• Pavilion g6-1d21dx: long time driver or BIOS on Pavilion g6-1d21dx number may not resume from sleep mode or Hibernate mode

  When my g6-1d21dx Pavilion was still fairly new, Windows 7 has started to hang whenever I tried to resume from standby or hibernation, and I couldn't get back to work until I held the power button down to force the computer to restart.

  Now, I did a clean install of Windows 32-bit 10, and everything works fine, except for - big surprise - repeated from the previous day and hibernation. Windows 10 adds quick start to the mixture, which also does not work properly, probably because it's a similar feature.

  HP already explained the cause of this problem, or provided a fix? The BIOS I have is F.49, but the projection of BIOS newer on the product page is a F.48. Maybe I need to reduce my BIOS? I saw a post where someone has talked to return to F.46 to fix very similar if not same problem on another model of Pavilion g6. In any case, anyone who is familiar with this issue?

  If the quick start is activated, whenever I put him computer have a BSOD and reboot. Usually, the error is unexpected_store_exception but I also had kernel_data_inpage_error a couple of times.   I just ordered HP Pavilion p6350z.  My previous computers were Dells.

  Didn't order any software or special guarantees or anything.  (I didn't when I bought my Dells either)

  Hello, I've had this laptop for 2 days and today under its weight all sorts of strange things. several times it has disappeared from the black screen (not arrested, just as he had torn out battery and a loss of power). I got a message that there was a problem and windows were stopped and gave an error like 0xa0000001 or something.

  but before that I have had that I was worried. some of the first things I did was to install some programs to reference. Speccy, cpuid, gpu - z. CPUID doesn't show the time, but speccy showed the hearts of the processor to make everything running at 80-90 with windows just sit and do nothing. It highlights something more than 80 in red. GPU - z shows the double with similar graphics, but about 5 degrees more down time and watch the map amd radeon hd 8670 M in much less time. a fan inside seems to be on, and when the time if abouve 95 seems to go up a gear. but I've seen speccy 106 c. time display!

  I think that's what's causing the laptop to blackout and restart; time to go over 105 for any time at all. In short it works under windows, with sometimes even with power supply plugged into the laptop screen dimming. but try and run something, such as an internet connection, connect what either in the usb which is powered by the laptop ports, or browse the web - even not watch video or streaming just google search! - and the time jump up to the middle of the 90 or more.

  Please no spamming no unnecessary links on the cleaning of the ventilation openings. its nine bought 2 days and it looked like when I turned on. There is nothing to clean the inside, unless he left the factory in this way.

  If your PC running too hot and very hot to the touch in less than half an hour of basic use, then it may be an unwanted material.

  I suggest that you call the HP technical support and log a ticket your PC or their replacement after confirmation of the fault.

What are the planning options available for your version of the software health check? In settings, you see no option to change the reminder to perform a scan or any notification as to when it will scan?

  Please tell curries/PCWord Kingston to read labels on HP products. and Sockets Partmaster their universal 90W charger doesn't fit Pavilion.  I bought this HP Notebook PC wonderful on bottom Black Friday, for use here in the United Kingdom & abroad, then left miles away in the country where we spent Christmas.  Kingston is more close to me, so I went there to get a replacement, but was horrified to be told "all computers sold in the United Kingdom have 190-240V Chargers, but I need 110v as well.  After that I bought a "universal" Partmaster-online (excellent night service with tracking delivery time) and found that it was not, we went all the way back to the country and Dees recovered original charger.  Lo & here, it is clearly marked (in microscopic characters) 110-240 volts!  Problem solved with great difficulty...

  I answered the problem of evil.  When I gave up and waited for my daughter to bring me the charger I had left after Christmas, I could see (in microscopic numbers) that he was 110-240 V!  If the know-how of PC World UK people do not know what they were talking about when they said that all shippers in the United Kingdom are 190-240V.
