Designjet 510 - print head not moving not

Hello. I've been printing drawing A1 when suddenly, he stopped and told me paper is stuck. I followed the instructions to remove the paper and move on. The book was removed easily and unsigned of stuck.

When I have on it, it shows message that cover not closed print head, but I couldn't check on it like the print head is parked at the far left of the printer.

I reboot again, but he is stationed there for always with the same message appears.

Any idea?

Thank you.

Hi, everything has been good with this printer up to a couple of days. Whist, the right kind of noises - it just stopped printing, or sometimes {in response to requests for print) spat a blank page or both.

I tried to clean the print head, but he travels just a loop and does nothing, if the wall point, deleted and reinserted cartridge, removed market turned and replaced the duplex roller, blah blah - all the usual stuff.

But... I've never seen such a script error before - this is worrying. The printer just died on me?

If so, is it possible to replace the printhead on one of them?

No indication of how to solve the problem please?

    Thanks in advance...

I couldn't find a service manual for the OJ Pro x476w or the other.  It is usually the case for OfficeJet products but I was under the assumption that HP was poised to release a service manual for the X Pro series since his business are more than the normal OJ.

I also don't seem to be able to view the guide to normal use of the HPs site right now.  My hope was to search through it for clues as to how to complete the resettlement of the print heads, as there is usually a section small maintnenance included in the documentation.

Given the nature of this problem and what I heard of HP engineers that the printhead from the printer table must have a life that survives to the printer.  It is supposed to be enough printheads on eachother table backup in the case of breakdowns that users are not supposed to notice the difference.  Even through the printer is out of warranty HP may be interested in helping you with the picture of the print head.  I give them a call and see if they can offer any assistance.

Another idea would be to find a seller of parts and ask them if they have an array of replacement for your printer print head.  If they could have some instructions on how to install that you could use to reinstall your current table.  Googling autour, I was not able find parts online so this is perhaps a good reason to call HP and ask for suggestions on where to find spare parts.

  • DesignJet 5500: print head print test very good page, but I still get the error message to replace the printhead

On my DesignJet 5500, I rswitched the ink tubes, printheads and printhead cleaners dyeing anti-UV, 81 to 83.

I got an error message saying that the black print head needed to be replaced so I bought another head black printing and after that, I was able to print a test page that shows all the colors (image quality page?).

Magenta not give not any code of error before, but now I get an error message saying that the printhead magenta must be replaced, even if magenta print well on the printed test page.

    Hello

The printer give you a warning when the health of the print head is low, but it will continue to print.

If the problem has been solved after all print head replacement can be that a print head cause others to fail

Or, just a few bad print heads

  • OfficeJet 6500: Print head cleaning Cycle - why not choose a color?

I'm having a problem with a single color (magenta) print does not correctly. I've had problems before with black. Why the prinhead cleaning cycle does not allow the selection of a single color for cleaning? Why should I lose the other colors of ink when there is only one that needs to be cleaned? I know that HP wants to sell ink, but be reasonable! That I had problems that appear only after you HAVE installed a new ink tank. And it has not shown using a cartridge to power after best-use-by-date. My guess is that if the ink cartridges are not stored properly the use-by-date means nothing.

There are a few components of the automatic cleaning cycles.  There are a set of wiper rubber that moved across the printhead to wipe or scrape debris from the print head.  All wiping little ink is spit of each nozzle to lubricate the wiper and help clear the clogged nozzles. The wiper is built on a unique sled with a motor that moves the wipers back and forth.  Allowing single color cleaning would require a much more complicated mechanical system, with four distinct and motors wipers to control.  (The wipers should be dedicated for each color.  She would cause the nozzle clogging if the black ink is allowed to mix with the color and would cause if different colors used the same color mixing wiper.)

Similarly, for your Officejet 6500, there is a pump system for a more energetic cleaning or for initial priming of printhead.  If it was designed for a single use of color, then a more complicated system, with four independent pumps and controls.

A Mater of reliability and economics, it is not practical to have separated in level printers cleaning cycles.

  • HP plotter designjet 510 appears as ready in the control panel, but is not drawn. Plotter is shown connected to USB003. Any ideas?

I am running windows vista 64-bit. I also have downlaoded and installed service pack 1 or 2 - I forgot. But now, even though I see the tracer in the control panel---> windows printer as "ready", I can't draw anything. The abacus is silent. When I click on the print status (the little icon on the bottom right of the screen), it displays the status of trace as error.

  • HELP to the installed print head is not intended for use this product, or it may be damaged

Help - please, I get a msg that says: "the installed print head is not intended for use in this product, or it may be damaged. I was trying many solutions I found on my search but nothing doesn't work.

I was able to find the right answer to the problem I had with my printer. The printer that I have by the way is a HP Officejet 6500 E709a model.

Here is the solution is simple:

The print head is the device where sit the ink cartridges.  It may be incorrectly installed.

Remove the ink cartridges (carefully, you can get ink on yourself).  Now using the system of grey lock on the right side of the cart, remove and re - install the print head.  Shake a little before lowering the lock wall.

Now, re - install the ink cartridges.

I had to do this process 2 times because the first time did not work. Make sure that when you remove the print head, the area is clean, try to remove the very careful, a little dust and I hope it will work for you also.

  • Print heads do not last more than 3 months - OfficeJet 6500

I have a printer wireless OfficeJet 6500 running on Windows 7 and 8 of the window.

I ordered 3 print heads since I bought this printer.  The first print head lasted a year.  The second lasted almost a year.  This current printhead lasted less than three months.  I do not use the printer that much.  Maybe a few prints per month.

    There is no error anywhere.

The impression fades to very, very light black printing grey.  And with colors, so time they appear at all.  Replace the printhead fixed the problem in the past, but is this normal?

  • HP will not provide the part number for print head?

I get very annoyed at the phone support and HP website.

I want just the part number HP for printing to the printer HP Officejet 6000 (CB051A) heads!

We have more than 25 of this model and they are very reliable, but the heads begin to go - that's the ONLY problem. Throw away them in order to print heads, considering that you can always get pieces of plastic for the things would be ridiculous, not to mention very pollutants.

Please could someone tell me the part number or HP, why these printers are so reubbish we should bin them and buy the equivalent which is identical but with slightly different rooms which means that all current stocks of ink is to go to the dump!

  • not printed; print head alignment failed

I bought a printer HP 6700 Premium last summer (2012) and made a montage for use by WiFi connection to my laptop Dell Inspiron 1700.  The printer worked fine for 2 months, he was used before packing away until may 2013.

To start using again once I got an error message regarding the Set up ink cartridges.  Assuming that the cartridges were parched of non-use, I have bought/installed HP 933 XL (color) and 933XL (black) ink cartridges.  All indications from the printer indicates that the cartridges are installed correctly, and that all are new/full shells.

The printer continues to not print under the orders of the normal print or with orders queue on the printer for reports such as the 'printer status', 'Print quality', etc.  I also asked 3 times the printer functions "align the print heads", with a message of continuation of the print head alignment failed.  Show based on the "clean printhead" printer (twice) also failed to solve the problem.  When producing a page using above mentioned orders, the paper emerges with images very low (and widely dispersed).

I'm not a person technically the inclined and would be very grateful if anyone could advise on the potential problems noted, and suggestions for the resolution of it.  Thanks in advance for your response (s).

    Hi Plapen,

Can you double check your black ink cartridge.  What is a 932 instead of 933 cartridge?

If it's a 932, can your try to clean the cartridges 2 times more?  Are there changes?  If this does not help, take a look at the following link and try all measures not yet taken.  Click here  Let me know how it goes.

  • HP 3520 while a printer does not print black after changing ink and cleaning head

My 3520 printer all-in-one will not print black after cleaning print head and replacement of black ink. the printer is a little older than a year. All printing inks.

    Hi handytim1,

Welcome to the Forums of HP Support! I see that you are facing some print quality problems on your HP Deskjet 3520, you cleaned the printhead and replace the cartridge without success.

I would like to continue you here: printer does not print black ink or color of ink or prints blank Pages, I understand, you may have made some of these steps already but I need you to complete all the steps in order to solve the problem of the missing black, you encounter.

Please note: there are three stages of print head cleaning. Three steps if necessary. If the print head is badly clogged, it may require another round of cleaning. If so, wait 30 minutes after the last step of cleaning (third) to start the first stage of the cleanup process.

Let me know the results, I'll watch for your reply.

    Thank you

  • HP Photosmart C309A: black ink does not print - print head prints correctly to a different printer

Black does not print. (All HP inks) Replaced the black head - has still not printing.  Tested in an another HPprinter - head works very well.

Please answer - is there a software, cabling, physical issue with the black only?  (Tried to restart the printer and cleaning already)

    Hi @KenKrieger,

I understand that you are having problems with the black does not print, you have replaced the printhead to another printer and it prints fine. I want to help you.

I'm assuming that you used the same cartridges in the print head when you try them in another printer, let me know if you didn't like it.

Given that the new printhead works in another unit, it seems that it would be a problem with the hardware with the printer and it would need to be repaired.

I have provided all the documentation for this problem, probably all of the steps have been made previously.

Documentation to solve the black does not print:

This document provides instructions to manually clean the contacts of the cartridge.
