Directories of Cisco C90

We have a medically certified application that uses the Cisco C90 via its API and Telnet. The question we have is that this specific application is referred to the local address book and not the address book of companies that is replicated through the organization. Any way to copy address books via the script or to change a setting in the C90, so it is the references to the address book when the local address book is requested via the API?

All advice is appreciated and we would be potentially interested in any contractor who can help with this.

You will need to modify the application so that it looks the right directory via the API commands it uses.  There is not sort on the endpoint to indicate endpoint to search for the API to redirect to the local directory in the directory of companies.

Thus, in the application, where he is doing a

 xCommand Phonebook Search

you will need to set it to a

 xCommand Phonebook Search PhonebookType: Corporate

Take a look at the API reference Guide for details (Page 121).

Someone has information on how to Install Licenses Multisite L-C90-MS, LIC-MX300-MS and MS-SX20-LIC?  These is installed directly in the codec? what procedure?

    Thank you very much!!

    Mario,

This is the option buttons that you add directly to the codec. Just go to maintenance > upgrade and paste the option key pressed in the key field of the option. This usually requires a restart when completed.

  • Cisco Codec C90 with three cameras

    Hi gurus,

We plugged three cameras to Cisco C90. All cameras are connected with Garland and HDMI cables goes to the codec.

main camera connected to, a second camera HDMI connected to HDMI 2 and the third camera to HDMI 3.

Under the video input, we changed the interface of three DVI HDMI sources and the type of PC to the camera.

    Now, I have two problems,

    1. for presentation sharing there is no PC option, is to show only the camera three, DVD camera and document.

    2. Since the touchscreen, we are not able to control the camera 3.

We were able to control the camera with remote but not with touchscreen 8 three.

What is the current version of the firmware of the C90?

' 1-presentation sharing there is no PC option, is to show only the camera three, DVD camera and document

What input you used to connect to your PC for the presentation? What input connector?

You mentioned that you have already used a HDMI 3 input for the third camera to allow to use the available video inputs or input 4 (HDMI) or 5 (DVI) for entry-level PC presentation.

Log on to the web interface C90 and check the configuration Configuration > System Configuration > video.

For example, you connected the PC presentation on line 4 (4) using HDMI, as shown in the figure. Change the Type name for PCand PC .

  • Module MDS 9513-48 ports with the 'Suspended' State Bootflash

    Hi team

    Module; DS - X 9248-96 k 9

    Switch MDS 9513 (13 Slot)

    Firmware: 5.0 (4B)

Is it possible online to change the State to return to the 'race' bootflash without reseating the module?

Appreciate your quick response in this regard

    Status of frequency test action

    -----------------------------------------------------------------

    Bootflash 10s suspension allowed

    5 active EOBC sec race

    Loopback active Running 5 sec

    AAGR 1 day active Running

    -----------------------------------------------------------------

    Hi Anand,

It is an indication that bootflash failed on the line card and the line card needs to be replaced.

If the line card is now in place and that you reinstall / reload it, I would expect the next State to be 'off' because the card online is unable to load the firmware.   You should leave it until you can have it replaced.

  • How to back up the local directory/favorite in the C series or series EX with TC5.0

    Hi all

I would like to know there is any method to safeguard the local directory/favorite in the series C or EX-series, with TC5.0. On the other hand, we have configured the root account.

We found the local phone are stored with FolderId (localGroupId-3).

    xCommand file directory add

Add a file to the local directory where the directory entries can be stored. Returns the file ID (localGroupId-3), which is a unique identifier of the folder.

However, we want the exact location of the folder ID (localGroupId-3), also, is it possible to back up these files in case we need an RMA.

    Best regards

    Ben

    Hello Ben!

That's the advantage on centrazlied directories, perhaps Cisco could implement user according to

directories that are centralized yet stored...

In any case, I see at least two options, you can use the administrator account tsh and run:

    xcommand search directory

    PhonebookId:

    PhonebookType:

    SearchString:

    SearchField:

    Offset: <0..65534>

    FolderId:

    Limit: <0..65534>

    Recursive:

You may need to use recursive or other options for all entries.

In addition, it might be easier to use the account root and PCs to download local

the phone book file and copy on a different endpoint, its location is:

    /config/Pb.XML

Please note the anwer using the stars below and define the thread if it is a response.

We have installed a codec C90 Cisco in a large training room using 7 1080 HD Precision cameras chaining.

You have a document on how to configure the C90 with Garland of 7 cameras guides on how to operate the cameras for example spend 1 camera to another and how to use the remote control.

Thank you very much for the help.

    Hello

You can use document about Garland of camera and limitation here

    http://www.Cisco.com/c/dam/en/us/TD/docs/Telepresence/endpoint/camera/PR...

    Search for Garland

About commissioning, whenever you want to use any camera make sure to have it as a main video for the codec, the second thing that must be supported is the remote control should be close to the camera to have adequate control.

You must of course remote control IR response should come from desired camera, if cameras are close to each other, make sure to set the remote control DIP switch.

Will you keep the fixed camera position or he has to move, if it is necessary to go you will rely on the remote control or any third party controller?

You can change the source of the main camera using one of the following options:

The remote control of the menu (don't remember the exact location).

The web interface, and on the page of call control, the configuration page of the system in the video options.

The serial port or SSH, you can issue commands directly on the codec to change the camera to help source xConfiguration Video MainVideoSource .

Don't forget Wayne said, you can have a single camera selected at any time, therefore, you will see whatever the camera is selected as the primary source, unless you use Console TC composite multiple cameras in a single stream to display on the screen.

I had following problem and impossible to find a clue that can move me somewhere.

A customer has a jabber Cisco 10.5 deployed and integrated with Active Directory.

I searched the Web for tips but have not found anything.

    My questions are:
