  • Sound does not work with headphones

I have to attend an online presentation. We have checked all the settings of the sound card, but all I can do with my helmet is talk, but I can't hear anything in my headset if someone speaks. I need to first unplug the headphones to hear anything in the boxes of two speakers. I bought a new headset, but that did not help. I was looking for some drivers etc but can't find anything. Anyone know what I need to do to talk and hear the other participants at the same time with my helmet?

    Thank you very much

    Hello Nicci

You already end solution? I put t know which model of laptop, you have, but they all work on the same path. Please check the volume control if it has disabled mute box (control volume and waves).

In device manager there is no problem with the sound card, it should work properly. Check please properties of sound and Audio devices in Control Panel. I'm sure that some settings is not set correctly.

  • Must unplug the headphones and then plug it back in to get them to work on start up

Must unplug the headphones and then plug back in to get to work, they use to work all the time if I just left it plugged in. Out of the blue they stopped working. In Device Manager when I boot up (it is when they do not work), it shows that its speakers on only, once I have unplug my headphones it appears... There is no unknown device anywhere. It shows like "Cirrus Logic CS4208". As much as I know there is no new drivers... Is there anyway I can force bootcrap to re-download the drivers?

You can use OS X BC Assistant for re - download drivers of BC and the re-install. Do you have any active Windows automatic updates?

  • Can I set up a surround sound 5.1 with the headphones?

Can I set up a surround sound 5.1 with the headphones? I plugged in the headphones, but it doesn't seem to work very well.

    Great Question!

The output on the laptop is 2.0, unless specified.

Most of the 5.1 headphones do a virual surround sound experience unless they require multiple entries mini-jack, optical or cajolées.

The only way to experience true 5.1 on a notebook computer is to have a 5.1 card internal (which is not included in the course HP laptop computers) or buy an external plug (USB or ExpressCard).

  • Unplug the headphones of Walkman app silenced all functions of the phone except for incoming calls

I found a bug that caused the alarm become silent. I am able to reproduce consistently and ahd a firend with a different Xperia V confirm.

I use using a Sony build 4.1 version (. 490) with ADWLauncher (but my friend was also able to reproduce this with regular Sony Launcher, also on the 4.1 build)

    to reproduce:

    (1) check base case: all applications closed, adjust the volume to maximum using rocking of the volume on the side of the phone. to release the keys, you should hear a tone giving you the current volume

It also means that the sound works

    (2) plug in headphones

    (3) open app Walkman and listen to a song

    (4) once the track has begun and you can hear in the headphones, unplug the earphones

    track must stop (correct behavior)

    5) press "Home" to return to the home screen

    (6) repeat step (1)... sound is now DISABLED, autour and shows volume knob slides it is not cut, but when I release the button it does not play the sound

critical, it also cuts the alarm

(so if you want that the game alarm for 2 minutes in the future before the departure the sequence above, when it fires it is silent after steps 1 through 6 have been made)

some things that eliminate the effect once it arrives in this State buggy: If you receive a phone call, then he makes it sound and after the call, his resume (no matter what you did with the call - ignore, answer etc, all that is needed is for the phone to ring)

also sometimes re - insert and remove the earphones also restores sound

phone is fully updated from the Google store set to have the latest versinos of applications

I tested this same sequence using other music apps (of rocket, Google Reader Play Music) and the phone has NOT lost his after step (4) and everythnig functioned normally.

This bug seems to be isolated to the sony Walkman android app.

I quite like the walkman for sony hopy app can look at this and fix it with an update of the application itself - as all other music apps I tested are causing not easy

I do not know if this was presented in a recent version of Walkman or the 4.1 update... Maybe someone could test on a pre-version 4.1 phone to see if it still happens

the recent firmware 9.1.A.1.140 seems to fix this problem. was not able to reproduce once I have updated.

    Thanks sony!

  • Sound does not come through headphones

I hear through the moniter speakers no problem, but do not work earphones and microphones plugged into the right Tower.

    Hi calummurray,

    1. Did you the latest changes on the computer?
    2. When was the last time it was working fine?
    3. Have you tested the helmet on the front and the back of port?
    4. You are able to hear the sound from the computer's internal speakers?

Make sure the headset is not connected to the line (headphone) jack of your sound card or computer (unless you want to be listening with headphones rather than speakers). When you connect in the headphones, most computers automatically cut the sound to the speakers.

See the link below and run them the troubleshooter of audio playback, check if it helps.

    No sound in Windows

  • No sound coming out of the headphones, speakers only

    Hello!

I have an Inspiron N5050. For some reason when my headphones are plugged in, sound does not come from them, only the speakers.  The quality of the sound from the speakers is slightly different when it is plugged, so without a doubt, it recognizes that something is in the making.  I don't know if this has no relevance, but I listened earlier on my helmet and made a scan of AVG firewall pop up, and after completing the analysis, it has stopped working.

    Thanks for your help!

Hello. Start by using the system restore Windows (type in the search box system restore).

Then try to reinstall the audio driver IDT of the Inspiron N5050 downloads page, after selecting your operating system from the menu.

If still does not, it could be a hardware failure. Your model does not have a dedicated audio hardware diagnostic tool, but a couple are other tools that can help diagnose compare drivers and the system recovery.

  • No sound after you connect the headphones.

I have a pavilion dv6 laptop.  I have a headset that I want to use for the games, but I can't hear sound through them.  When I do my helmet of communication to the default device it doesn't let me.

    Hello Jack,.

I certainly understand the inconvenience that you cross.

It is possible that this problem would have occurred due to some incorrect settings or because of an incompatible or corrupted audio drivers.

Important: Make sure that your headphones are not connected to the line (headphone) jack of your sound card or computer (unless you want to be listening with headphones rather than speakers). When you connect in the headphones, most computers automatically cut the sound to the speakers. Ensure that the headset is completely and firmly inserted into the correct socket. Plug in the headphones and see if the same appears in Device Manager.

In order to understand the issue more clearly, I would ask that kindly provide me with the following information.

    1. Have you tried plugging in external speakers or any other helmet and checked if you are able to hear the audio?
    2. You are able to get the sound on your laptop's built-in speakers?

If you are not able to hear the audio on the built-in speakers or other external speakers or any other headset, I would suggest trying the following methods and check if it helps.

    Method 1:

Open the hardware and devices troubleshooter.

Note: If your computer is having problems with a recently installed device or other hardware, try to use the hardware and peripheral troubleshooting tool to solve the problem. It checks the common issues of interest and ensures that a new device or hardware connected to your computer has been installed correctly.

If the problem persists, please follow method 2.

    Method 2:

Check with the volume controls. Please follow the steps below and check if it helps.

    (a) right click on the speaker icon in the taskbar, then select volume control options.
    (b) check on "all devices evolving sound.
    (c) make sure that you have "Default uncontrolled communication device".
    (d) place a check on the speakers and headphones. Click on apply and OK.

If the problem persists, follow method 3.

    Method 3:

This occurs when you have the speakers, by default. We need to put the headset as default. Please follow the steps below and check if it helps.

    • Exercise the functions mentioned below to set the speakers as default.

    • Click Start and click on Control Panel.

    • Click sound, and then a new window will open.

    • In the new window click on the "Playback" tab and right-click in the window and click on Show disabled devices.

    • Now, check if the headset is listed there and right-click on it and choose activate.

    • To highlight this helmet and click "set as default".

Also try to install the latest drivers from the chipset in the system and check if it helps.

If the problem persists, follow method 4

    Method 4:

I suggest you to refer to the procedure described in the article below and check if it helps.

    Hello

    ·         The headset works on different computers?

    ·         When is - this problem started?

Check if your headset is set to use as the default value * Communication * device instead of the default device, or if the two devices are configured by default. If so, do the default headphones, so that Windows will use only when they are connected to follow the steps below:

    Check volume settings.

    a. right click on the speaker icon in the taskbar, then select volume control options.

    b. put a check mark on "all devices evolving sound.

    c. make sure you have "Default uncontrolled communication device".

    d. place a check on the speakers and headphones.

I have audio noise from headphone monitor U2413 plug.  My setup includes the following: XPS 15 laptop computer connected to the monitor with DisplayPort cable and the last standard headphones to the monitor.  The noise sounds like the gain is all the way to the top.  I have no audio on the computer running and still hear static noise.  I hear the sound noise cut only when I disconnect the video cable.  I tried DisplayPort and HDMI cables and still the same result.  The two cables that I know are well insulated.  Is their environment in the monitor that should get rid of this noise?

This port is designed to be used with the Dell soundbar speakers or some other speakers. You should connect your headphones to the audio output jack of the computer.
