screen and went upstairs and was retained at the back of the screen with a piece of tape. The band had loosened and pass the wire caused flickering. I retaped the wire at the back of the display area in a place where he worked, and the problem has been resolved for several years. Use Ribbon that will stay for a long time as the tape (small pc.) or even of bandage adhesive plastic. I was desperate for a solution, because it was my daughter, she used at the College's laptop and it was either fix it or buy a new screen. A new view on ebay was around $100 at the time.
