Detect generic headphones

Hello

When I plug the headphones Sony, my Z3 detects the model and automatically sets in the audio settings. Large.

The problem is that if I plug other Sony headphones then the setting does not change the credits automatically.

I so need to go and turn it manually every time (because I use a set of Sony and another a 3 rd part).

It would be really great if this info would reach the devs, because it sounds like a trivial thing to fix... If you don't detect helmet, simply the setting on "generic".

I got more information on this subject and I am afraid that the phone will not be able to automatically detect the different helmets. He'll do that with no helmets. The only time where it can detect automatically is when a headset 5-pole is connected. Then, it will be set automatically MDR-NC31E/NC31EM.

    Hey

My Yoga pro 2 will come I am satisfied, if not delightfully has a problem with the audio input jack. At startup, it falsely detects that headphones are plugged, which leaves me with no sound in speakers. I tried to update drivers more recent, but it does not help.

I'll be grateful for any help, thank you

To me it looks more like the anomaly of the electric circuit as a driver problem. I believe that this case should enter through the standard product warranty if your Yoga 2 is still covered by a warranty.

If the test shows that they are detected then not detected, you'd better call your operator to this topic.  We can help you with any problem of software here but that sounds very related to the material for me.

If you decide to follow my advice, don't forget to backup your data via Desktop Manager before taking it.

  • Inspiron 15 do not detect the headphones into the audio input jack

Yes, I checked to make sure it wasn't the atria. I used 2 different pairs, each of the works fine on my other computer.

My laptop has been recently upgraded to Windows 8.1. Since then, the audio Jack was my ear has been detected. This has not happened before.

Also, I know there are a lot of laptops with 'Inspiron 15', but I don't know exactly which one it is. If you could tell me how to find it, I'll do.

If you want to try the native audio driver, the instructions are through this link above. If you want to see if it is better to have a driver directly from Realtek:

Go to the selection of downloads Realtek page. http://www.Realtek.com.tw/downloads/
On the page, click on 'High Definition Audio Codecs.
Check "I accept", and then click "next".
In the column named "Description" you can find the file named README. Who has the instructions for the installation or update.
In the column named "Download", click one of the server names to download the Readme.
Return to the column named "Description" and select your operating system (and if it is 32 bit or 64 bit) at the top of page 2 choice in the list.
In the column named "Download", click one of the server names to download the driver.

The current version on the Realtek site is R2.75. Don't know how that one differs from Dell.

  • Headphone Sockets does not detect not not my headphones

I have an Alienware 15 for about 2 months now and I decided to try my audio out jacks. To put in my headphones (which leans on my cell phone), my laptop does not detect the headphones. Tried another type of headphones, but ended up with the same result. Help, please.

Is taking a plug of headphones or a headset (with microphone) Jack?

    Are you quilting in game?

Contact-rings are different between the two. Just because your phone accepts both types, do not assume that the laptop is also. There are various after-market converters available (analog and digital/usb).

  • How to disable the plug headphones on Satellite C660 - 1 7?

Today o broke my headphone jack in taking my laptop and now it is stuck in my taking of the laptop. My laptop says now that I have a helmet and don't let me use the speakers. How can I disable the socket on my laptop so I can use the speakers?

    Sorry for my English.

    Hello

Your machine should have the same sound chip as mine Realtek and I also believe that you are using Windows 7.
I tried to check all the settings on my DD Realtek audio Manager and sound properties, but I wasn't able to find a solution to enable the speakers if jack is in use.
Problem is that audio input is placed little switch that detects the headphones or external speakers are connected and laptop's speakers will be disabled automatically.

Maybe you can use a temporary solution and use USB audio Converter that will give you a new headset and microphone via USB.

In my opinion, you should find a way to fix the audio jack.

  • Bluetooth connection with headphones

    Hi forum,

I bought the receiver rx2 Hama Bluetooth to connect my Portege via Bluetooth
with my home entertainment system. It works very well. Toshiba-bluetooth-stack handles
the device as a Bluetooth headset. The only thing I miss, is an auto-connect-option.
Now I also have to connect manually each time: right-click on the icon of the power off
and the "connect". My cell phone will connect automatically to every time.

Someone has an idea, how can I achieve the automatic connection with my "helmet"?

    Thank you a

    Best regards

    Hello

The same situation here, but I can leave with it. Mobile phone automatically detects the headphones, but by usage with my Tecra I have to activate manually whenever I want to use. As you know you can use many various BT devices with your laptop and I n don't know if he has a sense for each to connect after starting the laptop. I have only one device of BT and did not attempt to check if more than one device can be connected at the same time. If you know more about it please let know.

I'm really interested on this subject and maybe someone of the explanations on this subject.

  • Scientific Linux 7.2 on P510 - no audio for headphones?

It's weird, the OS seems to know that there is a (analog) front headphone port and a rear line output port and can detect my headphones plugged either. It shows analog out as a device to spread to and shows audio of, say, VLC go. I can put it out by default. I can adjust the settings and 100% flight, no mute. The headphones worked well with my previous workplace S30. In the past play with ALSAMixer or the restart would "solve" this problem and I would get audio, but nothing works for me today. Any ideas?

Based on your "alsamixer" screenshot, your devices are dumb.

Select the "Master" volume bar and am press the on the keyboard to switch between 'mute' and 'enable '.

Select the volume bar "Helmet" and am press the on the keyboard to switch between 'mute' and 'enable '.

I would like to know if it works.

  • Detection of T - 500 helmet

Hi all - sorry if this is a stupid question, but I can't find an answer anywhere.

Just got a new T-500 set up for my daughter's graduation gift.  We discovered the helmet not put mute the speakers and could not find the usual box anywhere in the sound properties.

    Vista 64-bit

Sound detects the headphones - it appears correctly in the sound Properties dialog box when they are connected, but there is no change in the speaker output.

    Any suggestions?

    Thank you!

Thanks - it was actually setting "classic."

The problem was that the connexant driver was not installed.  Thank you!

  • Drivers works fine, but I cannot listen to or hear any sound (when starting, I hear windows start sound / tone)

I ve realtek speakers. The symbol of the speaker does not have a cross. I hear the windows starting sound/music, when starting. I looked in the playback options and drivers who are working very well. Only problem is the computer is not detecting my headphones or speakers, I m using Windows Vista Home premium. My speakers are on and was running at full volume, but when I go in the playback devices it says that speakers are not connected. The drivers work well, but I cannot listen to or hear any sound.
    Please help me about this

Somehow, the speaker jack is disabled on your machine.

    1. Open its in control Panel.
    2. On the read tab, highlight the icon speakers
    3. Click on the Properties button
    4. The box of the use of the device can be set to "disable this device.

Otherwise, I disable it, apply and activate, apply the setting.

  • Sound under Windows 7 problem

Hi, the sound in my Vaio VPCEB44EN sometimes does not work. He works for, as one day and then puts muted for about a month. http://goo.GL/pvX4jK is the icon that is displayed. Convenience store can not detect the problem. The feature is erratic. The last time he came, I accidentally put the computer to sleep mode, and when it restarted, the noise was gone. Can someone please help me solve this problem? It is a base of Windows 7 and I have not updated to W10, ruling out the possibility of a problem with the OS. It does not detect either headphones or earphones... There is no external damage to the laptop, but I still don't know if it's a software or a hardware problem.

  • Cisco IP Communicator with Bluetooth headset has fast battery drain

Hi all, hoping to exploit the collective knowledge here to find an answer to a question that we live with bluetooth headsets with quickly draining the battery.

Environment: We run Cisco UCM 10.5 and have some users with Cisco IP Communicator 8.6.4.  Computers are a mixture of office/computer laptop with Windows 7 32/64 - bit.  Most are bluetooth headsets, Plantronics Voyager legend UC with some older models of Plantronics.  These use a bluetooth dongle separated with flag State.  This helmet is announced as having 7 hours of talk time and 10 days standby.  Plantronics software is set to Audio enabled detection and headphones to maintain for PC connection as it is disabled.

Behaviour: Normally, when the bluetooth headset is not in use, the light blue and the helmet is considered as standby.  When a call, the indicator light is a slow blink showing the helmet is in active use.

Question: When not in a call, or when the CPIC is even launched, the indicator light is a blue blicking and users can hear 'air' in the helmet, even when not off the hook.  This led the helmet to be in Active mode and thus draining the battery at a higher rate.  Even if option software Plantronics headphones maintain link PC is off, it acts as if it was.  The only way that we were able to work around this problem is in the Plantronics software to disable Audio detection enabled.  This leads to the user needing to press the answer on the headset button and the answer button on the software phone which isn't ideal if users are up and on.

So having said all this, is there a resolution to allow the headset to use with CPIC without the helmet being still active?

It comes to video over IP, please move to the appropriate area.
