DeskJet 2131: Scanner cannot be installed.

I bought a HP DeskJet 2131 all-in-one printer for my home use on 11.07.2016 for use with my MacBook Pro with OS X 10.11. The printer can also be used as argued by HP with OS X 10.11.

I followed all the steps in the HP Web sites, but could not make the scanner work.

I downloaded and installed HP Easy Start to install the printer on MacBook Pro. He identified 3 software to install. However, when I tried to install (I tried at least 15 times), he gave a message "can not be installed. Please try again later. "The software mentioned cannot be downloaded from HP Web sites.

Through standard methods, I could not install the printer in my MacBook Pro. I had to download hpprinterdriver3.1.dmg and installed the same. This latest so-called version shows no 2130 DeskJet series.

I downloaded and installed HP Easy Scan of the Apple website. But it does not recognize the scanner.

I AM DIGUSTED TO HP support.

The one you suggest how to make the functional scanner in my MacBook Pro with OS X 10.11?

    The disk check showed the file "oem115.inf" was indeed installed in the directory "c:\windows\inf\".

    During troubleshooting earlier, I already copied the file
    HPScanMiniDrv_DJ3050_J610.dll
    Located on the HP installation CD
    in the folder
    c:\Windows\System32\
    and also to
    C:\Windows\SysWOW64\

    Then connect a USB, Microsoft Windows should detect the printer / scanner
    and install the drivers.

    But printing should work wireless.

    Disadvantage:

    To analyze you will need to connect using a USB cable and the scanning doesn't work so not wireless.

    b. - buy or use Hamrick VueScan. It installs its own drivers to scan.

    Product: HP Deskjet 2050 J510 of all-in-One (I don't know if it's a J510a or a J510c)

    OS: Windows 7 64 bit

    Error message: "Communication scanner cannot be established.  If make sure that your product is powered, check the connection and make sure that your network is working properly.  If these conditions are correct, restart the product and try to scan the image.
    If you have installed it printed by IP address, you may need to update the IP address.  Use the IP address update for this printer start menu entry.

    Changes to the system before the number: None.  Literally, Nothing has changed on my computer.

    I had this printer/scanner for five days.  It scanned perfectly fine for the first three days.  And then I left it for a day.  When I went to use it today, it would not scan, which gives me the error message above.

    The device is connected to the computer via USB.  It prints perfectly fine, so I know that the computer can communicate with him.  It will be perfectly fine copies, so I doubt that something is wrong with the scanner itself.  I have a theory it is drivers or do magic program scan.

    I turned the unit on and off, disconnected and reconnected it, I tried to plug the USB cable in every single port on my computer, restarted my computer many times, uninstalled and reinstalled the drivers and programs from the CD-ROM of original installation and on the HP website for driver downloads.  I tried J510a both J510c driver downloads.  I scoured the internet for some kind of solution and found none that I have not already tried.

    I feel that I have tried every possible difficulty.  However, clearly I did not, because nothing has worked.

    I used the Print and Scan doctor, and I was able to scan and copy.  The problem is that I don't know if this solution will last.  The first time I experienced these problems, the convenience store should check the firewall settings.  I did and allowed the printer using my firewall.  He scanned well, but next time I want to use it, it does not scan. Then, the store said to turn the printer off and then on again and check all connections.  I did and it scanned and copied at the time.  After that, it is to uninstall and reinstall, I did and it has digitized correctly only once after.  And finally, printing and the Scan doctor who recommended connect the printer directly to a wall outlet.  That solved the problem for now and I hope it will stay resolved.  Thanks for your support anyway.

    I'm trying to upgrade a macbook to El Capitan but I get this message from the app store: "this version of Mac OS x 10.11 cannot be installed on this computer."

    If I click on "Learn more" nothing happens. We just bought this macbook off ebay and it seems to have had a clean operating system installed and I just ran the update of the program, so everything is up to date.

    This is a Macbook 4.1, Intel Core 2 duo 2.4 ghz, 2 GB of memory. It is currently running 10.6.8.

    I searched the forums and online and see no reason why it won't even download the update... Any help would be appreciated!

    Try to reset the App Store:

    Close the App Store completely from the window of the selector app by double clicking the Home button and slide up the App Store preview pane until it disappears from the display. Then sign out of the iTunes Store (in the settings).

    Then perform a forced reboot. Hold down the Home and Sleep/Wake buttons simultaneously for about 15-20 seconds, until the Apple logo appears.

    Then reconnect to the iTunes Store.

    Also try by going to settings > general > Restrictions > and make sure that iTunes Store, Apps install, delete the Apps and In - App purchases are all under the section allow. Try to install again.

    1. your iMac end 2013 supports the facilities of BIOS/MBR and GPT/EFI.

    2. the legacy BIOS/MBR method requires a hybrid MBR.

    3 EFI/GPT is recommended for your specific model.

    4. you can use the GPT Fdisk steps in your link to make your drive a GPT disk only. It is not enough.

    5. you will need to convert the FAT32 partition space using the following OS X Terminal

I understand that you are not able to print to your HP Deskjet Ink Advantage 2545, since your computer running the Windows Vista operating system.  I see that you did a lot of troubleshooting steps already, thanks for that! I would try a different approach, please follow the steps below:

    1. perform a clean boot: How to perform a boot in Windows

    2. now, go ahead and use the System File Checker: use the tool File Checker system to repair missing or corrupted system files

    3 uninstall/reinstall:

    1. disconnect the USB key if you use a direct connection.

    2. remove the HP software DJ 2545 uninstall from the control panel of your computers an option of the program.

    3. restart the computer.

    4. make sure that all the software DJ 2545 disappeared from the list programs, but also your HP folder listed under all programs in your Start Menu.

    5. now move forward and start to Setup the printer to a wireless network for the HP Deskjet 2540 and 2545 all-in-One Printer Series
