Developed by default SharePoint Workspace files

Hello

In the last months I searched and read many articles on the web related to the display of folders in MS SharePoint Workspace that opens all files in the default expanded view. All items and responses of the MS self-help groups conclude with the same: folder view "opens with all records enhanced by design", and "there is nothing we can do with this at this point."

For those of us who are committed to use the workspace despite that flaw, could you please comment on the justification for why Microsoft has decided not to seek a solution to this obvious problem?

Best regards
TerjeL

  • Documentation of the Workspace files

I would appreciate some recommendations to get instructions on creating files in the workspace. I watched the TS Ch 2 reference manual, but there isn't much there.

For example, I would like to know how to add data files, ini files, etc.

What all is in a workspace file? I'm looking at the system that I inherited. Under code modules, it lists a few files sequence and beneath them a few screws and a VI that is not under a file of sequence but there are hundreds of screws in this project.

    Thank you

    JVH

I do not have here TestStand and the exact process escapes me, but in the workspace window, you can right-click and get a menu to add folders, files, etc.

  • workspace files recorded

    Illustrator CS4

I am sharing my work between 2 computers...

I have several workspaces I use and should always be everything again.   I'm trying to move my workspaces to another computer.   I looked in the Presets folder / workspaces, but he only had the default workspaces.  Where are those I've saved?

Chris, I'm bi-platform here but still HAVE 12 (CS2). For this version of the victory, folder that contains custom workspaces would be at C:\Documents and Settings\ {username} \Application Data\Adobe\Adobe Illustrator CS2 Settings\Workspaces.

This assumes, of course, "c:" is your boot drive - that is to say, one on which your operating system is installed.

A person with AI 14 Win will have to jump in there and confirm the location. In the meantime, you should be able to locate the file by performing a search using one of the names that you have assigned to your saved workspaces. Make sure that you allow your research reveal the system and hidden files and folders.

  • Table of contents by default image compiled file

X 5, generation of HTML using HTML HR, help. The compiled version does not open to the table of contents. How to set the table of contents to appear as default frame in the compiled version? Right now, the compiled file opens on the Index tab.

    Hi all

Tina, if you're simply by double-clicking on the CHM file to open it, note that it will simply open any tab was visible when you closed last. Of course, you can configure the table of contents to be the default tab, but it will work only the first time that the user opens it. If your user name switches to the Index and has this visible tab and closes the CHM, it will open to the Index when they open it again.

If your CHM file is connected to an application, your application developer can open in a mode where the table of contents is this little matter how it was last closed.

    Hope this helps... Rick

  • Where can I change the default directory for file printing?

Currently, the file is placed in the Mozilla Firefox directory under program files directory. I want to change the default directory.

    Hi Tai4firefox, you wrote:

This is not resolved because I do not know where to change the default directory.

You can't do that without changing the code of Firefox program. Then you should consider other options.

  • How to set the default "Save as" file?

Since I started to use El Capitan, I noticed that when I record a new file, the default location that is displayed is the last folder I saved to.  However, I'd have rather be level folder (or more) above because I often switch between different subfolders.  Is it possible that I can set a preference to see where the default "save under" destination happens?

As long as I can remember, it is the behavior of OSX. I do not think it is possible unless there is a notch in the Terminal. However, some programs always comes back by default in a certain folder like Documents or photos etc.

  • By default, Finder bad file & size

I have problems with the Finder in the Dock not open the correct file and remembering its size. I hope someone can help with this problem. Here's what happens:

When I open the Finder (click) the icon in the Dock, it's always default to opening a file it should not (Scrivener). It should open all my files as shown in Finder preferences. In addition, the window is Itsy-Bitsy, and I have to drag the corner to enlarge each time that dragged size does not save for the next time the window is opened. However... If I right click on the same icon in the Dock, then select new Finder window, Finder opens in the window of the correct size and all my files. Finder is also open to its appropriate size and the folder, if I select in Finder > Go toolbar. Shift + Cmd + F opens the size and the appropriate folder.

    Thanks for your help.

Go to your 'Go' menu Finder, hold the option key and choose the library. Then go to the preferences and trash folder these files:

    com Apple.Finder.plist

    com Apple.sidebarlists.plist

Then, restart or log in and again.

(You will have to reset some finder prefs the way you like them).

  • An application using LabVIEW as a program by default to open files

Google returned nothing useful on it.  I want to use a LabVIEW application built to open files of data from the Windows desktop. It is easy to modify the Windows registry to set the application as default - but I do not know how to define the event in LabVIEW to open the file.  A bibliography?

    See this - http://labviewwiki.org/Associate_your_own_file_type_with_Windows_Explorer

I think remember me that people used to say that it has stopped working and that there is a work around, you may need to do some research more on this event.

  • FileSelectPopup not recognize the default parameter specification file

I actually had this feature in my program for years and it has been working well.  I create a default filename as a variable of string, "filename.ext", no path.  I've recently updated to CVI 2010 but I have also some work in another module and then cleaned it and several other modules before re - compile.  I noticed that when I went then to use the program, the default file name does not appear in the pop-up window.

  • I need to restore the security permissions default to all files on drive c of a Windows XP workstation

I changed some security permissions on all of the C: drive, which is my boot drive system on a network under Windows XP Pro SP3 (32 bit) desktop.  I had shared the drive several years ago, and I believe that the problems were built from the other. I had to rebuild my server and choose a different domain name and connected workstations to the domain. I would like to restore default settings for the C: drive of the workstation (not shared?, permissions and security on all files of Windows and the default user restored to the default values.)

Anyone know where I can find a list of the rights and permissions for each of the folders and subfolders on the WIndows system drive? Or is there an automated routine that will restore the default permission?

  • Default program - ZIP files

I have a weird problem with Vista. Adobe Reader has been changed somehow, the default program for .zip files. I don't know how it happened, but I don't seem to be able to cancel it. The only thing I can do is to change the default program to something else, but I do not see all of the options for "unassociating" or run. Any ideas how to solve this problem? Thanks in advance.

    Download the fix here:

For Windows Vista file association problems
    http://www.Winhelponline.com/articles/105/1/file-association-fixes-for-Windows-Vista.html

Right-click on the ZIP file, Save Target as..., download the REG file to the desktop. Right click on the REG file and choose merge (allow). Note that you must be an administrator to apply these fixes.
