desperately need the cradle or the USB connector

I have an old Palm - a treo 700 p - it still works very well, but something is wrong with the cradle and I can't sync.

I live in fear every day that your handheld will die and hurt to be left without any of my information.

looking for info on where I can get my hands on a cradle for a pc running windows xp?

or a usb key with a connection that corresponds to the Palm?

I tried all computer stores, no one wears anything.

fear of online ordering from the place that I don't know that I can trust.

any help or info is greatly appreciated.

Thank you!

Thanks for the quick response - after that I posted I did a little more research online and find the sync cable.

in fact, I found on amazon, com and shipping, paid less than $6.00 from a merchant of 5 stars.

your help is greatly appreciated!

You will need installed USB 3.0 drivers on the manufacturer's Web site work with the USB 3.0 flash drives.

Try the methods provided below and see if they help to resolve the issue.

    Method 1:

This problem occurs because the USB 3.0 device is not completely inserted in the port.

The USB 3.0 supports the devices USB 1.0, 2.0 and 3.0. The first layer of pins inside the USB connector are for USB 1.0 and 2.0 ports. The second layer of pins inside the USB connector is USB 3.0 ports. Therefore, to resolve this problem, make sure that the USB 3.0 device is inserted in the port.

  • Keyboard-mouse 5188-6816: is a replacement USB connector for a keyboard 5188-6816

Keyboard-mouse 5188-6816 has stopped working.  The "connect" to connect the keyboard and mouse to the USB connector no light no more on the USB connector.  Technical support said I had to replace the USB connector.  Are offered through HP?  How can I find one?

Your 2.4 GHz wireless keyboard mouse combo is not delivered with a usb cable.

It uses a usb dongle which connects the keyboard and mouse to the PC destop wireless.

You can't buy a replacement dongle.

A wireless dongle is coded permanently to the pairs of keyboards and mouse at the plant combos.

Your technical support must have told you that.

If your keyboard was bluetooth it would have been a different story and a generic Bluetooth dongle replacement could have been bought.

How long does it take and have you checked if the number is displayed using different USB ports and different flash memory sticks?

  • Windows 7 does not allow you to copy tapes through the USB to the computer... need help!

I bought a cassette/converter of Grace Digital Audio Player to convert cassettes to MP3 files on my computer (HP laptop Pavilion DV 7/Windows 7 64-bit). Directions say to just plug into the USB port, press Play on the machine and press Record on the Audacity software.  It copies the music... and all the other noises in the room.  I tried to disable the microphone from the computer... but then it won't copy the music at all.  I called the manufacturer of the product through and they say it's a Windows 7 problem.  So, how can this work?  Thanks for any help you can give me...

    Hello

    Follow the steps mentioned below.

    (a) plug one end of the audio cable into the headset of your cassette player or 'Line' jack out and the other end into 'Micro' of the sound card on your computer or "Line in" jack. To avoid any possible damage sound card, use if possible 'in Line' decision and not the "Microphone".

    (b) launch Audacity and change the type of entry 'in Line' or 'Microphone', depending on what jack of the soundcard you are using. This indicates Audacity to record everything he "hears" the map of sound input. To do this, open the menu editing, then Preferences. You will then see a screen that should do what you need: use the "Device" selector to choose your entry (sound card, microphone, audio jack, etc.) and change the 'Channels' selector to choose between mono or stereo recording.

    (c) press the record button on Audacity, then press play on your cassette (red circle).

    (d) press the stop (yellow square) on Audacity when the tape is finished playing.

    (e) use the menu option "file-> export to WAV" to save your record. The WAV file can be saved on your computer, converted to MP3 or burned on a CD. Get fancy with the Audacity audio editor features: you can cut, paste and add effects easily.

You must save a clip of ten seconds at first, so that you can play it will immediately return in Audacity (green triangle button) and make sure your volume levels is good. If the audio recorded is too strong or too static, decrease the volume of your cassette player.

  • How much GB needed the PEN USB for 'Back up and recovery' flash on the new Windows 8/Dell 3521

    1. I'm about to buy a new Windows 8/Dell and I need the answer above to implement.

    2. I have documents and photos on a separate USB Flash Pen, I want to copy in Windows 8/Dell. How it works, please?

    3. If I opt to connect again Windows 8 with the Local account, what applications will be excluded.  I have a microsoft also account, but I prefer the Local account sign in to the.

    4. stupid question, but not Windows 8 come with folders "My Documents" and "My Photos" already installed or do I need to create those myself?  I looked at several tutorials, but I'm not clear on this issue.

    Hello.

    1. According to the website of "create a recovery USB disk", it is usually between 3 and 6 GB, 8 GB USB key should be a lot.
    2. To copy your photos and documents to Windows 8 of your flash pen, simply plug the flash drive, open Explorer (shortcut +E) and drag - move the files in the folders of photos and documents.
    3. With the help of a local account prevents you from using OneDrive for backups of files online and save your settings.  I recommend creating a local account first, and then 'connect' to a Microsoft account.  In this way, you get all the benefits of an online account without sacrificing your local account, and you can always disconnect it later without affecting your local account.
    4. Yes it is safe.  These folders are in the same place as usual (under C:\Users\YourName), but they appear also as shortcuts when you open Explorer, to facilitate access.
