DeskJet 1050 J410 series: 8.1 Windows &; Deskjet 1050 J410 series all-in-One Printer/Scanner
I just took delivery of my laptop Lenovo (windows 8.1) & seeks to activate/use my printer Deskjet 1050/Scanner. I am informed that the Deskjet software is installed BUT I can't progress further. I searched HP Scan & Capture screens & read the "ratings & reviews" (they are not easy reading!) BUT cannot find how to progress further, between all of this "irrelevance", it seems to me information. Everyone there to advise me

I'm not sure I understand. You say "I am informed that the Deskjet software is installed BUT I can't progress further," what you're doing now, but can't?
While I wait for you, please use the print HP and doctor Scan. Printing HP and doctor Scan is a free utility (tool) that allows to quickly solve common printing, scanning and connectivity problems, including but not limited to:

I'm having the "HP Deskjet Ink Advantage 2515 all-in-One Printer" for more than a year now.
I was previously using Windows 7 Ultimate and there is no problem.
I did a clean install of Windows 7 SP1 Ultimate and then installed the HP software.
The printer function works perfectly.
The only problem is that the software of the Scanner itself does not open.

The WIA drivers are part of the Windows operating system.

Upgrade to Windows OS 8.1 for all-in-one printer, HP Photosmart C4385 of Vista
My old HP laptop used the Windows Vista operating system. All-in-one printer, HP Photosmart C4385 worked very well. I have a new HP computer that manages the new Windows 8 operating system and I can't load the printing software as the new operating system is incompatible with the printing software. It is certainly another available driver so I can use my all-in-one. Please let me know what the fix is far ahead, but a new printer.

Photosmart Premium Fax c309 Series all in one printer Wireless Radio does not work
Some time before, the radio on my Photosmart Premium Fax c309 series wireless all in one printer stops working.
With a wireless network test:
Wireless is on (but light indication only is not lit)
wireless network card has failed
"The wireless radio does not work. Contact Hp support.

I did some research and came across this post in the community that seemed to have worked for others with the same problem.

I had some experience in the past with an upgrade of Windows 2000, XP and a printer/Scanner, I remember more that now, but I managed to get an upgrade for the printer but the scanner never worked despite the many phone calls from HP again. HP 1510 Series All In One Printer fails to print documents
I have a HP Deskjet 1512 printer all-in-one.
Windows 7 operating system
It worked fine until I lost enternet service for several hours.
After my service was restored, the printer will make copies but NOT print documents.
The print queue is empty. I tried different sites of HP to HELP... "" The Printer Wizard "... 'Print and Scan Doctor' says that the printer is ready but cannot PRINT a TEST PAGE.
"Trouble Shooting Wizzard"... error... Wizzard cannot continue... Scanner communication cannot be established.
I uninstalled and reinstalled the printer as described, but I get the same results...
The printer does surprises me and print a coupon that I tried to print several weeks previously and canceled before it... but nothing after that.
I would appreciate any HELP or advice anyone has this problem.
Thanks for your suggestions solve my problem with my printer. I followed your advice, but the printer refused to work... In desperation, I took the computer and the printer to a repairer... After several attempts to solve the problem, they concluded that the best solution was to clean the system and reinstall the software to print as computer files have been corrupted.

Of the Original installation CD:
1. Insert the CD in the drive and then cancel Setup
2. open my computer and click right then on the CD from the drive and select open
3 open the Util folder
4 open the CCC folder
5. run the uninstall_L4 (exe or Bat)
6. once the uninstall is complete, restart the computer
7 run the Accessories\ System Tools Disk Cleanup
8. download and install the latest version of Adobe flash player

10. run the download to reinstall the printer
If the software has been downloaded and extracted to your system:
1. type % temp % in the field of race
2. Locate and open the folder starting with 7z (example: 7zS2356)

I am trying to scan from my computer windows 7 using my new printer, as shown above. I used to have an IP address with my old printer wireless so that all I had to do was get in line and type it in and print management, scanning and ink tabs HPs came. That's how I scanned it. I do not know why you can not install the printer software and driver on your computer. I now have a ready 7640 Envy (identical to your craving 7645, even software and driver) in front of me. I have ben the test using 3 different routers, more than a dozen of Windows machines, phones Samsung, Samsung tablets, tablets from HP, iPhone, iPad, Windows phones. I can't test one thing: Apple Mac machines because I have not I don't have any plan to buy one.
Installtion shouldn't take more than 10 minutes for the first computer; pop the CD just in run and please select Wireless during the installation process. For Windows 8.1 Please also using the same CD to inatall why doesn't not fit the CD I don't know. If no CD, please download the following file and run as administrator
