  Average time to build a system of 'CTO' Custom on order is two weeks.

  Even the 'two weeks' time depends on the type of system under construction.  For example, if parts of your system are not available at the time your order is processed, there may be a delay.

If the laptop took a week to produce and finally embarquerions and it would therefore be 10 working days before as I receive. It is written, I'm willing to wait for that, to hear the product is great.

  But then, when I followed the package, I saw that it was sent to the wrong address (all on my order has been correctly entered, billing and shipping address) and was delivered to a warehouse of Purolator in Ontario, to the Canada. Order was supposed to be shipped to Montreal, Canada.

  I called Purolator, they told me that they cannot do nothing and that sellers need to make corrections. Called again to customer service, in broken English, I understood that they will take 2-3 days to see if they can ship to my right address of this store, and if they can not (and why would'nt you can ship a Puro warehouse, they are the carrier and they produced in possession) they say they make a new computer and send it to new (that process would require a Supplement 7 to 10 days).

  So I guess you know how I feel right now about the choice to purchase directly from Dell. Could have bought from a retailer at a similar price, but he did once the product was "in production" could cancel and return policy is quite expensive (wait for the product, return it, pay for it, 15% of the value is not refunded)

  I assume you are using a TimerTask, to launch a treatment that must be running from time to time.  Be aware that you must you use the TimerTask to initiate treatment.  So if you need to do things that take a () for a long time as a network connection - a long time here is a long time in terms of calculation), you should get your initialization TimerTask (early) a new Thread and run the long process on the new Thread is NOT in the TimerTask treatment.

  Regarding your real issues, I regret that they are not clear for me.

  Here, I suspect that you need to clarify the English you used.  This reads as if the timer should be triggered at all times when the network is dosconnected and connected.  But perhaps you say, the timer works correctly and fires continuously until the network is disconnected and connected.  Can please clarify you this.

  Why a notify method call a run method.  Methods of execution are not normally called directly but are mentioned by starting the associated Thread.  And what is special about your background thread notify()?  used is usually used to, well, to warn another Thread that something that he has to wait for is now available, so the waiting Thread is normally in a wait(), not a run().  So I'm sorry, once again, I can not help because I do not understand the question.

  Text messages are managed by your carrier. I can only suggest to use a client of sms 3rd party like SMSCrunch. Maybe, that can give you the time, it was sent or received.

  You can also ask your carrier for the same information and whether they can send it to you (some of my friends who make heavy texting, have asked their carriers send delivery times with their bills.)
