Qosmio F750 - 12 p / BD - RW Pioneer BDR-TD04A - Bluray discs will not play
Qosmio F750 - 12 p
BD - RW Pioneer BDR-TD04A
Windows 7 Home PremiumProblem: Bluray discs will not play. CD will play.
History: I did a clean install of Windows 7 and then installed 60 all the drivers from the support site for this laptop model. Or at least those that would install. Interestingly, the driver of Toshiba Bluray would not install. the installation process stated "player not found on your system" or something like that.
What works the device currently is a 2006 (?) Microsoft driver.
Clues? It's the second Toshiba laptop, I had to (second-hand), and they both had this problem: DVD players do not play DVD right from the start. Very annoying.
Update:
The "Bluray driver" mentioned above is just the own DVD from Toshiba software. It is not a driver. And it does not find the optical drive Bluray on my laptop!
- The Bluray optical drive will play DVDs, but not of Bluray discs. I'll borrow an another DVD Bluray at the local library, to ensure that it is not a disk failure.
-The Wifi does not work ("network controller driver is bad / missing")
- I probably deleted the hidden partition that contains the Toshiba "system recovery disk". I have re-installed Windows and written too. [You are supposed to press "0" when the power, but it does not show the Toshiba Recovery console. I scoured the hidden with a freeware Windows partition and there is nothing usable here.]
It is a stupid economy, not providing a system restore disk AND do not provide drivers download work. (The drivers offered on the site are simply updated). It makes the laptop value much less long term and creates bad word-of-mouth over time.
The only station I have is to buy a Blu - Ray external drive and perhaps a Wifi dongle. Crazy.

Son of anarchy BD Discs will not play on BDX4400 (black screen)
Hello world!
Just wondering if anyone can help with the following: I had some problems with the blu - Ray of the BDX4400 player (remote works do not, the reaction is slow, frozen Portal etc.) for awhile, but it was ok with playing DVDs / blu - ray... Up to our days. I come from the Sons of Anarchy box, insert the first disk, and then the screen goes black. You can hear the disc turning for a few seconds and the play icon appears but then it's all... Just a black screen and you can't even eject the disc (remote not working do not when it is at this point).
I tried other discs of this set, but the same thing happens. However, the other DVD / Blu - Ray work. Therefore, I am sure that the player is fine, but maybe im missing a parameter that must be changed...?
Someone had a similar problem? (I disabled the internet connections and the bd-live function, but not luck)The region code is correct and FW is up to date, so this may not be the root of the problem, if all fails, I may have to blame the actual discs, but I have trouble believing that 15 discs are damaged...
Anyway, if anyone has any suggestions, which would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance
It is always a stupid situation if everything works perfectly, but not with some discs/disc.
In case your player works well with the other BR disks that the problem must be with the disks you have.Is there a possibility to test the disks on a few other BDplayer?
You laptop / PC with BD optical drive? Can test you?To be honest, what is unclear to me that something can be changed (settings) in this case. Either it works or not.

I want to install WIN 7 on my Dell XP computer. The disc I bought says that the hard disk must be clean first. The disc does not start on the existing XP. How can I do this?
Hello
Have you changed the boot order?
You need to change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order and boot from the Windows 7 DVD:
How to change the Boot order in BIOS:
http://pcsupport.about.com/od/fixtheproblem/SS/bootorderchange.htm
Do install a cleaning, removal of the existing XP partition and create a new partition to install 7 on in the own installation process:

"This installation disc is not compatible with your version of Windows.
I have a center of Lenovo think that I got from a friend. When I tried to install Windows 7, I get a pop up window that says: "this installation disc is not compatible with your version of Windows.
Contact Lenovo and get a set of discs of recovery/restore the system if you want to reinstall the version of Windows that comes with it. Now, your most likely problem is that you have a record of 64-bit and you try to install it inside the XP which is a 32-bit operating system. Will not work.

Hi the prey,
· What is the brand and model of the computer?
You should check the settings of the computer BIOS (Basic Input\Output System) to boot from the CD/DVD. Check the manual or the support of the computer Web site for the same.
Note: Be careful when you change the BIOS settings. The BIOS interface is designed for advanced users, and it is possible to change a setting that can prevent your computer from starting properly.
Run the Windows 7 Upgrade Advisor to see if your computer is compatible to install Windows 7.

Burning DVD disc does not not - D:------. Is not Accessible and error Code 2130932483
My Windows XP system has been recently updated, and now the Sony DVD burner does not work. When I insert a blank disc "is not accessible D:\". "appears. Program "Error Code 2130932483" appears if I run a DVD burning. If I put the DVD burned in the drive he acknowledges. I went through the program Microsoft Fix It and all it came with was the drive is not capable of burning and suggested adding a program of writing (or something like that). Other discussions, I looked online proposed something on the old drivers or updated burning software, but I'm lost. Would be very happy for any help I can get. Thank you! BTW, the drive is a SONY DVD RW DW-U12A

Formatting a floppy disc? Not sure whre to post.
Hello.
I bought a floppy A. call me drive old school or whatever it is you want. I'll soon make a version of the system. I have format the discs in?
I have my reasons for the drive floppy in case you ask. XP needs for AHCI drivers for my motherboard for a - on my re - install. I can also update my bios if necessary. Since I'm making music, there are existing instruments that use of floppy drives to store MIDI or other information, etc.
When I insert the disk, how to format them? What can I NTFS them? Are they read? I guess it would be fat16 or fat32 or something. With the former equimpent, I guess they cannot recognize NTFS or the discs do not work even if it is possible if I use that in windows OS.
Is there a documentation should I consult? Only, I don't know where to look, or anything.
I did not use the disks for a long time. I remember correctly, they are formatted at the factory. If this isn't the case, right click on the floppy drive and click Format . The choice of file system is FAT . Boulder computer Maven
