Dell V313 only prints after reboot

I have a Dell V313 printer all-in-one that allows to print only after that I restarted the computer.

All documents are in the queue and they print after restarting.  Pretty frustrating.

Any advice?  Thanks in advance.

If you have IE 11 installed, uninstall it and your problem should go away.

  • DMM Administrator role maintains only superuser after reboot

    Hi all

I am running version 5.1 DMM and use LDAP authentication to access the DMM.  I currently have 3 users defined in the role of the Admin, me and two others.

Whenever I have perform a reboot of the DMM (user interface, Administration , Services tab, then clicking Options, server restart), all administrators of Admin role disappear, and none of the directors can log in with their own powers but must instead use the "Superuser" account until I have add in the Admin role.

Does anyone have the same problem and how to solve?

    Thank you

    See you soon

    Linda

    Linda,

    My apologies.

    It is a known issue:

CSCta11809 - DMM: user role going to the ADMIN to READ ONLY (LDAP)

The problem has been resolved in DMS 5.2.  Briefly, the problem occurs when the DMM

sync with the LDAP server and there has been changes to LDAP users.

So the DMM removes admin users in the admin role list.

I've tested this in point 5.2 and it is solved.

There is no real solution for this.  If you can not put right now, you can minimize

the effect in any manual do LDAP synchronization or schedule longer between intervals

synchronization, which may require a setting of role after synchronization.

  • All-in-One printer, V313 All in One Printer, W7 only prints the first Doc.

    Hello

My apologies if this has been answered in the past (but I'm not).

I just swapped from a Win XP machine on a W7 machine and now my AIO Printer Printer Dell v313 only prints the first document.

The second honored document Mile makes the hiccups of the printer, but nothing happens.

I have uninstalled and installed the software from the Dell website, and I'm at a complete loss as to why the pilot does not print the second document.

Fortunately, I still have the XP machine and it has no problem printing of any document sent to the printer.

I thought I'd be cleaver and tried to copy the folder I thought that contain the driver files anywhere in the W7 machine but that no longer works.

    Help, please.

    Stephen,

IE11 withdrawal is the best solution.

The other solution is to disable the ToolTips for the printer, but then you can't see if the printer is printing, ink status, etc..

Start, Control Panel, devices and printers, click with the right button on your printer, left, click Printing Preferences, advanced, more options.

    Click never see the.

  • El Capitan keyboard does not not after reboot

I have a Macbook Pro 13 inch with OS X El Capitan 10.11.6

After one of the recent improvements, I met a problem, if I take my mac, the keyboard and the trackpad to respond enough lag (if I constantly try to move the cursor, he'll have a time and then for like half an hour it will completely stop responding and after this the other repeats). It only happens after reboot and only on the login screen. So if I put my mac to sleep and then wake up, everything will work perfectly. Same thing if I managed somehow to connect, once the keyboard and trackpad respond correctly. The only button that works fine after reboot is the power button, but it doesn't help much, because it charges does not solve the problem somehow: as soon as the user selection screen, keyboard and mouse stops responding again (or should I say "start answering from time to time").

I saw lots of questions here on the keyboard does not not after waking up, but as you can see, this isn't my situation.

    Try again in Safe Mode.

Start up all by holding down the SHIFT key. It takes five minutes longer because it is a disk first aid on the way up, and you MUST provide your user name and password, even if you normally the automatic connection.

  • Re installation Dell is 920 printer says spooler service must be started. How to start and get the printer to work?

Windows XP... Dell desktop computer and printer

Although Christopher has correctly described a way to start the Printer Spooler service, chances are that he won't stop even once until you remove the problem that caused its judgment in the first place.

Often, but not always, the print spooler stops because there is a corrupt print job stuck in the queue or a damaged printer driver.  However before you clean things up, on general principles, that you can download, install, update and run full scans with each of these two free programs:

    AntiMailware MalwareBytes
    SUPERAntiSpyware

Do not operate the two scans simultaneously.  Each will take a long time, so start it and then go do something else for a while.

    Cleaning of printers

NOTE: If after completing step has the print spooler is not always running after you launched the command "net start spooler", you will not be able to follow all the steps in "First Article".  Use of the special procedure for printers Lexmark described below and follow in its first Article.  If still no joy, use the alternative method that is linked below.

    A. Clean on print jobs pending

    • Open a command prompt window (start > run > cmd > OK)
    • Type the following in the black command prompt window, and then press ENTER after each line

    net stop spooler
    del/q '% windir%\system32\spool\PRINTERS\*.* '.
    net start spooler
    output

    B. clean the old printer drivers and install the latest drivers by using the directions in One Article.

A special procedure for computers that have or had a Lexmark or Dell-badged Lexmark printer.

Open a command prompt window (start > run > cmd > OK)

Type the following in the black command prompt window and press enter

dependent on the spooler of sc config = RPCSS
    output

Note that there is no space before the =

If you want to use a Lexmark or Dell-badged Lexmark printer after having done the above, you will need to reinstall it.

  • Dell V313 does not print after system restore

My apologies if I should have posted this elsewhere.

    I have a printer all-in-one Dell V313, using Windows 7, 64-bit. I really like the printer.

I used the "remove IE11 update' to good use, and he continued to print well for about a month, until...

My father ran a system restore point to solve another problem, and now I can print is no longer. DOH!

I moved that pesky IE11 updated again, but this does not solve the problem.

When I "Launch Dell printer at home", instead to open the main menu, a dialog box pop box, asking me if I want to open, save, or cancel the download to a temporary file named "DSX # .tmp", where # change every time.

I opened it with notepad and this file seems to contain a rudimentary version of this main menu, but of course it is not interactive. (The home Dell printer menu is never responsible.)

Another interesting note is that when I print something (does not seem to matter what program), the printer status area is not - what appears instead is a html file called jswdialog.html. This file is apparently empty.

I made Java and run-time environment has been updated, just in case. I tried to remove all traces of the printer (by removing prints, queue, stop/print spooler, printer, uninstall drivers uninstall from compensation), and reinstall everything from scratch, right down to the firmware of the printer, but nothing will print when I ask him.

Instead, it adds the work in file print, which then comes out after a reboot.

The scanner function works of the printer itself, although this menu of the printer on the Dell home page will not start.

Any suggestions? I must be missing something, but I don't know what. My last resort is to reinstall Windows, or reset whenever I want to print something, but I'd rather not.

    Thanks for reading,

    Matt

    Matt,

Try these teak and see if it prints. If it's not I can guide you reinstall the printer, but printing or tasks that can be frozen in the queue will need to be removed or the problem would remain.

Start, Control Panel, Manager of devices.

Go to the section USB controller, and then click the plus sign +.

Go to each USB hub root and right-click on it, on the left, click Properties, on the left, click power management. Uncheck the allow the computer to turn off this device to save power.

    Restart your computer.

  • Dell V313 does not print

My old A940 is not compatible with my new Studio XPS Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit, so I bought a Dell V313.  I'm starting to think that they need to add it to the list of incompatible.  I have read through all the threads and tried what PudgyOne suggested and it still won't print. It is connected via wired USB.  It's online, the computer recognizes it scans when I said to scan through the software interface; but it does not print.  The unit worked when I put in place and told to print the initial alignment is not the problem.  I tried to uninstall and reinstall and once again with antivirus off the coast.  I tried to reinstall without the 5 upgrades, I tried Dell Support driver installation options including the Vista compatibility mode.  Nothing works.  Help!

    Hello everyone,

I have the Dell V313 printer on the computer of my mother for about three years. Here are some lessons I've learned. I hope this will help other people:

    • The printer works with Windows 7, Windows 8 and Windows 8.1. I had the printer works well with all of these operating systems.
    • When it prints, printing results agree for such a low price model.
    • After three years, the print head is dead. Fortunately, I had an extended warranty and it was replaced free of charge. If matrices head printer and you do not have the guarantee, bad luck. Head printer costs about the same as a new printer. The guarantee also costs the same as a new printer. I think that's what you agree to when you buy such a cheap model.

Here are some tips that Support Dell will give you, but just hours fiddling with drivers:

    • Do not use the CD that came with the driver. Do not download any drivers. It is easier:
    • Just plug in the USB cable and Windows (7, 8, 8.1) will automatically download the necessary drivers from Windows Update. These drivers are tested with Microsoft and quite reliable. Be Patient. It may take a few minutes to download. Wait until a bubble appears telling you that "the device can be used now.
    • There will be an icon on the desktop or somewhere else inviting you to "download additional software to complete the Installation". This will take you to a download from Lexmark. I suggest you do not download this software. It is not necessary, but makes worse the driver Situation (see below).
    • The Windows Update driver allows you to print and scan from all applications using the standard Windows, printing and scanning of the interfaces.

Now, here is the problem that everyone faces after awhile:

    • Suddenly, the printer cannot print any more. Maybe you get an error stating that "communication with the printer has failed.
    • That means No help: unplug and re-plug the USB cable does not help.
    • By pressing 'Print' new does not help.
    • What help is : restart Windows. I mean, re - start. By pressing the power button on your computer is probably put the computer in standby mode. It's not a reboot. We must find the button for "Closing Windows". Use Google if you don't know where to find it in Windows 7 or 8.

    Here's what happens:

    • The Lexmark printer driver installs a Service. There is nothing wrong or unusual about it. The Service is responsible for extended functions as indicating the status of your ink cartridges. The Service is called "dlea_Service" or something similar with "are".
    • As I've discovered, this Service crashes sometimes when Windows wakes from sleep or hibernation mode. The reason for this problem.

What you can do to get the printer running without going crazy:

    • If you the technical skills are weak, just save all your work and re - start the computer. It's annoying, but if your computer starts quickly, it is acceptable.
    • If your technical skills are high, you can try to restart the Service through the command line. Sometimes, it works. But it requires administrator privileges, is not a solution for my mother.
    • If your technical skills are very high, you can go to Windows Services and Windows Manager to restart the Service automatically after a Crash to say. I don't know if it helps. I haven't run enough tests in this way.

Why not install additional software from Lexmark?

    • The additional software will give you some nice Options in the printer Panel control (in Control Panel). Things like the optical recognition of characters or "scan to pdf and send by E-Mail. It may be useful.
    • However, the additional software installs even more Services and mess the drivers even more. My personal opinion is that most of the customers don't need this.
    • Printing with Windows is simple and requires no additional software.
    • Scanning may be difficult for some people. You can use the scanner with all applications that support the Standard Interface. For example, in Windows Live Photo Gallery, it is called 'Import '. It will evoke dialogue scan of the operating system. It is not fancy, but it works very well.
    • Windows 8.1, I recomed he new app "Scanner". You just need to press a button called "scan." Open the scanned image. Now, to use the new feature 'share' in the bar of charms to share by E-Mail. No additional software required. It can't get easier than this!

I hope this helps someone out there!

  • Reference Dell 926 printer will not print after installing Windows 7

After the upgrade to Windows 7 my 926 printer will not print. I followed the suggestions found here (unplug the printer on the wall, remove the brick, low load patch R166248 to delete the printer, the latest driver to load, R146832 dated 26/01/07, reboot). Restarts, driver going through complete installation process then I get an error at the end of the process, "the Dell Photo 926 Printer printer driver is not installed". I did this several times. In addition, I restarted the spooler to print several times. No luck. Additional suggestions on how I can get my 926 to work with Windows 7?

    Greg,

I think that we all regret our first wedding, well most of us.

Removal of print jobs is a way of really nice to get rid of your documents. After you restart your computer, you should be able to run the fix, Manual printer removal driver and restart once more. Try it to install the Vista drivers in compatibility mode, I used Vista SP2.

Right click on the file setup.exe, on the left, click Properties, compatibility of the left click. Change Vista compatibility. Then, install the appropriate drivers. You will be asked when connect (printer)

To install the drivers, sometimes the file decompresses and does nothing. You must find the setup.exe file, right-click on it, then on the left click on run as administrator *.

  • My dell v313 printer will not print in color

I have a dell printer it prints black but not color.  What could be the problem?  I bought the printer in 2009, it is Dell V313

    Hello Patricia,

First question: you have Windows 7 32 or 64 Bit OS (to find go to control panel, click on system, scroll down to the section of the OS, if its 64-bit it'll tell, otherwise it will be silent on the Bit depth). It is important to know that I can only find a Windows 7 driver for the 32-bit version, not the 64-bit version!

If you have not visited the site of Dell, you will find perhaps instructive: http://search.dell.com/results.aspx?s=gen&c=us&l=en&cs=&k=printer+v313&cat=all&ref=ac .

This article on printing in color was particularly interesting: http://www.dell.com/support/troubleshooting/us/en/04/KCS/KcsArticles/ArticleView?c=us&l=en&s=bsd&docid=52113 .

Let me know if this helps you.

  • 2540 HP all-in-one printer print by wifi only works after the router reset every time

    Hi, I recently bought a HP2540 all-in-one printer.

I was unable to get the printer to work via wifi after trying lots of different things, but after rebooting the router and try again, it worked perfectly.

However, it seems that whenever I'm away from the computer (or turn printer work) it will not print. However, as soon as I restart the router again it works perfectly. I guess it's something to do with the IP reset maybe, but would be unsure how to proceed?

    Thank you

    Hey @BrentBWood,

Thank you for contacting HP Support of Forums!

I understand you're having intermittent problems of wireless communication with your HP all-in-one Deskjet 2540. I want to help you resolve this issue today!

Because the problem seems to be fixed after you powercycle router it certainly seems to be a problem of ports with the router itself. This does not indicate that something is not actually with the router. It simply means that the router is doing its job too well and block the printer intermittently as a threat attempts to access your network.

For your reference, I'll provide you with the support document HP on wireless connection problems. You already have the reset of the router so don't worry too much about those, but the other steps can help solve this problem for you:

Printer keeps no connection Wi - Fi

If these steps don't are still not solved the problem I recommend you talk to your router manufacturer to get them to open the appropriate printer ports.

  • HP Deskjet 970Cse only prints red after the new color cartridge installed.

HP Deskjet 970Cse only prints red after the new color cartridge installed. I use black HP 45 and HP 78 color. Both are new. I know the printer is an older model, but it works well a month ago.  Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you for your help.  It was a faulty cartridge.  I pressed a white cloth on the ink source and only yellow and blue were visible, without red (magenta).  I've returned the fabric and cartridge in the store (with my receipt) and managed to get another canister... it worked!  Both cartridges have dates of expiry of 2016.  Glad I didn't have to spend time troubleshooting my printer.

    Mike,

You can try to disable the ToolTips of printers. If the printer is wireless, try channel 11 in your wireless router. You can also try to remove computers printer scan list and then restart the computer and see if it prints.

Start, Control Panel, devices and printer, your printer, printing preferences, advanced, more control options. Tell him to never show. The problem with this setting is that you can not tell if you are weak of ink, printer jams, etc..
