DeskJet F4283: uninstallL4.bat does not

Hi forum

I have a problem with my F4283 where solution Center will not open. I decided that I could just uninstall and reinstall the software, but during, uninstall Uninstall failed. With this information, I decided to reboot and try again. Same thing, uninstall failed. Then I decided that I could always try and install the software, but the installer was not as well.

Read about different issues in this forum, I saw a guide on how to uninstall by using the uninstallL4.bat file. It works either, the 'back' part of the uninstall program is displayed for 1 second and then disappears. After this popup, nothing happens.

I'm a bit lost with this error and I hope someone is able to support me.

Hello

Yes, I'm perfectly capable of performing all the tasks I want right now with the printer, but it just feels a bit wobbly to have an installation were partially the installation to fail. This is my reasoning behind wanting a complete uninstall, in order to ensure that future problems do not occur due to a failure of the installation.

Try IOIbit Uninstaller.  Make sure you perform powerful analysis to end and remove all remninants.

    Hello

I called the support in Bulgaria, but the cause has not yet been identified. :-(

  • Autoexec.bat does not run at startup.

I have a file Autoexec.bat file which works fine when I run it, but does nothing, apparently, at startup.  It has orders to clear my recent documents folder.  It worked fine when starting until I had to format my hard drive and start all over again, and as I said, it works fine when operating manually.  No idea how to do so that he can run at startup?

    Hi bbran,.

    1. your computer is running on a domain?

Autoexec.bat does not work on startup, but when the user connecting.

The first thing to test when you are having problems with MS-DOS-based programs is the Windows BACK NTVDM (Virtual Machine) subsystem. You can use the Command.com utility to test whether the NTVDM subsystem works correctly. To start Command.com, follow these steps:
    a. click the Start button and then click Run.
    (b) in the Open box, type command.com, and then click OK.

This should start a command prompt window. If this does not work, then there is a problem with the NTVDM subsystem.
For more information, see programs running under MS-DOS in Windows XP

We also recommend you to check if the program is configured to run automatically at startup.

  • ERROR! Compile in car (CBLBLD. BAT) does not exist!

    1. set up two environment variables, PS_HOME and COBROOT, on the computer where you are going to compile COBOL. (This should be your file server or a machine that has access to your file server.) You can do this from a DOS command prompt window.

    Set PS_HOME = C:\hr840
    Set COBROOT = c:\netexpress\base

    2. open a DOS commands prompt window, if you have not already, orders and access
    \Setup < PS_HOME >.

    < compilation drive > cblbld < build directory >
where < compilation > is the drive where the compilation takes place, < directory compiles > is the temp
Directory where the compilation is done

The CBLBLD. BAT file will create the directory to compile for you, if it does not already exist.

Note. Be sure to include a space between the < compilation disc > and < build directory > parameters; they are treated as two different settings within the CBLBLD. Bat batch program. Also ensure that you have write permission < compile player > and < build directory > as the compilation process will take place there.

For example, the following command will have the \src\cbl < PS_HOME > COBOL source and compiling process under c:\temp\compile:
    cblbld c: \temp\compile

  • DeskJet 3522: Black ink does not print

My HP Deskjet 3522 ceased to print anything in black.  Color printing very well.

I cleaned the printhead for 5 times, run printer many pages, test and have downloaded and run the utility HP print and scan doctor.  There are some impressions of text improved, now black in a very pale blue gray, which I think is better than nothing at all.

I read on the forum that it is a fairly frequent problem and am surprised that there is no solution provided by HP.  I understand that if you do not often print it can be some dried up ink cluttering up the printhead.  I print on a regular basis and replace my cartridges regularly.

About 2 years ago, this happened with my previous HP printer.  I replaced it with this one.  I arrived at the end of the life cycle of the printer a HP?  If so, I'm probably not inclined to get another HP, although I have always appreciated the help of HP printers.

Does anyone know a solution to this problem?

    Hi again,

It's good to hear that you use genuine HP cartridges. HP does not guarantee the reloaded cartridges or HP. And that brings me to this:

If a black cartridge ran last night, and you replace it. Do you have any questions before or after you have replaced the cartridge (or both)?

From the sounds of it, you are having problems with a new cartridge. If this is the case, you should check the warranty status. If it's a cartridge defective out of the box, it should be under warranty. To check the warranty on your ink supplies, go to hp.com/go/learnaboutsupplies , select your country/region, and then review the information of limited warranty for your supplies.

    I hope that helps!

    Hi all

during the installation of my new printer HP DESKJET INK ADVANTAGE 3525 I discovered, that the printer does not recognize the new black ink cartridge. The black cartridge, as well as the other colours, is original and it was packaged with the printer.

Thanks in advance for your help and have a nice day!

    Hello @Hugh_G,

    Welcome to the HP Forums

I'm sorry to hear that your printer does not recognize the black cartridge, and I am happy to help you solve this problem!

Are getting you any kind of error message about the cartridge? If this is the case, please follow this ink cartridge problem: "Not compatible ink cartridge" or "Ink cartridge must be replaced" message for HP Deskjet 3520 e-all-in-one and HP Deskjet Ink Advantage e-all-in-one 3520 Printer series document and, hopefully, the printer will recognize the cartridge after these steps.

Maybe that's not the question if you thinking maybe that black ink is not printing? If this is the case, please try these steps printer prints blank Page or not printing black or color ink for HP Deskjet Ink Advantage and Deskjet 3520 e-all-in-one printer series for a possible solution

I would like to know if these steps help and what happens after trying them and I hope that we can get things working for you!

  • HP Deskjet 2540: The printer does not work.

My printer does not print the page, I am sinking.  Instead it tries to download a page that I tried to download a few days ago and he has yet to recognize the page.  It was an image of the Liberty Bell, so I assumed it was copyrighted and would allow me to print and I rejected the page.  Apparently he is stuck somewhere in the printer and it does not load and therefore does not allow me to print the page that I need now.  How can I get this thing off my storage or my printer?  I watched everything I know to review and check in the printer itself.  I do not know how to remove the application printing the page because I can't find in the computer anywhere.

If you can help me, I would be very grateful

    Thank you

  • DeskJet D2330 - powered but does not print

    Hello...

My Deskjet D2330 worked fine yesterday. When I tried to print today, the green power light was turned off

I turned the main power on and outside... nothing. I have enough ink and paper.

  • DeskJet 970Cxi impressions eject does not correctly

He pushes paper most of the exit door, so that the printer considers that it has finished and starts printing the next sheet.  But sheet n ° 1 is not far enough to lie flat on the output tray, so something in the works mechanical grabs the back of it and snarls to the top of the next sheet as well.  And so on, so I have to look at the printer like a Hawk and whisk every leaf there at the right time precisely.

I hear fairly well with mechanical things and feel that it should be simple to put it right, if only I could observe.  But everything happens too fast, in more of course, it will not be printed with the cover open.  The only clue I can see is that the main action of the spin is on one side.

Everything by moving the printer a year or two before, I made the mistake of putting on his side briefly.  It is the only cause I can think of, although it doesn't seem to affect his performance (once I had cleaned the ink off everything!).  Recently started paper supply problem.

I bought a new printer to use when I need high quality images, as I work with them and need the settings that the printer Deskjet does not more (as I now have Vista).  But I do a lot of writing too and hoped to operate using my Deskjet nice, reliable as a workhorse for the text (and images of basic, every day).
