Dozens of event ID 10016 DCOM errors

I receive dozens of event ID 10016 DCOM errors. For example:

Machine default permission settings grant Local Activation permission for the application server COM with the CLSID

Someone has an idea, what happens?

I thank in advance.

The friendly name of a Windows computer, it's how a user recognizes the machine on the network. The friendly name appears also in some software applications and system information. Change the friendly name can be done on the desktop or in the registry.

Same thing here. Grayed. Windows 8.1 seems to fill the observer of events with many more errors than previous versions.

Edit: OK, discovered why it is grayed out. There are 2 reg key, you must set permissions before going to the Configuration of DCOM in component services. The CLSID key and the APPID key.

From another forum, although it applies to a different application, same principle:

    1. open Regedit.
    2. go in HKEY_Classes_Root\CLSID\ * CLSID *.
Note: * CLSID * stand for the ID that appears in your event viewer error. In your case, it is {C2F03A33-21F5-47FA-B4BB-156362A2F239}.
    3. right-click on it and select authorization.
    4. click on Advance and change owner to administrator. Also click on the box that will appear below the threshold of owner.
    5. apply a full control.
    6. close the tab, then go to HKEY_LocalMachine\Software\Classes\AppID\ * APPID *.
Note: * AppID * is the ID that appears in your event viewer. In your case, it is {316CDED5-E4AE-4B15-9113-7055D84DCC97}.
7 right-click on it and select authorization.
    8. click on Advance and change the owner to administrators.
    9. click on the box that will appear below the line owner.
    10. click on apply and grant full control to the administrators.
    11. close all tabs and navigate to the administration tool.
    12. open component services.
    13. click on the computer, click my computer, and then click DCOM.
14 find the corresponding service that appears on the display of the error.
    15. right-click on it, and then click Properties.
    16. click the Security tab, and then click Add a user. Add the SYSTEM and then apply.
    17. check enable local.

Then use the relevant keys here and the DCOM Config utility should give you access greyed onareas:

    CLSID:

    {D63B10C5-BB46-4990-A94F-E40B9D520160}

Windows XP hangs for about 2 minutes after I click on start-> stop. So it takes 2 minutes to XP display the shutdown options.  I checked the event viewer, and it seems to point the problem to some sort of DCOM error. I have provided a screen shot of this error in the event viewer. Unfortunately, it is in Finnish, but it is essentially saying that 'a server (981... '. In addition, to give the stop or restart the pc, a faster time, go to run, type: regedit

    In regedit, expand: HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Control Panel configuration/locate & L.click on

AutoEndTasks, go to edit, modify, set to 1 between 0 and family on regedit.

This gives faster response, but the problem lies in the performance of services, Msconfig

If Acronis reports bad blocks on the disk, then you should replace the disk as soon as possible.  Blocks of bad sectors/bad is not repairable, and once they begin to appear that they tend to behave like a snowball rolling downhill, you will get several of them with increasing speed.  You may lose your data if you keep using this drive.

Anyone know what the h___ that's it?

    Hi Al Adams,.

Thanks for posting your question in the Microsoft Community Forum.

Based on the information, you receive the event 10, WMI and error 0 x 80041003 on Windows 7 computer.

It would be useful that you can answer these questions to help you best.

    1. when exactly you receive the error messages?

    2. you remember changes to the computer before the show?

This problem occurs if the WMI filter is accessible without the necessary permissions. To resolve this problem, refer to the article and try the steps:

10 event ID is logged in the application log after you install Service Pack 1 for Windows 7 or Windows Server 2008 R2

    It will be useful.

Let us know if you need help with Windows related issues. We will be happy to help you.

  • Error event ID: 10016

Original title: cannot find the registry Announces: HKCR/CLsid/clsid value/local server 32.

Hi, I am running xp pro svc pk3 ie8. Often, I receive the error message, id 10016 source DCOM. Research shows the majority to go to regedit, look to hkcr/clsid/clsid value/local server32. I can get to clsid, but there is no entry for the clsid value. Componet in dcom cnfg services I have permissions to all donor trying to correct this error. When I go to dcom cnfg, I receive a warning two times that something has not been saved to the root of classis hk and I want to save it. I say yes every time and then I get the 159 objects and are looking for the very name, which is not listed.

I am the only user of this machine, how can I give permission or fix this error?

Thanks in advance for any help.

  • DCOM error Win2K3 SP1 + Update Wizard permissions

    Hi all -

I imported all of a subscriber unit into one of the servers (4.0 (5)) I updated Windows 2003 SP1 and run the Wizard permissions updates which corrects the DCOM problem with master media yesterday. I have attached the error in this post. The error is DCOM event 10016 - machine default permission settings do not have local activation for the COM server application... I was on HIS web of the unity Server authenticated with the administrator account on the unit. I was logged on workstation running IE with domain\userid which corresponds to a Subscriber on the server and has a COS administrator in the unit. The Subscriber of the unit, I imported was imported without other mistakes. Any help would be appreciated. Media master controls also work OK on this server.

    Thanks in advance.

    1 change Dcom more.

I also had to add the same parameter to AvDSGlobalCatalog to get the search features in SAWeb at work

  • Win2k3 Server IIS SChannel event 36871 "a fatal error occurred when creating the SSL server credential information."

To make a long story short, I went to use client software that I use a few times a week and it would not connect to the server, complaining not found or number of SSL.  When research various dcom, schannel errors errors in the event logs and a few others, I systematically over the last 24 hours cleared up the boot is so now clean (no time starting network on startup and no message on the service could not start).  It seems that something has happened a month ago after that the server crashed where at least the first DCOM messaged presented themselves, but everything has been working well until it didn't.  The dcom patches end up having to do with the ...\rsa\machinekeys (and the way that it) had a few "account unknown" in it, I cleaned everything that (at a time since I removed all items in this folder, but then put their subsequent return (by crushing all except 2 after creating a new certificate), had to reinstall virtual server and iis 6) , at some point as well.  In any case, I'm at the point where everything works (no event log errors/etc) from startup until you try to connect to the IIS 6 Server using https:... at this point, you get the event SChannel 36871 "a fatal error occurred when creating the SSL server credential information." (no additional information) is connected and the client browser cannot access the site (you can keep trying and it does not work but no event log entry more).  So that's where I'm sitting, http: works fine, https: No.  Certificate appears in the default Web site correct, said valid and possesses the private key, port 443 is there, all addresses by default, netstat shows port 443 same process id as the port 80.  I can't find a copy of SSLDiag do test to see if that prove something?

So I need help what is not going to get this new job of fixing.  What should I do?

    Thank you!

    Hello

    New OS installation didn't help?

Well, maybe something wrong with the RAM?
Run tests of RAM using the memtest86 +.
Maybe this tool allows to detect certain errors

But unfortunately, the message displayed in your ad says nothing to me :(
