DFM.log grows up to 3 Giga in 3 weeks

Hello

IM using cisco works on a windows server system every 3 or 4 weeks my backup fails due to "no disk space.

Looking for the reason why I found that DFM.log is too large. After deleting this file, the backup will run propperly.

Remove this file should stop/start crmdmgtd.

Looking in DFM.log shows the number of output lines from discovery and I guess that's the output of a command to debug.

in DFM > configuration > configuration of logging logging level is not defined.

Months ago I had a problem with DFM and got help from Cisco by an opend case. I remember during the work for

this case, I was tasked to set up a few commands such as:

If DFM dmctl put REAL ICF_TopologgyManager:ICF - TopologgyManager:DebugEnebled

Maybe I need to invert the controls, but you are not able to use orders dmctl.

Can you elaborate on what you mean by "you couldn't use dmctl commands?

Could not execute the following command for reverse debugging?

    The default (and the recommended level for normal use) are 'The Information' this should provide enough information for general use.  This can be easily configured on the vSphere client (Menu Administration > vCenter Server Settings... > Logging Options) and configures the appropriate vpdx.cfg file.

    As you say, the maxFileNum and maxFileSize control the number and size of the stored log files (once reached the oldest maxFileNum is removed) and until now, I know this applies to only the files vpxd*.log.

    Re the mentioned services manager, they are referring to the tool of Windows Service Manager by default, services.msc.  Click Start > run and type services.msc and click ok to open it or just use the GPMC to computer... from here, you can restart the services of VMware vCenter. =)

    There are things to know what casue LMD this and you can reduce the amount of redo with some advice

    You can look in the Interior of the newspapers archived using logminer.

    From two weeks, when I connect my 7th gen iPod Nano on my 10 Windows PC I get the following error message:

    I did the reset obvious from my PC and Nano.

    I enabled the use of the disc on the Nano and all under the record of the coach seemed reasonable, but I don't know what to expect here.

    Any other suggestions?

  • Win 10 Factory Reset

    I'm hoping for a solution to what has slowly turned into a nightmare, laptop came originally with Windows 7, upgrade to Win 10 online using an account of outlook.com as audit log.

    After a stay of 6 weeks, I inadvertently entered the password wrong outlook.com too many times and therefore has been locked on Windows 10. After trying all the options of recovery without success, I've been advised by Microsoft, the only option is a factory reset.

    Have copies of all the files in my hard I google drive how to reset the Toshiba to factory settings which looked simple enough, hold reset when turned on - wait for the beep and follow the instructions, unfortunately after the beep that Windows continues to load.

    It would appear that the factory reset data has been overwritten or are not applicable to win 10.

    Another Google search and the best advice that I can find is to buy Toshiba reset support, unfortunately, it seems that they only provide the media until Windows 8.1.

    I am at a loss what my next steps should be, it seems, only option is to buy a copy of win 10, but before I go down this road thought that I would ask if anyone can help?

    Try to maintain F12 during the power up to see the boot device menu, then select "disk HARD Recovery.
    This brings you to the screen Win10 troubleshooting. Choose "Reset" or "Refresh".

  • Recent calls tab does not keep the recent calls

    Since the last update, the 'Récent' tab has been essentially useless. Only, he keeps a log of missed calls and only until you look at. I need a log of all calls - incoming, outgoing, missed calls - at least the last seven days.

    All, I have a GB 16 new Touchpad I have initially bought from HP for firesale. I want to store instead of using it because I also have a 32 GB model that I use every day.

    I charged the battery to 100% and then used until the battery has shown 20%. After charging to 100%, power off now light for 15 sec and selecting power out of the selection of the pop-up window.

    Anything else I need to do? Oh!... I update latest WebOS before turning off.

    Theoretically, that should be all you need to do.  With all the posts on the TouchPads, refusing to wake up, we received here on this Forum, I would monitor the tablet on a schedule that is growing as trust builds up - say every week for a while, then every month, etc.

    Power it up, see how fresh is available, reload, then put to bed, repeat.

    The two smkranz and I always Palm PDA work like new using this method!

  • Remote Desktop connection and file sharing

    Hello, I have a technical question about file sharing.

    I use a remote desktop connection to connect to the server of the company.  We are currently between the two groups of IT services (last guy retired, he will be missed!) In any case, I need to backup my desktop files locally and have 4 or 5 of these local desktop file files saved as a backup on the server.   I want to just my files desktop back mount easily on the server. And I don't know how / what to ask to do this. I just need to know what to ask.

    I'm having problems:

    1. I don't know how to configure a file to save its content on and through a secure server.

    2. There are two types of files that I am trying to backup my office.  The details are below.

    2. the first type of files are simple files of customer data, PDF files, word files, files is excellent. Thus, some records are filled with the updated forms and these files constantly increasing in number and size of the file.  A simple example of this type would be a Bill.  File grows in size and file number every week because the new files are always being added.

    2B. I can't accurately describe the second type of file.  We use a program called TFP - when you open the program you load the specific customer file in a drop-down box.  Whenever you open the customer specific AMTS program saves any changes you made to this file and updates the customer file with a new date and then transfers the file from the client to a file from archive in C: drive. Basically, I want to save this file on the server of the company.

    3. can we make us safe so that data gets only shared a way?  I don't want people on the server to change my desktop files.

    I'm trying to implement a cDAQ-9137 for continuous data capture, without monitoring and logging for a long period of time (2 weeks +). I just created a new empty Labview project and added my cDAQ as target.     Thank you for fixing the screenshots of your project and MAX OR this post on the forum! Unfortunately, I don't have a CompactDAQ real-time directly available to test for the moment, but I'm fairly certain that you should be able to read I/O without adding explicitly in the Modules of the series C with your cDAQ. The reason why you must explicitly add the CompactRIO modules targets is because modules runs in the interface of the Interface of scanning or FPGA. With a goal of RT CompactDAQ, there is no interface FPGA option; instead your controller will read I/O to your Modules in the series C directly.

    If there is not an option for 'Module of the C series' in the submenu again when right clicking the target RT CompactDAQ, then I am inclined to believe that you should be able to target by device name thereafter. I want to say is that if you create a VI using our DAQmx API below your target RT CompactDAQ, you should be able select "CDaq1Mod3" as a material target for this task. Please check that is a DAQ Assistant or create a task DAQmx simple acceleration (or whatever it is you measure) under the lens of RT CompactDAQ. Thank you!

  • Cannot type 3 digit values in the Windows 7 color picker

    Hi - I can not enter any RGB or STL greater than 2 digits in any Windows color picker (x 64 Home Premium) even if a 3 digit value shows already in the area.

    All ideas, bugs? It's really, really frustrating to have to try to surf on the color picker to get an accurate value.

    Hi Ronnie thanks for your suggestions - however, there only was nothing wrong in my logs, and I just installed Windows 7, a week or two ago, I decided that I had nothing to lose to restore my own backup - IE a complete restoration of the system of the restoration as opposed to a "restore point." I prefer this, because it's like the hot flashes. :) That fixed the problem, thank God, but let me still puzzled about what caused the 'thing' happen in the first place. I'm reinstalling bric and broc and check the color picker after each change to see if I can find the culprit - so far without success. Anyway, thanks a lot for the quick and courteous answers!   • CS Photoshop error 6: 1 at startup - no setup error

    I have a file number and I worked with Kris in Support Adobe technique. My problem started when Bridge CS5 has stopped working. In fact, when you double-click the bridge.exe.file, it would appear in the Windows Task Manager, and then quickly disappear without a splash screen. Yes, we reset the preferences on the three boxes, and we did clean installs... several times. It came to my attention that any of the 64-bit in CS5 programs were working, then Kris has suggested that I have download CS6 because it uses a different Setup program. Previously, the installation of CS 5 program placed not files which he must have. He placed 90% in program files and not the folder program files (x 86). With CS6, we hoped that this would be fixed, however it is not. Currently, if I try and open the 64 Photoshop cs6 or open Illustrator CS6 I get an error: 1. However, 64 bridge works perfectly. Kris and I checked through every scrap of system and program files and cannot find a reason that this is happening.

    Today, I discovered that there is a missing file in C:\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\Startup Scripts CS6\Adobe Photoshop\photoshop. There should be a 'photoshop_en_US.dat' file and it does not exist. It goes the same for Illustrator. Bridge has this DAT file. and works very well. Now I understand that choosing the appropriate on the Setup language is as important as a successful installation, because Adobe uses the language selected in the context of the individual activation number.

    The root of the problems I've known relate all the installer for CS 5 and 6 cs. Adobe said that I am the first person to have this type of problem with the specific installer. My number is 6183449198. I have sent several log files to the team of escilation a week ago and still have not heard anything on their part.

    In addition, Kris L in the Philippines Call center has been great to work with this problem.  We have worked together to try to find out exactly what goes wrong and how to fix it. Without his help, I know that I have no idea yet where the problem may be. As is the case, the installer for CS5 is $# @% and the installer for CS6, while marginally better, has yet to be taken back to the drawing board that is not providing all the files that are needed to run all programs in CS6. Kris statedthat Chris Cox (of Adobe Systems) may be the person to talk to about this issue, but I don't have his email address and it is perhaps the only way to communicate with him.

    Suggestions (from ANYONE) of assistance would be welcome.

    It turns out that I was contacted by Jeff Wright Adobe form. After reviewing setup logs, he noted he had permission issues that had not been resolved. We tried to connect as administrator Net, but unfortunately even that the account had been corrupted. I was left with no option other than to "de-register" all my programs, back up all my documents, format the system drive and start from scratch.

    Installed Windows 7 Ultimate SP1 and never on the other program that I had previously on the disk. Installation of Adobe any treaty without errors or messages. Ditto for updates. Thank you for your time with this problem. If nothing else, it reminded me of the importance of the weekly and monthly backups. A very recent backup is not always very useful when tracing a problem at its source.

    I have a pxi-time real-system that automatically records the events our network multicast and creates a log file that grows every minute.

    The file is named packetsIn.log and appears under/or-rt/system/ethernet.

    The content of the file is

    Source Mac:...

    Dest Mac:...

    PacketSize:...

    The mac addresses that appear in the file are not of my controller but some switches or multicast-addresses of our network.

    If you delete the file, it appears again a few seconds after the action. The file grows too, if no labview applications are running on the system.

    A that someone has noticed similar behaviour? What could cause the creation of this file?

    We use LabVIEW 2009 SP1 and the curious, it's, it appears only in one of our controllers.

    11.1.0.1.0 grid control installed on Redhat 5.2. The reposotory database is Oracle 11.2.0.2 on the same Linux machine.
    File /u01/app/gc_inst/WebTierIH1/diagnostics/logs/OHS/ohs1/mod_wl_ohs_0202.log continues to grow, 6.5 GB after 6 months. renamed the file and created a vacuum mod_wl_ohs_0202.log. But the the old file still gets written. Not sure if I need to delete the file.

    What is the best practice for managing this file to avoid it grow too big?

    MS SQL 2008 R2 server (SQL Server 10.50.2500) on a Standard VM MS Windows 2008 R2 server.

    DB 1 MB, unrestricted growth. Current database size: 3887MB

    Log growth of 10%, limited to 4 GB maximum size after shrink this morning BUT 2MB

    Every morning the logfile has run nearly full but the VMware VirtualCenter Server service runs and I can start the vSphere Client. I know not if I do not shrink the log, the service will stop later today or tomorrow.

    but I do not see any table more than many. I see that VPX_EVENT has increased about 28 MB at night, but nothing else seems alarming.
