Dell stage blocking an icon

Dell stage blocking a shortcut icon on the screen of my computer and I can't get access to the icon.  Can anyone help?

Hello JeanneCalkins_503,

I don't know what you mean by "Dell stage", but two options for you, both involve the Task Manager. In both cases, you use the Task Manager to access the shortcut that is blocked and give him a new place to become a shortcut to.

Option 1 (preferred):

(1) open the Task Manager (right click on the taskbar, and then click "Start Task Manager") find the shortcut that you try to access the Application from the Task Manager tab and right-click on it, then click on "put in the foreground.

(2) take the icon with left click and move it stationed behind the dell Stadium. who will give him a different position when you close this request to its shortcut icon. Alternatively, you can right click on it again in the Task Manager and click on "expand".

Option 2:

((1) to open the Task Manager (right click on the taskbar, and then click "Start Task Manager") find the icon "Dell stage" which hides your application shortcut and move it as 2) above (pass of the road somewhere elsewhere on the desktop), or close and then access and move the icon of shortcut to his blocking.

Let me know if you have other questions about it.

Kind regards

    Hello

My laptop is preinstalled with Dell Stage. Since the purchase, I upgraded to win 10 of Win 7.

Dell Stage is not compatible with Win 10. (see below)

I tried to uninstall Dell Stage of my system, but that proved impossible.

I visited downloads Dell to try and get another complete version of the software pre-installed , but that seems also impossible as Dell downloads won't charge no matter what.

Dell Stage does not work on 10 to win. It was preinstalled on my laptop. I can't uninstall Dell Stage of my system. I can't on Dell downloads.

Dell Stage trying to load at startup, and it significantly slows startup.

    So, what are my options?

After searching around, I discovered that even if you cannot uninstall Dell Stage, you can remove it from your startup program.  Cortana, type ms and click on System Configuration of the System Configuration box should appear.  Press start, then the Task Manager open blue.  Scroll to Dell Stage and highlight, then in the lower right corner of the box you see Disable.  Click to disable and close the box and restart the computer.  You won't be bothered again by Dell Stage.

  • LabVIEW block diagram icons became invisible

    I'm a bit of a loss here.

I worked on a fairly large vi of higher level for a while when suddenly several vi system developed display problems.  In particular, all the screws of the FPGA module no longer appear on the block diagram.  They are there, because I can move the properties and thread them, but they are invisible.  Even if I add a new menu, it is invisible.  Is the same for the control on the structure of timed loop block.  The loop is visible, but the controls are not.

I have attached a picture of a part of the vi that shows what should be a 'open FPGA reference' and a timed loop.  As you can see, the wires are connected and it compiles and works very well, but there is nothing on the screen

It is specific to this vi.  If I create a new vi and add the same vi they look very well.  As far as I know, I did not change to any display settings.

    Any suggestions?

    Hi Nathan,

You should be able to get a global position by moving one of the scroll bars.  When you click or drag the scroll bar a small box should appear (right of the cleaning if the BD is enlarged or below the bar of horizontal scrolling if the BD is is not maximized) giving the global coordinates.  If you find that you are outside about 15000 pixels (I don't know if it is a hard cut) are trying to move close to the origin.

You should not recreate anything.  Actuall you can find the line where the icons become visible.  In a quick test here he looked about 15000 pixels.

  • Reference Dell backup & recovery file icon

I use Dell backup and recovery for data files. The clock symbol icon was placed on all the folders and files that are saved with this tool. How can I delete the icon? It's a distracting nuisance.

    I found a solution.

Move the 2 images in the folder "C:\Program Files (x 86) \Dell backup and Recovery\locale\Shell.

    Restart the computer...

  • Dell C1760nw blocking

Hi, only have a color laser Dell C1760nw printer a few weeks. I feel today and runs of paper. I put new paper in the front power and as the first page is gone she stuck and started strong by clicking. I stopped the print job. off, open door recharge. pulled the two blue levers upward and took the pages manually. Reset it and he turned his back. He went through the process is usual and then the light went green as usual and he says "ready to print". When I tried to print again the page would go and stuck and now I constantly get a message saying that the rear cover open paper jam remove paper 077-900

    Can someone help me please!

    Hello MARKIE2210,

Based on the error your sounds like there are still a few pieces of paper in the way or the sensory it will not reset. Please load just a single sheet in the tray area and hold Cancel for 5 seconds. This should force the paper to be picked and pushed through the printer, the question of compensation.

    Kind regards

  • Icons are not displayed using Windows 7 on HP Pavilion DM4 laptop. They appear with laptop same Chrome browser. Also display on desktop Dell with Windows XP

    An example:

In gmail, when you click on an email in your Inbox, graphic icon representing the options for the selected e-mail (for example, trash, etc.) appear in Chrome, but is replaced by images of empty rectangle in Firefox or Internet Explorer. You can move the cursor on each case for explaining the option to display the text and then click on it and it will work. On my Dell desktop PC, graphic icon appear in Firefox as well as IE and Chrome.

You have the option to 'automatically load images '? You can check by going to the Firefox Menu (or tools) button > Options > content tab.

  • Did I lose progress in blocked games?

I have an iPad 2 Air runs the latest version of the software, not jail broken. It is however controlled admin and some applications have been blocked accidentally like YouTube, Google, clash of Clans, Clash Royal etc.

I played both of these games for a few months now and I don't know if I will lose all my progress when they are unlocked.

I looked into the use of storage, and both are still there but much lower in the list, with at least half as well as before. I also looked into the use of the battery for a week and the location n ° 1 is taken up by 'deleted apps and games. All blocked applications icons disappeared, and when I try to open the App store a message pops up saying "this app has been blocked by your administrator of explicit content" even if the confrontation of the Clans is rated 9 +.

I just need help on whether or not I should start to stress out or not on my progress. Please don't lie to me to make me feel better temporarily.

If you connected to the Game Center or connection of the game console, it should always be there. Regarding things being blocked, it probably wasn't an accident. Businesses COMPUTER and services don't usually want their devices used for games, and the only way to make sure this doesn't happen to the clock is to block it completely.

  • Uninstalling DELL STADIUM

During the Installation of Windows 8 update on my Dell, I wonder to uninstall DELL STAGE. The uninstall does not allow me to do. Any help would be appreciated.

The installation can be locked for active processes. Try to restart in Mode safe mode and try the uninstall via the Control Panel programs and features or applet adding / remove programs .

If you're still having trouble with uninstalling, I recommend Revo Uninstaller. There is a free and a paid version and the free version should be sufficient for your needs.

    Download Revo Unistaller

  • Destop icon layout

My desktop icons will not remain in the positions I select but comes down to a simple list.  How can I block the icons to my selected location?

    Hello

Right-click on an empty part of the desktop > run the mouse cursor over rearrange icons by > in submenu then uncheck automatic, like reorganization which then organized on one side in the columns.

You can let snap them to grid and show checked desktop icons

With snap to grid checked you can do drag and drop anywhere you like without them overlapping.

    See you soon.

  • Block diagram is broken

    Hi all

I have a very frustrating problem. The block diagram of my VI has become perhaps a bit too large (though I tried to keep it as small as possible, there is a lot of stuff going on there) and after my last diagram cleanup some objects have disappeared!! I looked in the forum and it appears that there is a solution

    http://forums.ni.com/t5/LabVIEW/Labview-block-diagram-icons-became-invisible/m-p/1119848#M49439

based on moving the objects of the diagram towards the origin but this does not work for me... When I try to scroll to the right most end of the diagram in order to pickup the objects with broken graphics and move them towards the origin labview crashes

Please note that I have no other problems with the PC I am working with and that my graphics card drivers are up to date!!!

Any help?? I really really want to avoid rolling back a version in my VI...

    Thanks a lot,
    Harry

    Ok

It seems that I had not been paying attention... The solution described here is valid in my case as well...

  • False customer Dell technical support call

I received 3 calls from phishing to an offshore organization claiming to be Dell customer Suppor and tries to scam me for giving them access to my computer.

Monday, someone called me from the number 499-492-6931 and presented themselves as Sam, a Dell Technical Support, with an Indian accent. They explained on my Dell computer software they noticed that everything in is not infected my computer had received a number of attacks recently and to better protect what they wanted to do some features of Windows 'RUN' that may include typing "eventvwr" in the Run dialog box.

As she asked me to do this I Googled what she told me that I don't want unsolicited calls and immediately saw the warnings 'SCAM' in descriptions of all URLS that appear in the lists of Google. I told him I knew it was a scam and that I ended the call and hung up.

Apparently, they think that I'm very stupid, or now identified my number as a user of Dell PC and today I received two calls. Both of 800-254-1254. They have left a voice message that is involuntary where an Indian woman is laughing with his colleague on the first and 2, I replied and told her that I knew she was trying to rip me off and she hung up immediately.

I don't know if Dell can work with the telephone companies to block these calls, and maybe try to see who owns to chase these people. They are now an embarrassment to me because they have my number and ask me repeatedly.  Unfortunately, there are people for fall, the elderly in particular who could be more confident.

    Good fishing!

I doubt that Dell can block these scammers, unfortunately. I get phone calls from time to time. They ask usually you can open the event viewer, which shows always insignificant 'mistakes' to demonstrate that you have problems exist. Their goal is to make you turn the remote control of your PC.

The fact is that neither Dell nor Microsoft can remotely monitor your PC from infections or other problems (except if you permit). All these calls saying cold also are scams.

Although these callers often have thick foreign accents, I saw recent reports of the appellants with no accent, likely from the North America.

I'm having fun with these crooks. When I acknowledge number a crook in the calls view, I respond with ' 911 - what is the nature of your emergency? Or I'll play dumb and string them along for wasting their time. Sooner or later they will get the message and leave you alone.
