  My app (BerryUnitConverter) has a numeric field that is declared like this:

  On the physical keyboard devices (curve, for example) which makes the keyboard behave as if it was digital, which is the desired behavior.

  Edit - basically, it's a bug in the operating system, upper and 4.7.0.90 versions corrected.  Since the last public version of Verizon's 4.7.0.75, your choices are to inform users to upgrade to a non official OS, create your own virtual keyboard, or (if your application is not due for some time) wait and hope Verizon Pushes 4.7.0.1xx awhile.

  I have HP Envy Beats all-in-one.  Mouse worked, keyboard no longer works unless after withdrawal of the driver for keyboard then rebooted.  Would work for this next boot, solved by disabling fast-start-up in power options, the theory is computer starts jumped linking or simply crossed it faster that the keyboard can answer.  Hope this helps you.

  My brother has an ENVY 17 t-J000 Quad Edition. Only about 6 months. Its backlit keyboard remembers its state of on or off when it reboots or off. When he turns on his laptop back, the keyboard is always if it's him on when he turned off the laptop.

  I just got the ENVY 17 t-J100 Leap Motion backilt keyboard edition. But every time that I reboot or shutdown with the backlight on, it is turned off when I have the laptop or reset. So whenever I have to re - turn on the backlight. Very annoying.

  Anyone else with the jump movement 17 t-J100 having this problem? If so, I hope it's fixed soon. I also can't update the Nvidia drivers then perhaps we need a BIOS update to solve these two problems.

  I just checked to be sure. It turns off if the laptop is turned off and turned on then again - but if I just restart the kbd is running.

  You can disable the service charge as follows.

  From the desktop, hold down the Windows key and press R.  In the run window, type services.msc and press to enter.  Navigate to the touchscreen keyboard and Handwriting service panel, right click and select Properties.

  In the drop-down list box next to "Startup Type", select disabled and click on apply to save the changes.

  Click on the "Stop" button to end the service.

  If you have never wanr to use on-screen keyboard, this service must be re-enabled and started the first.

• Envy 17 ": faulty keyboard HP Envy

  I bought my laptop HP Envy about a month ago and everything that I am not too impressed - expensive given how it was! The mouse is capricious, it crashed several times (and Yes - all my updates and antiviral software are certainly aware), but the most worrisome is a serious malfunction with my keyboard. Now, it is impossible to use a particular character more than once in quick succession without first waiting 3 seconds as the discount system. For example, if I wanted to type the word "estate", I have to type "juice" (wait 3 seconds) then "these" (another 3 seconds wait) then "Zion." It is the same for the BACKSPACE and return - which, as you imagine it is enough to drive me crazy.

  This is really outrageous and unacceptable. I am a graduate student busy who need to write thousands of words each week, and this product is shockingly bad.

  HP: Please help as a matter of urgency!

  On the Start Menu, open setting, then easy access and keyboard - make sure that both "Turn Sticky Keys" & "Turn on filter keys" is disabled.

• Keyboard HP Envy 17 spits out several key with a simple pressure on

  Have a problem with the keyboard on the HP Envy 17. There are three keys which, for some reason, has stopped working.

  The 'o' key product zero, key, left the House, period, 'o' and 'p '.

  The "L" produced three key, period, PG., six, 'l' and semi colen.

  The '. "product key 2', '5', end,"4", period, and slash."

  This happens whenever you press the key. If they produce the above, then the last key repeatedly.

  All other keys work correctly. If using a separate USB keyboard, it works fine.

  I tried the update and rolling back of the BIOS, but also "reset" by removing all power for a few minutes. I also uninstalled the driver and installed later.

  Also, I bought a replacement of HP keyboard (part #720244-001) and installed. Does not resolve the issue.

  Any ideas or suggestions?

  Try this.

  1 turn off pc

  2. turn on power but on tap immediately the ESC key several times to load the start menu

  3. press F11 to load the hp Recovery Manager

  4. Once you have hp Recovery Manager in the middle section there is a check by computer option run to the top, click on it and hit open a command promt

  * If the issue persist while typing in the command prompt, your pc needs some maintenance or a repair, it may be the Council or the keyboard itself.

  If this isn't the case, it's just a software problem, and you can perform the recovery by using the hp Recovery Manager

  Hi Forum!

  I just got my ENVY 14 t-3000 in the mail and I can't get the backlight for the keyboard to work.

  I tried the following:

  • F5
  • FN + f5
  • FN + [space]
  • F5 + [space]
  • FN + F5 + [space]
  • Check the BIOS to make sure that the function keys were working, they were
  • I also tried different settings with the proximity sensor including turn it off completely

  I used the HP Support Assistant program that was preinstalled to chat with a service representative, but they just responses of Cutter biscuit and not helpful at all.

  Does anyone have a solution for me?  Thank you is advanced!

  I didn't know that the model had a sealed battery.  Perform these steps and just don't worry not about the withdrawal of the battery and now the power button for a minute.  You should perform these steps in the exact order, but in your case, it will not be possible.  So, go ahead and see if the rest of the steps will still work for you.

• Phone - digital keyboard filling does not

  I always felt a need to 'premium' my request for the keyboard when using the phone stock feature. (with the exception of Handcent SMS, everything is stock on my phone).

  When I go into the cool phone menu - which means that I don't have it in the list of recent applications, I get the speed dial images (see attachment). I then press the icon in the middle of the keyboard. I am taken to a new screen that is empty (see attachment). I have to press return, and then repeating the claim dialpad. Then, I'm given the keyboard as expected.

  Is anyone else able to reproduce this bug?

  I think you see this, if you have disabled animations in the developer Options.

  Define your parameters of 3 animation at least .5x and dialpad should work correctly.

  A possible clue in this area shows looks like on a couple of key tasks - maybe one spill - I read somewhere to burst the CAP key and maybe to clean the area with a cotton swab with alcohol?

  A number of things you said indicate that this could be a really serious problem...

  (1) you said the keys have been colored, and (2) to which to connect a USB keyboard has the same problem.

  If it was simply a minor spill on the keys, then (2) would not be the case, and a connected USB keyboard would work without any problem.

  But, given the second, everything that has been spilt on the keyboard seeped inside the laptop and did damage.

  At this point, your only recourse is to take the laptop to a cell phone of reputable repair shop and have them run diagnostics and, if necessary, disassemble to determine how much damage has been done and what it will take to fix it.

  IF it was bad, you're probably looking at a higher cost to repair than to replace.
