document won't delete

A document in my hp 3100 don't delete or cancel, and it's the only thing that prints.  How can I get rid of him?  I just changed the black ink cartridge, and the blocked document is the one with black and blue and yellow lines, which shows that the cartridge works.  Status of the document shows that deleting... impression.  If anyone can help?  Bovarie

Hello

In Control Panel, open administrative tools and select abuse.  Scroll down to the print spooler service, right click and select Properties, then click the Stop button.  Now search for C:\Windows\System32\Spool\PRINTERS, then delete the work inside this folder - you may need to click a command prompt to get the authority to open the PRINTERS folder.

Restart the computer and you should find that the document has been deleted.

Kind regards

  • Document won't print or delete

I have a Lexmark s600 network printer. A document is in the queue and do not print or delete. No other documents will be printed. How can I get to the print spooler to remove the offending document?

  • Printer won't delete or cancel documents in queue.

    Check the free disk space

and help of the printer and Mr. fixit, no solution

To clear the print queue, stop the print spooler service and delete all the pending print files.
You cannot delete all print jobs in the queue so that the Print Spooler Service is running.
To stop the Print Spooler Service, click Start, run and enter in the box:
    services.msc
Click OK to open the Services Applet.
Look for the Print Spooler Service, right-click and choose Stop Service.
Using Windows Explorer, navigate to the following folder (assuming that Windows is installed on your C drive):
    C:\WINDOWS\system32\spool\PRINTERS
Remove all queued print jobs from the PRINTERS folder (select and delete all the files) so the PRINTERS folder is without waiting for print jobs.
Restart your system to make sure everything is cleared up and that the Print Spooler Service restarts automatically on reboot.
Now that you know how to enter in the Services Applet, you can check and make sure that the column of the status of the Print Spooler Service is "started" and the folder where are going the spooling print jobs is really empty (until you print something else).

Do, or do not. There is no test.

  • Printer won't delete/remove document

I recently bought a new processor and now have developed a problem with my print.  The print job goes to my HP 3 in 1 and if I need to stop printing before completed and give the Undo command, the computer will always show the entire document rather than stop it.  How can I solve this problem?  Thank you

When you cancel a print job from the computer, the computer no longer send data to the printer. Any data that has already been sent to the printer will always print. If you have a new computer, this can be processing print job and send to the printer faster than you are accustomed. To stop the printing of the data in the memory of the printer, press the button cancel on the printer itself.

  • Turned on iCloud, documents have been deleted

I activated the Office & records Documents in iCloud on MacOS Sierra thinking that my items are copied in iCloud. Rather, they were removed and placed in folders on iCloud. Is it possible to use iCloud as a backup rather than a replacement? Seems a little crazy to delete my stuff. After all, I use these items on my desktop and my documents ALL THE TIME.

If you say that they have been placed in the folder on iCloud, then it is not deleted, correct?

Hi Gerard, you have moved away from using the PDF Viewer integrated into the Adobe Acrobat Viewer? This article has the steps to do this if you have not tried, and also shows where you can confirm who is used: How to disable the built-in PDF Viewer and use another Viewer.

When you save a PDF file using the built-in Viewer, use the download button the toolbar above the PDF file (it looks like an arrow pointing down). This can be more reliable than the command save the Page under.

When you save a PDF file using the Adobe Acrobat Viewer, when you move the pointer of the mouse down the document, a floating toolbar should appear with a drive icon. (Or if you press the ESC key, a toolbar should appear above the document.) Use the drive icon on the Adobe Acrobat toolbar to save the document.

  • HP Officejet 6500 printer - it won't delete a print job in the queue

I tried to stop the print spooler, went to C:\Windows\System32\Spool\PRINTERS to remove the document it but this folder is empty so nothing to delete.  I even downloaded HP Print and Scan doctor, but that doesn't seem to work.  Not to mention how many times I have retsatred the PC and printer... ideas?

Hi @sallyUK and thanks for getting back to me!

I appreciate you providing this info!

First of all, I would recommend restarting the print spooler, the instructions which I've included below:

    Solve printer problems

If this does not resolve the issue, I would recommend the following:

First of all, I would say uninstalling the software of the printer.

Once it is uninstalled, I suggest you put your system in clean boot mode in the configuration of Microsoft.  You can do this by following this document: How to perform a clean boot in Windows.

Once the computer is in clean boot mode, I would suggest to reinstall the HP printer install wizard for Windows.

Please let me know how it goes!
