Device Atheros Bluetooth on Windows 7 problem

I have Acer Aspire One D255E, and the sticker at the bottom of him. said that its Aspire one D255E-13DQkk. I am facing difficulties with the use of bluetooth radio. I downloaded Atheros Bluetooth Driver/16.0315.101.0/106.0 MB/2010/07/30 and Driver Atheros Bluetooth (3.0) (AR3011)/6.04.004.1/104.3 MB/2010/10/19 of your Web site, but none of them does. The system install Bluetooth suite properly and icon invented the taskbar, but I'm unable to turn on bluetooth. I also tried key Fn + F3, but it gives only the option of Wifi. Previously, I used the bluetooth on Windows 7 Starter but its does not work on Windows XP. I pressed the Fn key and tapped F3 key, but it don't did me not an option to activate the blue tooth. Rather windows ask me that new hardware is detected, and then I gave him the place where lay the blue tooth driver. It then installs the blue tooth and I managed to use the blue tooth finally. But today when I turned on my laptop the State even where it was. I thought I have to press Fn + F3 key to activate blue tooth, but after several listenings, I did not do anything. I have been frustrated by these things and I decided to install Windows 7 Professional. I managed to install Windows 7 Professional without effort. But the bluetooth problem is still there. I tried to press ALT + F3 and Fn + F3 but nothing happen. Here, I would like to point out one thing that when I bought this laptop, it gives me an option to toggle Wifi and blue tooth in a popup window (I think Launch Manager was the program) but now when I am pressing Fn + F3 button it only toggle Wifi no popup to toggle wifi and blue tooth. I installed Launch Manager even then it only gives me option to toggle wifi and blue tooth. I installed Windows 7 Professional as a clean install. I rebooted my system in Mode safe and managed to install blue tooth. Then I closed the laptop yesterday, but when I introduced it, today, it does not show the Blue Tooth device in Device Manager. I tried to hit the F3 key while Fn key, but it only turning device off the Wifi, it does not give me an option for blue tooth. Please advice what step should I take to install all drivers of my laptop after doing a clean install of Windows 7 Professional? Please note that I tried to re - install Launch Manager but it gives me no option to turn on/off blue tooth they way there earlier when I bought this laptop. Let me say once more that when I bought this laptop all drivers and software have been installed by default and when I pressed Fn + F3 button it opens a new window, and ask to toggle wifi and blue tooth.

I managed to install blue tooth and it worked quite well, but today when I turned on my laptop there is no blue tooth installed. I don't know that after installing the Bluetooth properly (and also used after installation) why Windows shows no device Bluetooth in device manager when I turn on my laptop after a while.

Hello

As you have already tried to install the drivers and also tried reinstalling the entire operating system, the issue seems not to be linked with Windows according to my research, it is possible that the problem is related with the built-in Bluetooth provided by the OEM (Original Equipment manufacturer).

Also the launch of the program manager is a program distributed by Acer which is OEM.

So to get help on this issue I suggest you to contact the Support of Acer. The link to the Acer support is provided below.

    Please help me

    -Nicolas

After spending an obscene amount of time researching this Bluetooth stupid nonsense this week, I finally opted for a solution.

This is how to solve the "Bluetooth peripheral device is not a driver:
I use the following materials in a dozen different tests:
-Only for Broadcom based on USB from Belkin and Targus dongles
-Windows 7 Professional 64-bit on four different computers
-4 different Bluetooth headphones: Plantronics One, a matrix and two Motorola
-Bluetooth file transfer wasn't of interest, but I tested with two different phones
This guide will be useful for those with similar... hardware configurations and for those who have tried all the other nonsense without result.  Especially that many times repeated "Just install Windows Mobile Device Manager."
    -- -- --
Step 1: Ignore 99% of you think that you have learned about this problem.
It will be * probably * boil down to a missing COM port.
Step 2: Certainly ignore the bit about installing the Windows Mobile Device Center
(Unless you have a Windows Mobile-based phone and/or have another use for a flavor of Windows 7 of Activesync).
Step 3: Stop looking for a driver for something called a "Bluetooth device device.
There is no such thing. If you look at the Bluetooth installation take place, you will notice that all the components of the Bluetooth technology initially as "Bluetooth Peripheral Device" and then once Windows ID each element, the appropriate driver is installed and the name replaces "Bluetooth Peripheral Device" to something like "Hands-free Bluetooth Audio" or "Bluetooth Remote Control" etc.
    -- -- --
Unfortunately, most of the people reading this will have tried one or more of the following:
1.) install this stupid Windows Mobile Device Center
2.) install any number of drivers Bluetooth who-knows-what from who knows where
(3.) running all kinds of utilities third driver
4.), forcing several facilities from pilot to operate in Win98, XP or Vista
    5.) sacrificing countless animals
The end result is a plethora of useless software and/or driver and/or updates... facilities and some dead animals.
    -- -- --
Instead, here is the solution.  I tested it with three different USB Dongles (2 Belkin and Targus 1) and on four different machines: HP, Sony, Toshiba and another HP. Two were newly not framed with Windows 7 Professional 64-bit and two have been upgraded to Vista to the same OS.
With each machine, I plugged the following helmets: a legend of Voyager from Plantronics, Motorola S9, Motorola S805 and matrix AF62 and a Samsung S3 and an HTC Android.
So I guess it's fair to say that it is a solution for one of these dongles... but in reality, most based on Broadcomm USB dongles is affected. I ran across these stages in four different boxes after checking that the beast ""Bluetooth peripheral device is not a driver " "
    appeared during installation.
1.) If you did any of the unsuccessful steps mentioned above, enter the control panel and delete everything that you have installed.  Kill all the entries Broadcomm or Widcomm bluetooth. Delete all 3 rd-party driver maintenance apps. Restart a machine clean.
2.) locate and install a Broadcomm 6.0.1.6300 OR 6.2.1.500 driver.  Either one works, but the last (most recent) has much better management tools for Bluetooth device
.  I tested the installation of separately and also starting with 6.0.1.6300 and then upgrade to 6.2.1.500.
(Ignore the stupid Updater Driver Broadcomm they grow to their website - it is useless for the majority of us out there.)
(3.) that you install one of the above, you will see a notification regarding the installation of the various components.  Click this pop-up window and watch the progress.  You will see that each "Bluetooth Peripheral Device" Gets a new name, as the related driver is installed.  In my tens + tests, each & every item at this point got the green check mark of success.
4.) now attempt to pair the device of your choice
.  IF only the manufacturer provides separate drivers, do not install them again, regardless of their instructions.  See how Windows gets its own.
5.) as soon as the match starts, you will see more notifications for individual driver components.  Click on one of them and observe a similar progression... Except that you will have a ""Bluetooth Device device ' with the dreaded Red X and the complaint that no driver was found. "
    6.) do not despair
! This happens the first time connect you a new Bluetooth device.
7.) wait for the installation to complete.  Despite the dialog box display the list of components of Bluetooth with a red X, you probably have another window saying that the perfectly paired Bluetooth device.  But you and I know that he didn't. Confidently click to close this dialog box.
8.) open Device Manager (via the Control Panel, the computer properties), and you will discover that cursed Device Bluetooth that is sitting there in the Middle under 'other devices '.
9.) right click on the Bluetooth device with the yellow exclamation mark under 'Other devices' and select 'Update Driver' - then:
    Click on:
a.) browse my computer for driver software
    (b) let me pick from a list of device on my computer drivers
(c.) in the common hardware types list, select:
    --->>> Ports (COM & LPT)<>
d.) d.) under manufacturer, select Microsoft
e.) depending on the model, choose "Standard Serial over Bluetooth Link" & click "next".
f.) when you are prompted with the update driver warning, click 'yes '.
g.) with joy to read the message that "Windows has updated the driver software.
(h.) read for pleasure, and then click "close".
(i.) to confirm that this disorder is really fixed (assuming compatible devices, etc.) Right-click on the Bluetooth device and choose "Troubleshoot" - that there should be no reported problem.
10.) you shouldn't have to restart, but you POURRIEZ have need spend the power of your Bluetooth device Off & turn it on again to let it reconnect again (just NOT re-pair... re - connect). About a dozen tests, I had only to do once, and it was with a 3-year-old-Bluetooth headset.
    -- -- --
I have argued my way in the solution by installing on a Vista machine where everything worked perfectly.  After the installation of various devices under Vista, I spotted the COM Port in Device Manager - which was the only element that did not appear in the installation of Windows 7... but instead remained at the dreaded 'Bluetooth Device device".
Windows Mobile thing worked only for some people because it was fundamentally address a bunch of different physical possibilities... but for those who did not have success, it's because Windows Mobile Kitchen Sink approach did not include the driver Port com
    -- -- --
Voluntarily, I don't understand not all links to the drivers as one.) change links and b.) I don't want to be responsible for some knucklehead packaging site a Trojan horse in the zip file.  Let Google your friend and your instinct be your guide.
I will say that I used a 6.0.1.6300 directly from the Belkin site and a 6.2.1.500 directly from the site of the bridge.
I hope this saves people a lot of frustration.

  • Beats Studio Wireless - Device missing Bluetooth for Windows 7 64 bit OS drivers

I have a HP Elitebook 9480 m notebook, running Windows 7 Enterprise 64-bit OS.  I just got this machine and my previous machine was running Windows 7 32 bit OS.

My problem is that when I go to install my wireless on the Elitebook Beats Studio headphone, it does not find the Bluetooth device drivers.

I called Apple support (now support produced Beats), contacted HP support and visited with my COMPUTER service company hoping to copy the drivers through my old machine (helmet worked on an old machine) and no solution has been found.

Copy the drivers through did not work as my machine would not find them when we asked it to look for them.  We have, however, learned that the driver that was used on my old machine was a Microsoft driver, specifically the pilot called btwavdt.sys.

I need an updated version of this driver, or the equivalent of 64-bit if it is not already compatible with 64 bit computers, in order to properly install my helmet.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  • Still problems with the adapter Bluetooth Toshiba Windows 7

    Hey there, it's me again.

I am referring to my 'Problem Bluetooth on Windows 7' subject:

I thought after the solution of bluecat that my problem has been resolved. But it isn't really.

After you install the Windows fix, it worked just a short time. But now the problem is the same.

When I remove the Toshiba Bluetooth Stack and try to work with Manager Bluetooth of Windows, I see that the Bluetooth icon is to come and one to go on the taskbar. In Device Manager, I said Windows, that it is not closed the device to save power. But I think that the device is on and walk and stop...

I really absolutely have no idea what is the problem, but I get terribly angry.

    Details:
    Windows 7
Dell Wireless Bluetooth internal adapter 350 (but it is manufactured by Toshiba)
Experienced pilots: Vista Pack of profile of the Dell homepage (no battery installed, driver only) / Toshiba Bluetooth Stack (the latest version)

    This is the old thread:

    Hi all

Just as I installed Windows 7, my keyboard and Bluetooth mouse do not work very well.

I use the Dell Wireless 350 Bluetooth internal adapter, Toshiba Bluetooth Stack 8.00.02 and the keyboard and mouse Logitech MX1000.

To connect the devices on my computer, I first have to disconnect the Bluetooth adapter by pressing Fn + F2 on my Dell i9400, after re-login I can search and connect devices correctly. They work fine as long as the laptop is running.

After restarting the laptop, devices no longer work. They are still in the known, but not connected Bluetooth stack. That's why I have to unplug the adapter Bluetooth, another time and reconnect in order to connect the two devices.

I first thought, it's a Windows problem. I thought that Windows is able to ask the adapter to save power. But when I go to Device Manager, there is no box for this option, as known from other devices (Te USB Ports). If this isn't the problem. I think the problem is something else, maybe performed by the Bluetooth stack.

Windows XP it worked perfectly. I used the same hardware and also the battery Bluetooth Toshiba (uploaded on the homepage of Dell).

    Someone at - it ideas?

    Thank you!

    Daevu

    Hey there

Yesterday I did Format C: and installed Windows 7 news.

I do not have a bluetooth driver for my Dell Wireless 350 Bluetooth adapt (made by Toshiba).

And now: the mouse and the keyboard work. I even do not see anywhere in my system, but they work.

There is no bluetooth adapter in my device manager and I had do not connect the keyboard and mouse with my computer. She simply do nothing.

    I do not understand this...

    What is a backup connection?

    What I tried:
-> Installation more recent Bluetooth Stack from Toshiba. Problem in the above message. I also installed the MS Hotfix. The same problem.

-> Installed "Vista profile Pack" on the home page of Dell, recommended for my laptop and Windows Vista. There is no battery installed. So I had to connect the mouse and keyboard via the Windows Bluetooth Manager. But the adapter was performed on and off windows, the icon in the task bar came and went and came and went. Connection is good, 1 minute then a few seconds. Not possible to work with the mouse.

And now, without having to install a driver, it works. Am I stupid?

  • Synchronization problems Blackberry Bold 9700 with Bluetooth of Windows 7 drivers Sony Vaio SZ series

I have recently upgraded to Windows 7 with a clean reinstall on my laptop Sony VAIO VGN-SZ470N. Full specifications can be seen here: http://www.sonystyle.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?catalogId=10551&storeId=10151&langId=-1&kw=vgn-sz470n/c&lp=8198552921665095013&productId=8198552921665095013#footNotes

My goal: to sync my new Blackberry Bold 9700 wireless via bluetooth using the built-in radio. Many people have had problems with this and the forums are littered with solutions that have worked for others, but I'm having no luck.

So-called: Device Manager software Blackberry won't recognize devices that are managed by Windows Native Bluetooth stack.

    What I did:

Windows will automatically detect my bluetooth radio and installs the "Bluetooth USB Controller (ALPS/UGPZ6)" (hardware ID: USB\VID_044E & PID_300D & REV_1915, USB\VID_044E & PID_300D) driver. With this driver, I can go to the "add a device" with my phone in discovery mode, and the computer will not conclude it.

If I go in ' control panel-> add devices ", the Add Device Wizard window will tell me it's looking two detectable Bluetooth devices found in the range. I went into control panel of-> see devices-> UGX (which resembles a bluetooth adapter bit) and there was no "bluetooth settings option when I would right click."

After reading on the Blackberry forums that the BB only synchronizes with the Bluetooth of Windows stack, I updated my driver ALPS/UGPZ6 to "generic bluetooth adapter. The selection of this driver also installs driver for "Microsoft Bluetooth Enumerator. It also adds the bluetooth icon in the lower bar of good start near the time and date. I can now go to 'Add a device' and it will show my BB 9700. When I connect, matching Assistant is displayed on my phone and in windows. I enter a code on my blackberry and enter a code in the wizard windows. Both devices and then tell me that pairing has been successful. However, the two machines are.

Once the BB is paired, tent windows install the drivers of the two newly discovered devices, then gives me an error and States that the drivers cannot be installed. It is said that it is impossible to install two drives, both devices are listed in the device as "Bluetooth Peripheral Device" Manager (Hardware ID BTHENUM\ {426c6163-6b42-6572-7279-44736b746f70} _LOCALMFG & 000D).

In "devices and printers > Bluetooth' BB 9700 is now listed with a status of 'troubleshooting needs'." Although the devices are paired, the BB will ever show a status of connected, rather it will continue to just try to connect every two minutes or more. I can connect to my friends MacBook, but I have no idea how to test the fact that the connection works. I also noticed that in the screen 'Add features' phone bluetooth of my roommate. So, I looked for ways to resolve the missing drivers.

I found three solutions supposed for the driver installation error which has not WORKED for me.

    (1) the first is to right click on the two strangers 'Bluetooth' devices in Device Manager and updated the driver in both cases to "RIM Virtual Serial V2". When you try to implement this solution, the status "needs Troubleshooting" will disappear, but blackberry Device Manager will not find the BB 9700 to add for bluetooth sync. Nothing else seems to change. Complete instructions for this solution have been listed here: http://supportforums.blackberry.com/t5/BlackBerry-Pearl-BlackBerry-8100/Need-Bluetooth-Peripheral-Device-driver-to-connect-to-8120/m-p/263541

The other way, I tried to fix the driver error problem was to remove all the listed drivers and reinstall the generic Bluetooth USB controller and the enumerator. Then I went and downloaded the Windows Mobile Device Center Driver Upgrade. For the two unknown devices labeled "Bluetooth Peripheral Device", I chose the Bluetooth radio driver > Microsoft Corporation > peripheral support Windows Mobile.  Once again, the status in devices and printers troubleshooting message > Bluetooth devices disappear, but still the Blackberry device manager can't find the phone. I found the original steps for this here: http://www.computers.nepalesemap.com/index.php?topic=3.0

    (3) supposed to be the reason why the blackberry will not sync with the ALPS driver installation is because the windows bluetooth stack does recognize it not as compatible. So I uninstall the Bluetooth devices and blackberry. I restarted and the computer reinstalls the driver ALPS.

I found a solution which says to edit the c:\windows\inf\bth.inf file and add the hardware ID that is listed in the device under the ALPS HardwareID driver manager. I have add the ID of the hardware to the list of devices, but the bluetooth enumerator installs ever, and I can't access the Bluetooth settings.

Does anyone else have this problem? Can anyone help!

    Hi Cptnnemo,

How do you close the computer, you have your Blackberry?  As with any Bluetooth, the device must be 3-4 FEET away from being discovered.  Please follow the instructions on the MSFT made, then try to keep your 3-4 feet away and try the discovery mode.
