Hello

Welcome to the Microsoft Community Forums.

I ask you to answer this question, so that we can better help you:

You try to delete the document or the print job?

If you try to delete the print job, I ask you to try the following steps:

Turn on the printer and check if the problem is resolved.

Method 1: Check the print spooler service dependencies and check if they are started.

Print spooler is a software program that temporarily stores the disk printing hard or in memory until the printer is ready to print.

a. press the Windows key + R and type services.msc in the run dialogue box.

b. locate the print spooler.

c. right-click on print spooler , and then select PTECHNIC.

d. click the dependencies tab.

Find dependencies in the print spooler , and ensure that all the dependency services are running and set to Automatic.

Method 2: If you've waited long to print a document, or if you see an error message about the print spooler, you may have to restart the spooler to print on your computer.

a. press the Windows key + R and type cmd in the Run dialog box.

b. at the command prompt, type net stop spooler , and then press enter.

You will receive a message when the spooler is stopped. Now you must empty the queue.

c. click Start , type %SYSTEMROOT%\system32\spool\PRINTERS and press ENTER.

This will bring up the file. Delete all the files in there. (This does not damage anything.) Now, you have to restart the spooler.

d. return to the command prompt and type net start spooler, press Enter.

Please get back to us with the State of the question.

  • I have a HP Officejet K550dtn printer that won't print black

They gave me this printer.  Everything seems to work OK except the black does not print!

I checked the print HP 88XL cartridge and it seems to be fairly complete and I pierced the small seal on the cartridge to make sure it doesn't have ink and mass and the black liquid on the needle, the ink supply seems functional.  I don't know how this is supposed to weigh when complete... so that the info would be useful.

I can't the printhead to move to the position of LHS, following the directions in the Self-Help, I found on the web.  I was able to do it once but it won't now work for some reason any.

I tried the printhead cleaning online to see if it works and it spits out about 20 + pages with NO black on them.

I tried 10 tap without help and tried 6 tap and this is where it goes through 20 + pages without stopping and no black.

Want to try manual cleaning the print heads, but cannot get them to move to the LHS.

I know that the tube containing the set of 3 colors and black cartridge print head are very thin and long (design?), but could not see anything that is crimped or any other problem with the tube.

I noticed that when the printer is turned on color cartridge lights are "on" while the HP 88XL is not... What is that saying?

I don't want to spend a lot on getting that BIG BOY working so any help is appreciated...

    Thank you

    Adrian

I have a printer HP Deskjet 5550 (Yes, quite old, but very reliable), and he has developed a printer jam that I can't solve.  I tried to delete the document, canceling, the printer power off, practically everything to get rid of printing, but it seems to be stuck on 'delete '.  I now can't print anything else as all other jobs piling up just behind the print job blocked / deleted.  Can anyone suggest how to totally eliminate this jam?

    Thanks a lot for reading.
