  usually, I work on a Mac with VMware Fusion. My external hard drive is a FireWire 800 formated with exFAT, where virtual machines.

  With the merger under Mac OS, I have no problem, but when I use this same HD and same virtual machines on a Windows 8 with Workstation 9.0.2 I get an error:

  "Could not open the virtual machine F:\path\to\vmx a serious error occurred when accessing this virtual computer: input/output error.

  The funny thing is that otherwise, this exFAT volume works without problem, AND when I tried first of all he could open a virtual machine and start it, I/O - error in the middle of execution (boot).   Edit: When I copy a virtual machine on the local C: drive of the Windows Machine, it works like a charm, so there must be something with the external volume.

  Don't have an answer for you, sorry, but a comment...

  I wouldn't use exFAT for one thing I don't like exFAT is that it uses only a copy of the (FAT) file allocation table where FAT32 uses two copies, one at each end of the disc, so if something happens to the primary FAT secondary FAT can be used for the recovery of aid, but if something messes with FAT on an exFAT disc that you're fucked.  Consider using FAT32 vs exFAT.

  Note: You will not be able to use previously affected or monolithic virtual hard disks larger than 4 GB if you use FAT32.

  Yes, indeed.

  Once your images are imported into Lr, all changes to the names or locations of volumes, the folder names or heirarcy file will cause this kind of problem. This is why you should always use the parent folders and such do NEVER changes outside of the Lightroom. If you do not have these chaneges, Lr has absolutely no idea, these changes have been made and will not be able to reference the original images.

  If you have used a file relative to all of the included images, you can right click on the folder and "find original"... otherwise... you can always change the name of the volume to the old name, and all goes well.

  How about two indicators of photo?  One on the top that contains the circle but otherwise has a transparent background.

  The indicator of the photo that you draw your other image is backward in your z-order of the controls on the front panel.

(This problem turned out be a 'hot VP"to the Exchange and nothing to do with my equipment).  The program "Microsoft difficulty it Center" has worked without problem then but now seems to be corrupted, and I can't seem to uninstall in the usual way.

  I just got earpods last week and finally had time to open yesterday. At first, they seemed to work fine, but then they started to randomly pause and play music volume control without me touching even the remote control. They are great if I sit completely still, but if I do something as simple as the market they will begin to act. I did a test call and the other person has said that there is a very loud static-y. It seemed to happen whenever I hit the remote control on the earpods. These are new from the package, can I get a replacement or refund at least? I do not have the receipt they were a gift, but I might be able to obtain it from the person who gave it to me.
