Printer won't delete/remove document

I recently bought a new processor and now have developed a problem with my print.  The print job goes to my HP 3 in 1 and if I need to stop printing before completed and give the Undo command, the computer will always show the entire document rather than stop it.  How can I solve this problem?  Thank you

When you cancel a print job from the computer, the computer no longer send data to the printer. Any data that has already been sent to the printer will always print. If you have a new computer, this can be processing print job and send to the printer faster than you are accustomed. To stop the printing of the data in the memory of the printer, press the button cancel on the printer itself.

I have a 3 pro Windows 8.1 running surface.  My printer is HP Deskjet 1050.  I printed a document, but the queue of the printer says that the document was still printing.  I tried to delete the document, and the queue has written that it is deleting.  I deleted all the documents in the queue.  It remains, said it is deleting.  I restarted the Surface, the printer off, disconnected and then restarted and all connected.  Always the deletion.  I deleted the printer as a device, but when I add again, it comes with a print queue that is always remove only a single document.

I am up to date on all updates.

What should I do?  I can not print anything else, until it disappeared from the queue.

    Hello

    Try the following.

From the desktop, hold down the Windows key and press R.  In the run window, type services.msc and press to enter.

Scroll down to the print spooler service, right click and select Properties, then click the Stop button.

Now search for C:\Windows\System32\Spool\PRINTERS, then delete the work inside this folder - you may need to click a command prompt to get the authority to open the PRINTERS folder.

Restart the computer and you should find that the document has been deleted.

  • Printer won't delete or cancel documents in queue.

    Check the free disk space

and help of the printer and Mr. fixit, no solution

To clear the print queue, stop the print spooler service and delete all the pending print files.
You cannot delete all print jobs in the queue so that the Print Spooler Service is running.
To stop the Print Spooler Service, click Start, run and enter in the box:
    services.msc
Click OK to open the Services Applet.
Look for the Print Spooler Service, right-click and choose Stop Service.
Using Windows Explorer, navigate to the following folder (assuming that Windows is installed on your C drive):
    C:\WINDOWS\system32\spool\PRINTERS
Remove all queued print jobs from the PRINTERS folder (select and delete all the files) so the PRINTERS folder is without waiting for print jobs.
Restart your system to make sure everything is cleared up and that the Print Spooler Service restarts automatically on reboot.
Now that you know how to enter in the Services Applet, you can check and make sure that the column of the status of the Print Spooler Service is "started" and the folder where are going the spooling print jobs is really empty (until you print something else).

Do, or do not. There is no test.

    Hello

Welcome to the Microsoft Community Forums.

I ask you to answer this question, so that we can better help you:

You try to delete the document or the print job?

If you try to delete the print job, I ask you to try the following steps:

Turn on the printer and check if the problem is resolved.

Method 1: Check the print spooler service dependencies and check if they are started.

Print spooler is a software program that temporarily stores the disk printing hard or in memory until the printer is ready to print.

    a. press the Windows key + R and type services.msc in the run dialogue box.

    b. locate the print spooler.

    c. right-click on print spooler , and then select PTECHNIC.

    d. click the dependencies tab.

Find dependencies in the print spooler , and ensure that all the dependency services are running and set to Automatic.

Method 2: If you've waited long to print a document, or if you see an error message about the print spooler, you may have to restart the spooler to print on your computer.

    a. press the Windows key + R and type cmd in the Run dialog box.

    b. at the command prompt, type net stop spooler , and then press enter.

You will receive a message when the spooler is stopped. Now you must empty the queue.

    c. click Start , type %SYSTEMROOT%\system32\spool\PRINTERS and press ENTER.

This will bring up the file. Delete all the files in there. (This does not damage anything.) Now, you have to restart the spooler.

    d. return to the command prompt and type net start spooler, press Enter.

Please get back to us with the State of the question.

You don't say what the hp Solution Center tells you to do, but it almost always works:

    1. Start > run > net stop spooler > OK
    2. Open Windows Explorer and go to C:\Windows\system32\spool\PRINTERS delete all files in this folder.  Do not delete the PRINTERS folder itself.
    3. Start > run > net start spooler > OK
