Do the pano

When I try to do a pano of selected images, the software says that images must be saved first. If I can't use them or treat them, why and how can I save them? This command makes no sense what so ever.

How much file is choose you and what are the width and height of each dimensions?

  • Panos and HDR files lost in Lightroom

    Hi all

    I just finished editing photos for a client and that the folder contained a handful of - Pano and HDR - files that have been created in Lightroom.  I exported and shipped to the customer (* phew! *).  I then moved from one folder to another on my computer in the same hard disk, that they were imported (an internal hard drive, but not my HD operation).  Now all the panos and HDR files are GONE.  Previews are still in LR, but they have the '! ' at the top right of the thumbnail.  When I click it, it says "file not found.  You want to locate? "Who I looked everywhere and they aren't there.

    All the normal RAW files are there and all my edits seem to have been applied, it's just that the Panos and HDR files have disappeared!  Help!  Thank you!

    Well, it seems that you have encountered this bug: uploading photos on an external hard drive, lost photos

    This seems to be the first time that someone has experienced this bug where the move was between folders on the same disk.

    Like I said, just to stop mobile photos nearby, use of metadata to indicate the status of the photo.

  • Lightroom CC Pano Merge - internal error, impossible to merge

    I use the latest version of LR CC (as of April 17, 2016) on Win 7 machine that has only 8 GB of RAM. I am trying to create a fusion of pano 18-image using the RAW images captured with a Nikon D800e (about 40 MB/image).

    The preview worked fine and the merger sounds great.

    The actual merger lasted more than 4 hours, and then displays a message that an internal error has occurred error and unable to merge. No other information.

    I don't have a PS I have an old version of Giga Auto Pano that I have not updated. I prefer to use the option of merging LR for its simplicity. I am re - run the merger with 9 images and after an hour of running, the progress bar indicator is stuck in the same place as with the merger of 18-image after 4 hrs.

    Can you give me some guidance on what I should do next?

    Thanks in advance.

    My guess is that it is short-term memory as you merge if many and if high resolution images. Now a D800e in-memory image takes about 220 MB of memory if 16-bit. You will miss only 8 gigs pretty fast. It will not hold the entire pano put in memory, of course, but he'll need a substantial part. Have you tried to merge a subset of the pano to see if this is the problem? Sort of, that this machine can be updated.

    PS how can you have LR CC but not Photoshop?

  • Mounting of full 360 ° panoramas and 'protect the borders. "

    Hello

    I'm trying to optimize panoramas 360 ° from my camera Ricoh Theta S in Lightroom CC panorama.

    The problem with the images developed is a visible border/edge/line meeting between the left and the right border of the plain jpg. It's cause visible only when viewing the pano transformed in software or on a Web site. It looks like this:

    screenshot-pano-rand.jpg

    Is there a possibility to 'protect' the borders in some way when editing? Or y at - there a way to tell Lightroom manages a 360 ° panorama?

    I couldn't find an answer in the web. You always get tutorials for merging of the images for a pano, but never to Edit an already merged panorama, full.

    Thanks a lot for your help

    Christian

    If you want to change the panoramas at 360 degrees (I do a lot of those and like to post them on google maps) in Lightroom the cardinal rule is not to touch highlights, shadows, white, black, and clarity. Those are HDR tools that don't know how to wrap themselves around. You can use the tone curve. You can also make local changes, as long as you do not change the left and right border. You can also make filters graduate as long as you make it perfectly horizontal. Here is an example of a spherical pano I made final edits on in Lightroom: Google Maps. There is a graduated filter in the middle that I edited a bit by using brushes. My workflow for these is very involved, but most of the changes occur in Lightroom after stitching.

  • Panoramic rotation hangs or gives the "result will be to the great" despite the abundance of assigned unused RAM.

    It's 32-bit Elements11 and Elements13 64-bit for Windows.

    I do a lot of panoramas from several photos glued together with Photomerge function.

    When you try to set the slope horizont after merger with manual rotation I get the error "the result will be big" in 11 items on both Windows Vista 32-bit and 64-bit Windows of 8.1.

    8.1 winning RAM max preferences of use was set to 100% 11 elements being only 32-bit program and don't recognize 3Goctets - but I have 8 GB installed.

    When I select the elements of function "Rotate-> Autorotate" stands forever cpu consumption but it never ends the function (at least 30 minutes).

    So, I bought and installed 13 elements version on 64-bit Windows, to 8.1 since Elements13 is 64-bit and should be able to use more RAM available.

    But the same thing is happening here, I adjusted the preferences to use 85% of the 8 GB of available RAM but elements exceeds not using the the / 3Gb and stalls autorotation the same image.

    Autorotation is to always consume cpu power but does never extend the use of the RAM and never complete the rotation.

    The I am Image editing is saved without layers in a flat file jpg and 30Mbyte only in size, but the element points out (in the bottom of the picture frame) to be around 500 MB internally when opened for editing.

    Why do Elements13 not use all the RAM I assign in prefs, and why the items 11 and 13 stall autorotation without giving an error message appropriate?

    And why 13 elements in 64-bit version running on Windows 8.1 in the 64-bit version fail to autorotate or "manually turn" this relative small jpg 30 MB even when file?

    It is possible that has nothing to do with pse not really having enough ram, but the size in the size in pixels of the pano himself.

    As the editor of photoshop elements has a size limit in regards to the pixel dimensions which can be an image, 30 000 30,000 px x px, if you pano is close to this limit, rotation will add to the pixel dimensions

    and so possibly put the pixel dimensions exceeding this limit and this is the reason for the error "the result will be great."

    If you have to Image > resize > Image size, what are the Pixel Dimensions of the pano before trying to turn it?

  • Adaptive Wide Angle - control of the tools of coercion

    Hey friends,

    Having a few frustrating problems with this very powerful tool.

    I'm stitching a panorama made with pictures taken on a 35 mm lens and using the Adaptive Filter large right angle curved lines.

    Using the constraint from the outset tool does nothing, the lines don't naturally curve in the curves of the lines in my picture.

    If I set the setting for the fisheye, it helps a lot. Photos of tool constraint upward on the curves in the center of my pano, but two problems arise:

    (1) parts of my image get completely cut off for some reason I can't understand

    (2) when you use the tool of coercion to the edges of the image, the curve of the tool goes in the opposite direction of the curves of the line in my image, which actually makes the curves of my worst image rather than remedy.

    Is it possible to manually force the curves of the constraint tool? I use this wrong why? I should the registration form this?

    Thank you

    I think the do in LR will have the same question, as it's the same camera Raw conversion engine. To get the tool Angle wide adaptation to work, the pano should be created in PS. If all goes well, they will have a fix for the ACR & LR versions soon.

  • Change the external editor in LR4

    Hallo,

    I recently changed my CS4 CS6. Not when I open an image in LR4 and going to 'Edit in open as smart object', I can't select this option even HDR or the pano option. In my external editor there is still edit in Photoshop CS4 instead of PS CS6. My additional editor it I can choose my CS6 PS because I add the CS6 as an additional editor.

  • Large narrow Pano printing on Canon PixmaPro9000MII

    So I have created a pano to roughly 11 x 81 "and want to print the entire length on a Canon Pixma Pro 9000 MII.

    Same scale of adjustment produces a very narrow impression. Am I limited by the length of the image on paper 17 "? Or I can scale in another mode?

    If not, I guess I would need to add a roll of paper to print the entire width (11 "xlength of the image file)? I know that the printer does not accept the rolls, but he would not ignore length of paper under paper size settings custom? I've not yet printed, but when I choose the custom paper size it warns a printable range of 14 "width and height 26.61. And if it's limitations in the software, so how can I find this document, another implementation of a loader for a roll back of the printer?

    Hoping someone with experience with this printer can offer advice. Thank you

    Don't know about the Canon Pixma Pro 900 Mll, but the important question is the dimension of the pano.

    Length 81 '' is 6' 9 "long. Using a wheel of proportion scale, scale 81 "to 17" is only 21% of the original size.

    Means of the side 11 "are reduced to just a little more than 2.25 inches. If your final image will not be 17 x 2.25 inches. And this does not take into account if your printer can print to the edge of 11 x 17. paper.

    Both dimensions must be put to scale proportionally, or the image appears distorted.

    As a funhouse mirror, things will look very bold or very skinny.

    If you want to print 11 x 81, you will need to get a printer with roll paper or send it out to print.

  • What to choose? Samsung 850 pro or Photoshop pro 950 m2.

    I'm going to build my new PC, and the focus is Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator. I on side projects such as Cinema4D, Adobe Premiere and After effects. It will be a processor 6800K, a GTX 1070 (for some extra fun in spare time) and 32 GB of memory.

    I'm still nog certain to do the 850 or 950 m2 pro pro for my OS and programs.

    On paper and in the benchmarks, the 950 pro is destroying every SSD out there. But the downside is the Heath and the price.

    Second and this is my main question... you will see the difference between the 950 pro and the 850 pro when you make large files. For example, I was working in a digital painting 14FR. It's a spectacular size that would be printed for large windows. It was horrible to work in this file and it took me a lot of extra time, waiting on the computer.

    -What is the 950 pro worth his money or doe that speed up my work in just a few seconds?

    I hope someone can help out me.

    Roy

    When you work with large files, you must make sure that there is no I/O bottlenecks anywhere. In other words, you need a balanced system. I don't know what an SSD marginally more fast, by itself, will make much difference.

    First of all you need of enough RAM (32-128 GB) and a record of effective working configuration. If your system SSD has sufficient free capacity - and you need a lot for these filesizes, 100-150 GB at least - the fastest configuration is to have scratches on your system disk. With spinning disks, it is advisable to have zero on a separate disk.

    If you want maximum speed of I/O you might consider RAIDing two or more SSD, but then you must also have a separate RAID controller. Not sure if it is worth.

    FWIW, I have a 500 GB 850 as my system disk, using an i7-3820 and 32 GB of RAM. It works well for large files, I regularly work on the panos of 30 000 pixels or so without any problem. However, I would like to make a separate 240GB SSD set up for scratch, mainly to avoid wear on the system drive.

  • setChildIndex is overridden by embedded SWF

    Hello all I am trying to embed a SWF file in my project and place buttons of navigation above the SWF file. The SWF file is a 360 panoramic photo and in the past, this has worked fine, but now it seems the SWF is the substitution of my action script and pushing each other to the top layer on my navigation buttons. Here's my action script. Any help would be appreciated.

    Sets the layer to display for the items below

    setChildIndex (cockpitInstructions_mc, numChildren-1);

    setChildIndex (cockpitVideo_mc, numChildren-2);

    setChildIndex (cockpitVideo2_mc, numChildren-3);

    setChildIndex (CockpitHeader_mc, numChildren-4);

    setChildIndex (homeButton1_mc, numChildren-5);

    setChildIndex (infoButton1_mc, numChildren-6);

    Sets below unseen video clips

    cockpitVideo_mc.visible = false;

    cockpitVideo_mc.stop ();

    cockpitVideo2_mc.visible = false;

    cockpitVideo2_mc.stop ();

    Incorporates the pano .swf file

    import flash.net.FileReference;

    var requestVariable = new URLRequest ("test - 01.swf");

    var loaderVariable:Loader = new Loader();

    var booleanVariable:Boolean = false;

    loaderVariable.load (requestVariable);

    addChild (loaderVariable);

    setChildIndex (loaderVariable, numChildren-7);

    Button to return to the movie House

    homeButton1_mc.addEventListener (MouseEvent.CLICK, onhomeButton1Click);

    function onhomeButton1Click(e:MouseEvent):void

    {

    removeChild (homeButton1_mc);

    removeChild (CockpitHeader_mc);

    loaderVariable.unloadAndStop ();

    gotoAndPlay (1);

    }

    Button to play the clip info

    infoButton1_mc.addEventListener (MouseEvent.CLICK, oninfoButton1Click);

    function oninfoButton1Click(e:MouseEvent):void

    {

    cockpitVideo_mc.visible = true;

    cockpitVideo_mc.play ();

    }

    Button to play the second half of the clip information

    cockpitVideo_mc.addEventListener (MouseEvent.CLICK, oncockpitVideoClick);

    function oncockpitVideoClick(e:MouseEvent):void

    {

    cockpitVideo_mc.visible = false;

    cockpitVideo_mc.stop ();

    cockpitVideo2_mc.visible = true;

    cockpitVideo2_mc.play ();

    }

    Deletes the video scene when the user clicks on

    cockpitVideo2_mc.addEventListener (MouseEvent.CLICK, oncockpitVideo2Click);

    function oncockpitVideo2Click(e:MouseEvent):void

    {

    cockpitVideo2_mc.visible = false;

    cockpitVideo2_mc.stop ();

    }

    Timer to delete the video clip instructions

    var minuteTimer:Timer = new Timer (1, 6500);

    minuteTimer.addEventListener (TimerEvent.TIMER_COMPLETE, onTimerComplete);

    minuteTimer.start ();

    function onTimerComplete(event:TimerEvent):void

    {

    removeChild (cockpitInstructions_mc);

    }

    It turns out that it was something in the external SWF files was the substitution of the numbering of the layer. Experimented with different 360 pano software and found this garden Gnome Pano is the only one that worked. Didn't change the setChildIndex lines.

  • Limit distortion in Photoshop?

    I'm trying to stitch a panorama composed of about 60 images. I expect to try the new Adobe's Warp limit feature, but unfortunately the pano size is too big for Lightroom or Camera RAW to manage. I managed to get the images stitched by sending to Photoshop, but it doesn't seem to be a way to use Warp to limit at this stage.

    Is it possible to stitch a panorama of the 'traditional' way in Photoshop, which gives a stitched image composed of several layers of photo - and continue to use limit Warp?

    Thank you!

    Brad

    Hi HoltArts,

    Now I do not think that there will be an option in Photoshop, you have this traditional updates page you can select merging images such as Auto, Perspective, cylindrical

  • Photomerge Lightroom CC - unknown error

    Hello

    When I try to use LR to merge pictures for a panorama I get a message "unknown error occurred" very soon after starting the process.  This has only started happening since I swapped a Nikon a Canon D 760 and so now use instead of .dng .cr2 files.  I can do all the rest of the photos, but to merge them, I need to convert them into .tif first and avoid rather have to do that if I can.  I don't use LR for HDR but tried to merge with an HDR and who also does not and gives me the same error message.

    Relevant details;

    Computer is a Toshiba Satellite L - 50, all drivers updated on weekends (including graphics), 8 GB RAM, Core i7 2.60 GHz, Radeon 2 GHz graphics card and running Windows 10

    Version of Lightroom CC 2015.3

    I tried to disable 'Use graphics processor' and it makes no difference

    Fusion works always with the Nikon .dng files

    I increased video and camera raw cache 5 GB sizes each and also served the two

    Canon EOS D 760 and lens is Canon EF24 - 105mm f / 4L IS USM

    As the issue began only since I changed to the Canon camera, I guess it has to do with .cr2 files, but I'm at a loss for what is why this might be the case because LR load the images very well.  I noticed looking in the raw data files are truncated to 5334 x 4000, which I suppose is a setting in the camera (haven't checked, yet to learn about it) - don't know if that's relevant or not, but you never know!

    I expect ideas or suggestions of things to try anything that anyone could be able to offer a potential solution would be appreciated.

    Thank you

    Phil

    5334 x 4000 is an aspect ratio of 4 x 3 instead of the native proportions of 3 x 2 camera.   Check the proportions in the camera settings and change it to 3 x 2 and do a few test shots to see if the pano works.
