    Hello..

Safe Mode boot removes the system caches that can help after an OS X day or level.

Upper left corner of your screen, click on the Apple  > Shut Down.

After your Mac stops, wait 10 seconds, then press the power button.

As soon as you hear the startup tone, hold down the SHIFT key. You must press the SHIFT key as soon as possible once you hear the startup tone, but not before.

Release the SHIFT key when you see the gray Apple logo and progress indicator.

Once you are in Mode without failure, return to the menu Apple . In the drop-down list, click: reboot

When I click on it I get the error and the hourglass cursor message "Windows Explorer is not responding... "I then have to click"restart", which makes the taskbar disappear for a few seconds before returning (usually without my sound icon).

The laptop turns off when it is connected to the electric network with & without the battery and when running only on battery, so I excluded all power problem.

I have considered it heats up too, but I use a block of cooling with built-in fans and has not himself in a few minutes after being hit not 24 hours, so I'm not sure that's the problem.

I think that the problem of overheating.
The fact is that the laptop would be down automatically stops in order to avoid that the pieces of equipment against damage.
In most cases this problem can be solved very easily. Using a jet of compressed air, you can remove the dust from the cooling modules and fans.
I clean my fans from time to time, because I noticed a higher temperature and the laptop was a little stronger.

    Salvation;

I run a game program, (Medieval: Total War) that sporadically stops or freezes / crashes my laptop. Sometimes it works OK and sometimes it crashes.

I think it might be a graphic driver problem nVidia, even if I run other programs of game with higher spec requirements.

Is there any where on the Toshiba site, I can actually download new drivers? I searched the Toshiba site and found that there is some possible updates but no installation to actually achieve the download itself... confusing.

  • Laptop HP Pavilion 15-n073sl: unable to shut down the pc

Fifteen days ago, my computer (which I've updated for Windows 10 on 16 June) updated itself last built Windows 10, since then 4 times out of 5 I'm not able to close properly.

I close all the programs the I click on start and closing of the option. It starts to shut, but when the screen goes black, it freezes and stuck there with all the leads keybord and internal fan on so I have to force shutdown by the Start button.

I spoke with the support of Microsoft and they told me that it depends on the fact that HP has not released a driver for the new version of Windows 10 (build 1607 14393.187 SO).

... What am I what to do now? I downloaded the update from the HP Support Assistant software, but it is empty of any update. On the page of the driver of my laptop on the HP site, I found some drivers, but I don't know if I have to download them all, or I don't know.

    Hope for more assistance,

    Thanks to that answer.

In the next window, click on "Change settings that are currently unavailable" (close), then Remove the check mark from the box against 'Turn on a quick start (recommended) '.  Click on the button Save the settings, and then close all open windows.  Stop the laptop by right clicking the icon in the Start Menu, select prompt (Admin) and click 'Yes' to the uac prompt.

Type (or copy and paste) the following command (including spaces) and click Enter.

    Shutdown /s /t 0

Start Notepad and when reloaded windows, hold down the Windows key and press R

In the run box, type devmgmt.msc and press ENTER.

In the Device Manager window, expand System devices, and then scroll to the Intel Management Engine Interfaceentry, cela a right click and select Properties.  Select the driver tab and select uninstall driver - and then proceed with the uninstall.

Restart the computer and let Windows idle for 5 to 10 minutes just to give time to reload the driver imei.

Restart the computer again (fast start disabled for the moment leave) and see if it will now shut down properly.

If so, reactivate a quick start and check if it will always stop Ok.

    Hello

The base system device is usually drive card or PCMCIA slot or both. Some manufacturers of laptop to group a set of drivers and call "Chipset" even if it includes more than the chip set.
I guess you didn't install the driver chipset or you have it install but in the wrong order. The chipset driver must be installed first.

Well, windows want to stop because some background processes are running or due to a failed OS. I guess that this problem doesn't occur with the Toshiba Recovery CD because all the drivers are installed properly.

    On the procedure of BIOS:
Please check this page from Toshiba. You will find an instructions how to upgrade the BIOS.
    IOS http://eu.Computers.Toshiba-Europe.com/cgi-bin/ToshibaCSG/FAQ.jsp?z=234&service=eu&from=faq_selection&CFID=B & FID = TRO0000000b07

But please note: the incorrect BIOS or an incorrect procedure may damage the motherboard. First, you need to check if the new facility with the restore CD will solve the problem before you start the update of the BIOS!

  • Stuck on the screen saying 'Shutting Down' after trying to install SP2 on Vista

So I got problems with my Windows Vista. The day passed or it would freeze completely, all programs not responding. I looked around, and he said that a possible solution would be to install SP2. So I did. As he installed the first of 3 updates, it got stuck at 44% for an hour. Then, she moved to say Shutting Down, which was during the last two hours.

I don't know what to do now. During the installation, he said do not put off your computer, and while it is said that is no longer, I'm still hesitant to do. Any ideas on what I should do? In addition, would set the gel I described previously by SP2? Or do you know of anything that could be causing it?

    recovery operation.

4.) all changes to your system until the problem was happening:

I think I have a type of malware or something because my computer started running slower and I continue to be redirected to Web sites randomly when I use Google or Bing.  Records on the right side of my Start menu as 'Computer' and 'My Documents' disappeared.  I also get this an update for Windows live which stops at 57%.

    Problem:

There is no restore point on my computer if I want to perform a system recovery back to the image of the manufactuer.  I downloaded the USB recovery Flash Disk Utility for my model.  Now I want to recover my computer via USB, but when I run the advanced recovery mode he's trying to restart my computer.  Given that my computer will not shut down properly, I end up having to press the power button until it stops my computer and the recovery does not continue when I start my computer again.

I tried to use F11, but then I just end up on a screen that says either press on enter to choose to continue with Windows 7, press tab to move to the bottom of the list or press ESC for more options.  I tried all three and they eventually freeze the screen and keys are starting to make a Summit high-pitched beep when I try to press one, so I end up having to force my laptop to stop.

I also tried to make recovery by pressing F8 and then choosing the "repair your computer option.  Which causes my computer screen go black, and I end up having to force it to close again.

Is it possible to restore my computer to factory settings?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    JES

    Hi, Jes:

Yes, it would be the battery.  The relatively heavy bar that is normally removed retainers of slide.

From what you described, I am afraid that your PC needs a lot of work (probably a bad motherboard), and you'd be much better to buy a new laptop or refurbished, than to pay a lot of money to fix yours.

I guess you would have to pay more than $200 for repair.

I'm sorry this is probably not what you wanted to hear.

    Best regards

  • During "shut down", I accidentally turned off the power strip to the desktop before to close the process finished. This is a problem.

Since this event, start working normally, but after about 5 minutes the PC will 'freeze' and nothing works.  Even the stop the clock!  I can start and run the PC in safe MODE without any problem, even Shut Down works.  But, in normal mode, if I click "Shut Down", before the 5-minute 'freeze' occurs, the PC hang in the process of closing and never closed and turns off.

In Safe Mode, I turned off a number of pilots to start, but it did not help.

I studied 'system restore', but there is NO "restore points".

    Help, please.

    Hello

Make sure you have the latest vista drivers for your computer which you can get your computer manufacturers Web site

go to their website and look for a driver and software download section

Enter your model number for the last look drivers vista then download and install

    also run the sfc/scannow command.

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/929833

Use the (SFC.exe) System File Checker tool to determine which file is causing the problem and then replace the file. To do this, follow these steps:

    1. Open an elevated command prompt. To do this, click Start, click principally madeprograms,Accessories, right-clickguest, and then clickrun as administrator. If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password, or clickallow.
    2. Type the following command and press ENTER:
      sfc/scannow

The sfc/scannow command analyzes all protected system files and replaces incorrect versions with appropriate Microsoft versions

If SFC detects the main problems it can't fix you may need to borrow a Microsoft dvd vista not an acer, HP etc. recovery disk and do a repair installation

read the below tutorial on how to perform a repair installation
