Windows XP freezes for 2 minutes after clicking on start - > shutdown (DCOM error?)

Windows XP hangs for about 2 minutes after I click on start-> stop. So it takes 2 minutes to XP display the shutdown options.  I checked the event viewer, and it seems to point the problem to some sort of DCOM error. I have provided a screen shot of this error in the event viewer. Unfortunately, it is in Finnish, but it is essentially saying that 'a server (981... '. A4D) could not save with DCOM in a given period of time)

Looks like a lot of unnecessary services on your pc... To change, go to run, type:

services.msc in msc, scroll through, double-click one, review its properties...

In addition, to give the stop or restart the pc, a faster time, go to run, type: regedit

In regedit, expand: HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Control Panel configuration/locate & L.click on

AutoEndTasks, go to edit, modify, set to 1 between 0 and family on regedit.

This gives faster response, but the problem lies in the performance of services, Msconfig

also gives details...

    Hi Comintern,

    ·         Did you do changes on the computer before the show?

    ·         You receive an error message or error code?

Follow the suggestions below for a possible solution:

    Method 1:

Step 1: Start in safe mode and check if the problem persists.

Start your computer in safe mode

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-Vista/start-your-computer-in-safe-mode

Step 2: If the problem does not occur in safe mode, you can put your system to boot (in normal mode) to solve the problem.

How to troubleshoot a problem by performing a clean boot in Windows Vista or in Windows 7

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/929135

Note: After troubleshooting, be sure to configure the computer to start as usual as mentioned in step 7 in the above article.

Method 2: I also suggest that you scan your computer with the Microsoft Security Scanner, which would help us to get rid of viruses, spyware and other malicious software.

The Microsoft Security Scanner is a downloadable security tool for free which allows analysis at the application and helps remove viruses, spyware and other malware. It works with your current antivirus software.

Note: The Microsoft Safety Scanner ends 10 days after being downloaded. To restart a scan with the latest definitions of anti-malware, download and run the Microsoft Safety Scanner again.

Important: While running scan on the hard drive if bad sectors are found on the hard drive when scanning try to repair this area if all available on which data may be lost.

System type: 32-bit operating system, x 64 based processor

    ========================

One day, I was playing CS, everything's fine, it works well, I know that my pc is not the best for playing games, I'm running with fps constant of 40-60 which is not obtained, but not bad either. I removed my battery of laptop, but kept plugged in because I know that if you kept it loads during use, it can decrease the life of the battery power. A few hours later in the game, my laptop just turned off. I don't know why, maybe the charger has been moved and unplugged then I checked. He was actually plugged in nice and safe, and I don't think it was the cause of the laptop to turn off or maybe it was. Then I turned on my laptop. Every thing seems fine but the 'Welcome' screen any longer that it was. A minutes and continues the 'welcome' to display. I know something was wrong because who usually took only a few seconds to load. I turned off my pc and opened it again. Nothing had changed, it is still stuck on the Welcome screen. So I waited a little longer, now 3 minutes, I saw the circle of loading thingy is frozen and non-mobile.

I'm a little worried that I just broke my laptop, I tried a few corrections in the internet, but I can't find. I went advanced startup settings and did a system restore and choose the settings of only a few days.
The system recovery succeeded. I restarted my PC, I was so happy that I fixed it, for so I thought it was. I open Google chrome, but as soon as I pressed the Enter key everything froze. Same office does not. I restarted my pc again. The start-up took a little longer. After going on the office a few minutes later the pc simply froze again. I can't do anything. I've been waiting so he could meet again for 10 minutes and still frozen. I restarted my pc and was able to put it in SafeMode before it froze again. And everything works fine in safe mode. I can still surf the internet but can't actually play cs: go in what is sad. I can still play undertale but which is nice. When I put back it in normal mode, it keeps freezing after a few minutes.

If someone out there who can help me understand what causes this and how to solve my problem I would appreciate it a lot! :)

Too long and did not read?: my PC turns off suddenly, when I boot it its stuck at welcome screen upward.

Did a system restore and solved the problem but now it keeps freezing and not responding do not.

Set it in safe mode and everything is fine but only limited.

If this isn't the case, then run Dism/online/Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth to repair any corruption component store, restart the PC later and try the sfc/scannow command.

If still no, then try using ONE OPTION above to run the command sfc/scannow at the start

If still no, then you could do a Refresh of Windows 8, or run a System Restore using a restore point dated before the wrong file occurred to fix. You may need to repeat doing a restore of the system until you find a restore point that is older that may work.

If not yet, then you can use the steps in the TIP box in the section THREE OPTION to manually replace the files SFC could not fix.

PROBLEM: The Thunderbird program is slow to activate. When you click the Thunderbird icon, I expect Thunderbird Inbox screen to appear in a few seconds. I got am HP Pavilion 17-e049wm Notebook PC product #E0J75UAR for about 4 weeks now.  I bought it refurbished.  A week ago I started having this problem.  3, e, d and c keys do not work when I first start the computer all of the other keys work.  Nothing happens when they are pressed.   Sometimes I will restart the computer and they work again, other times they won't, but often will start working if I left the computer set for about five minutes after the start.

The computer is spotlessly clean.  I've only used a dozen times or more.  Nothing has been spilled on the keyboard.

Sounds like software for me, but what?

I am running Windows 8.1 and no programs are running at startup, with the exception of a program start button, but the problem began weeks after installing that.

    Hello!

Whenever I click on an option in Photoshop CC, the menu button is frozen on the screen. I will attach a few pictures to better illustrate the problem.

This is my screen after the opening and closing of a file. The respective part of the menu remains frozen on the screen:

After clicking on a plugin button in the menu "filter":

    ps_cc_menu_freezes_2.jpg

It happens every time on any button. The only way to erase the screen-ahem, the only way I know - is through the control panel screen resolution. I just have to go to a different resolution in both directions, and it works. The thing is, this bug will come back as soon as I use the menu, which is, thus, very often because I rely heavily on some plugins or actions with no shortcuts.

I have Windows 7 64 bit, an ATI Radeon HD 6500 M graphics card and a Bamboo of Wacom tablet.

I have to guess a video driver problem (upgrade from AMD site), or a utility program that mess with menu design and has a few bugs.

I support for a local photography studio and built all of their computers. One of their photo editing machines faced some weird problems I can't solve.

It is currently running Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit. About two months ago the mainly the user complained that a right-click on a folder or a file on the desktop would cause the computer to freeze. She also noted that devices and printers would not have been responsible. We finally just did a clean install of Windows, and that seemed to fix the problem...

    .. .for a while.

About two weeks, the same two problems returned, now it is intermittent. The user declares every morning, she has him restart the computer several times, but then everything works very well for the rest of the day. But while it comes in the next morning, and it does the same thing.

I tried manually reset the BIOs, turn on Bluetooth Services (even if that computer does not all bluetooth devices) and play with Windows registry a bit, but because the problem is not compliant, it is very difficult to solve.

I don't know if it's a hardware or a Windows problem. All the tracks would be greatly appreciated!
