Display of telepresence

Dear all,

We recently ordered a CTS-MX300-55-k9. CTS-MX300-55-FSK part number was missing when the order arrives. Spare part number should we order for CTS-MX300-55-FSK?

I see 2 numbers of spare parts as below but do not know which is the right one for the CTS-MX300-55-FSK. Here are the 2 reference numbers. Also, what is the difference between them? Do I have to order one of them or both?

CTS-MX300-55-FSKL =.

Cisco TelePresence MX300 55 floor Stand cover Spare

CTS-MX300-55-ASGB =.

Cisco TelePresence MX300 55 floor Stand Spare Base

No, FSK = Floor Stecher Kit and consists of column, base and lids.

FSKL = Floor Stecher Kit Lid and ASGB = Floor S Ktecher it Base and these can be purchased as a spare to replace the original parts, however, in this case you're still missing the column.

And as you can see from the link I posted, this company actually sells the complete kit as CTS-MX300-55FSK.

If you ordered and paid, CTS-MX300-55-FSK, then you will need to contact your supplier or Cisco rep for this sorting is missing at least two boxes.

/Jens

  • Demo of VCS - C VCS-E without license

    Hi all UC TP Experts,

I just deployed the ovules of VCS 8.1 (s42700x8_1_0.ova) for the C Highway and Expressway-E on the Jabber without VPN demo. She is successful for me to configure the Expressway-C and it is failing for me create the 'traversal server' box on the highway-E, but I can't see the option "route server.

I have to insert the option key to activate Expressway-E, which will change the role of VCS to the highway E.

Note that during the first installation of the motorway of the VM, the area of banner on the web interface will display Cisco TelePresence Video Communication Server. After the installation of the option key Expressway series the banner area change to indicate Cisco Expressway-C (or Cisco Expressway-E if the Traversal Server option button has also been installed).

  • Tandberg 1700 display name

I have a Tandberg 1700, I only have one profile and it is enabled, and my display name is stored under this profile. When I call any other VTC (not same model) the full name isn't what I put as, what Miss me? Thanks - also I don't have a manual of sorts, so I'll just out of what I found through various parts of the menu settings.

Can you tell us how you have configured 1700, it uses CUCM/VCS for appeal, or autonomous control?  You use h.323 or SIP to connect to others, and what end points or devices you connect to?

Usually if you use H323, the display name will be drawn from the E.164 Alias or ID H323, SIP has an option called nickname.

For user guides and admin, and other related documents, refer to Cisco TelePresence system 1700 MXP.

When I tested the video-conference with these devices that I have, I got an error:

I can say that the error I've met, because of the License (LIC-TP-SMP) I missed?

You mentioned that the SMP license is "on the way"-If you have not all installed licenses? Conductor will support the old model of the "display license" or multi-stakeholder model, but whatever you use you must installed licenses or it won't work. That error seems to indicate that you have no license installed, it won't work until you solve that.

  • Server of telepresence to the screen indicators

Is it possible to disable the screen indicators (as "icon display when participants are not encrypted" or "Indicate the presence of other participants") on a basis by conference, rather than in the world?  It would be for mode managed locally or remotely.

    Thanks, Mike

It is not possible to disable OSD icons/notifications for a locally managed telepresence server, because they are global settings that affect all conferences and calls.  However, for a telepresence server managed remotely using a conductor, you can disable the OSD icons/notifications for individual conferences using custom settings in the advanced settings of the Conference model, see below for an example.

    {"callAttributes":{"indicateUnencryptedParticipants":false,"indicateAudioOnlyParticipants":false}}
The string above will disable encryption and participating overflow icons, refer to the section "callAttributes" in TelePresence Server API Guides for other possible attributes which may can be disabled.

  • SX20 without dual display capable to share the presentation?

    Hello

I would just clear my doubt

SX20 is without option of dual display capable to share the presentation.

If I understand correctly the SX20 installation sheet

    http://www.Cisco.com/en/us/docs/Telepresence/endpoint/quick-set-SX20/installation_guide/sx20_quick_set_installation_sheet_for_web.PDF

Connect your main display on the HDMI color blue.

With the dual display option, connect the second screen to the other HDMI output.

It means that I can still share presentation even without dual display option

    Best regards

    Titebiket

    Hello

Yes, you need not dual display of the presentation.

  • How to get the video conference on the two HDMI ports simultaneously in the telepresence codec sx20 o/p?

I tried to get video output in both output HDMI port SX20 codec, but when I'm on one device to the other display is turned off, so my question is, I can't exit on both screens at the same time? If so, how?

    Hello

First of all what you should check that the "videos > monitors: role" is set to Dual and you can then configure the output HDMI mode primary, secondary or presentation only.

This can be done through the WEB user interface or via the CLI over SSH

    http://www.Cisco.com/c/dam/en/us/TD/docs/Telepresence/endpoint/quick-set...

If your search "Video monitors" in this document, you will see the orders if necessary.

Hello. I have installed CTS1300 and using LCD-100-Pro-40N as an external display.

When I use previously third LCD (NEC LCD), I used DVI to HDMI cable between the telepresence and external display.

LCD-100-Pro-40N must also DVI to HDMI Cable? Or HDMI to HDMI cable available since both are Cisco brand?

Both cables may work, but Cisco recommends DVI-HDMI cable between codec and an external display.

  • Clinic of telepresence

What is the difference between the presence of clinics of telepresence and the Clinical Assistant telepresence VX

    Alex

Sent by Cisco Support technique iPad App

The telepresence of clinical presence system (CPS) is that a video codec C40 based mobile endpoint. It supports multiple displays, a motorized adjustable work surface and a number of inputs / outputs.

Photos and specifications of the CPS can be found here:

    http://www.Cisco.com/en/us/prod/collateral/ps7060/ps11304/ps11314/ps11417/data_sheet_c78-648400.html

The Clinical Assistant VX is essentially the slightly, little brother of the CPS. It is based on the video codec C20, a smaller footrprint, has a single screen and fixed work surface.

VXCA sheet and photos can be found here:

    http://www.Cisco.com/en/us/prod/collateral/ps7060/ps11304/ps11314/ps12152/data_sheet_c78-681413.html

Two mobile telepresence solutions are FDA class 1, and you can attach several of your devices video collaboration to our shopping cart.

Clinical HealthPresence (to add some confusion over) is a very wide and large scale type of solution. Video collaboration is part of it, but can also include medical devices, scheduling, data aggregation and AutoSave, etc. calling, used mainly in large network deployments.

If all goes well that can clarify things a little.

  • CTS500-37 taken support auxiliary display

We would like to get an auxiliary display for the CTS500-37, the screen must be less than 37 "(la taille de l'écran TP)."

The available auxiliary display that are smaller than 37 "on the cover of the CTS500-37 note are all EOS.

How can I get an updated list of what display models are supported by CTS500-37, I have also to replacement of the weekday service following with the display.

    Thank you.

    Hello Joseph.

According to our latest notes 1.9 version, the good news is that you can use most of the HD screens, then likely you already have a. I would recommend DVI/HDMI connection.

    Relase Notes:

    http://www.Cisco.com/en/us/docs/Telepresence/cts_admin/1_9/release/notes/cts_1_9_release_notes.html#wp230276

Although currently no poster is recommended, Cisco TelePresence systems are designed to work with any Full HD monitor that connects to the system using a standard HDMI or DVI interface. Note that the connector on the side of the system is always HDMI, HDMI-HDMI cable or a HDMI-DVI cable is required.

  • Cisco TelePresence Manager 1.7 with EWS 2007, Timezone and purpose of the meeting of the problems

After having successfully configured the CTMan MS EWS CASE 2007 1.7 I am stumbling on two errors/bugs very subtle and boring between these two servers.

    1. the time zone in the confirmation e-mail sent by CTS Manager to the meeting returns

    501225

    Summary

    Unresolved zone mapping

The problem lies in the information CTMan by EWS thrust. According to the text in the zone tags, CTMan maps time zone accordingly or it does not. It's really incredibly annoying.

    For example:

Standard time this gets the mapping OK

(UTC + 02:00) Harare, Pretoria it is not mapped OK

(GMT + 02:00) Harare, Pretoria it is not mapped OK

South Africa standard time , that it becomes mapped OK

Update the file timezonemap.xml in the telepresence Manager would be a nice gesture by Cisco to avoid these horrible bugs.

    2. the subject meeting is always the same as the organizer of the meeting.

In other words, the subject gets crushed by the meeting of the chain of the organizer for each scheduled meeting. I don't know how much of this is the fault of CTMan, because the resulting XML has this topic in the tags all wrong.

Someone at - he dealth with these issues in the community?

    Any thoughts?

    Hello

For the #1 question. I checked the file of zone mapping has the whatever you specified in version 1.8. From 1.7.2 the time zone (GMT + 02:00) Harare, Pretoria is present from the fix for CSCtj95619, but the time zone (UTC + 02:00) Harare, Pretoria is missing.

For question #2, is due to a setting on the end of the Exchange. The mailboxes for the room have the DeleteSubject and AddOrganizerToSubject the value true properties.  Follow this guide #7 step to correct the problem:

    http://www.Cisco.com/en/us/docs/Telepresence/cts_manager/1_7/Admin/ctm_instalMS.html#wp1097531

Step 7 Set the "DeleteSubject" and "AddOrganizerToSubject" properties in room mailbox calendar to False. This sets the parameters for the meeting to be displayed on the IP Phone.

    For Exchange 2007: a. Set-MailboxCalendarSettings -Identity TelepresenceRoom9 -DeleteSubject $false b. Set-MailboxCalendarSettings -Identity TelepresenceRoom9 -AddOrganizerToSubject $false

    Thank you

  • Registration of telepresence

We have our configuration of the recording and the work, but I'm looking for the place to change the screen on registration form.  Instead of him occupy little space and say record I want just display a red dot.  I saw a video like this, but I can't find where I can change this.  Any ideas?

Cisco TelePresence Content Server v5.3 build 3316

    TMS - 13.2.1

    MCU - 5310

I understand that, you want to hide the red dot with the video "Recording" that appears when it is connected and show only a red dot on the screen?  And I assume you are using a TCS?

You can on your MCU, cut video of the TCS that will hide the splash video "Recording" from the server.  Then turn on your MCU the following setting make a red dot appear in the upper corner of the screen for everyone.

Settings > superimposed icons > record indicator

I would like to know if that's what you're looking for, or have something else in mind.
