  This is what happens when you use an installation disc OEM on a computer that is not made for the OEM installation. You will get odd problems that you indicated and see when you use it. What is your computer notebook product number perhaps other can you direct to driver HP site to get the correct drivers. But nothing to stay in the gap using other computers OEM install which does not correspond to install it, you will create more problems, then you can fix. Also find or buy an install W7 disk for installation clean and made it and who will do more to get your laptop working again.

  So I have a LaserJet M1536 I installed the drivers on my computer to WIndows 7 (64-bit). It worked fine for printing until last night and I can't for the life of me it works again.

  I have the computer plugged into the network, and it worked until I tried to scan a document. It would not work, and then after that nothing would print. The e-print on a mobile device will work but not from my windows machine. I tried to run the doctore scan and it says everything is working.

  I then uninstalled the drivers and I downloaded the latest version of the HP technical support.  Still doesn't solve it.

  After that, I have disabled the firewall on the computer (the windows firewall and the firewall that comes with my suite Norton anti-virus. Still no luck.

  I restarted the printer, my PC, my network (modem and router) several times.

  Is someone can you please help me solve my problem, because it is really holds my productivity and I spend a lot of time on this issue.

  What I am doing wrong? The only thing I have not tried is assign a static IP address to the printer.

  What type of router you use, or you use a server like the one mentioned post?

  When you add the printer port, must be a TCP/IP port.

  I have a few other things you can try.

  Power cycle the router, restart the computer, then on the printer.

  Check the IP address, to ensure that it is the same thing.

  Then run the Add Printer Wizard.

  You can always restore your computer to an earlier era where everything was working properly. It could be a Windows Update or a router that has caused this problem.

  For Windows 7 system restore.

  Looks like Windows is confused and looking for a file that is no longer there. Try using the brush included in the CD or download.

  Of the original printer installation CD:
  1. Insert the CD in the drive and then cancel Setup
  2. open my computer and click right then on the CD from the drive and select open
  3 open the Util folder
  4 open the CCC folder
  5. run the L4.bat uninstall_ for computers not HP. For HP computers, run the Uninstall_L3.bat
  6. once the uninstall is complete, restart the computer

  To be honest I m not an expert in the increase in performance of the SSD, but according to the Wikipedia article, TRIM has been implemented in Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2 and came out with the final versions of these operating systems in October 2009.
  It seems former SSD drives have firmware updates, otherwise the new command will be ignored.

  According to Wikipedia, there are utilities that can send TRIM commands manually.
  These utilities are available from various manufacturers such as Intel or G.Skill.

  In General if the Upgrade Advisor does not work, your XP machine is not appropriate for the upgrade. But without knowing anything on your computer, it is impossible to say more precisely. Is it an OEM machine (HP, Dell, etc.)? If Yes, go to the tech OEM Web site and see if anything but XP is supported on your machine. If there is no drivers for Vista/Windows 7, leave XP on it. MS - MVP - Elephant Boy computers - don't panic!

  Thanks for posting, as you might expect, there are troubleshooting you can undertake to check why the download does not work. It is highly possible that the source that you have downloaded from cannot be no longer works. Is there a site that you can check to see if it does not work for them either? Also where it is downloaded from?

  Otherwise please see if scanitemswhendone is enabled: change what Firefox does when you click on or download a file

  If download hangs at the last minute (just before reaching 100%), the cause may be an antivirus software that tries to parse the file and during this process the instance of Firefox crashes.

  To resolve the issue, try disabling the analysis as follows:

  1. In the address bar, type Subject: config and press enter. The subject: config "this might void your warranty!" warning page may appear.
  2. Click on I'll be careful, I promise!, to continue on the subject: config page. A list of parameters must appear
  3. Filter the list by typing in the search bar at top. Enter scanWhenDone. Now you should find the "browser.download.scanWhenDone" preference.
  4. Double-click this preference to set the value to false.
  5. Then, try to download something and see if it still crashes.
