Dreamweaver CC process 'pages of the model was updated' seems to last forever

Hello, whenever I change a template with my new CC of Dreamweaver (CS6 migration), the dialog box has never reached the point of 'done '. It seems to last forever.

It seems that the update process does not stop, but in fact it ends (most of the time): if I close the dialog box and check the files, they are usually updated. Sometimes they are not, however.

So I was wondering, is this a known bug? Or is there something I can do to try to solve this problem?

Thank you.

I've not heard of it recently, is probably not a bug in the software itself.

I would try to empty the cache memory program: http://forums.adobe.com/thread/494811

and/or the restoration of preferences: http://helpx.adobe.com/dreamweaver/kb/restore-preferences-dreamweaver-cs4-cs5.html

After back if those don't do the trick.

  • Why aren't the models automatically update pages?

I added a page and changed the link to the page in the menu bar, I saved all and then the dialog box came not upward to update all pages. Then we went to change models, the updated pages, and still nothing happened. No answer box has popped up. What can I do so it will work on Dreamweaver CS6? Is there something to do with the settings? In addition, the original model was created using the CS5.5 version, which is a factor?

The menu is an editable?  If so, then that's exactly what should have happened.  The only changes that propagate model to the child are changes made to the non-editable regions.  We can say with certainty what happens if post you a link to one of your pages child so that we can look at the code.

In addition, the original model was created using the CS5.5 version, which is a factor?

    No, certainly not.

  • Redirect to a Web page of the model

I would like to automatically redirect on one Web page to another. The problem is that the first Web page was created and a model has been applied, so now when I try to "Insert/HTML/Head Tags/Refresh" Dreamweaver cannot apply the update because the model has locked the cephalic region. How can I automatically redirect from a Web page that has a nonmodifiable head, or how to make the head region of the editable template so that a redirect to 'Refresh' can be added to the head tag?

the title of the document is editable?

  • I can't create a title of document on a page of the model

    Hello

I just upgraded to CS6 and am having a problem, I don't remember coming across before.  I created a template with a couple of editable regions and then created a new PHP, page 3, column based on that.

I find now that I can't cite page using the Document Title window.

I can enter text in the field, but it is not stored.

Check the source code, all the text box is greyed out...

    Template="/templates/scenes.dwt' codeOutsideHTMLIsLocked = 'false'->

    < head >

    < meta http-equiv = "Content-Type" content = text/html"; charset = utf-8 "/ >"

    < title > < / title >

    In the model, the corresponding text is as below, but in coloour;

    < head >

    < meta http-equiv = "Content-Type" content = text/html"; charset = utf-8 "/ >"

    < title > < / title >

    "" < link href = "... / css/GAPglobal.css" rel = "stylesheet" type = "text/css" / >

    < style type = "text/css" >

    < / style >

    Can anyone help?

    Thank you very much

Normally, Dreamweaver creates an editable region for the title in the .dwt file. If this didn't happen, you can change the head of the .dwt like this file:

  • Flash plays don't pitch on the html page after the model is changed

    Hello

Can anyone help. If I change anything on a model, none of the files .swf on pages based on this template will work when you preview in the browser.

    I use DW CS3.

    Nice day

This problem can be considered a limitation to a certain point because Dreamweaver did not have the "auto-Update" capacity, although it wasn't really the best practice to include Flash content in a model DW.

There is a workaround solution. You may need to change the template (.dwt) himself and work in Code view.

    • In Code view, use find and replace (Edition > find and replace) have so that it will be easier for you to find what you are looking for.
    • In the find and Replace window, choose current Document as the value for find in, the Source Code and as a Research.
    • In the search field, type--> 'src' (including apostrophes), and then click Next.
    • Once you have found 'src', pay attention to the simple quoted text next to it. The value in single quotes is the path where the Flash file is saved. try to remove the ... / if you happen to see. (do if the Flash file is located in the same folder where the HTML page that uses it is registered)
    • Use find and replace again, this time, try searching for 'movie' (including the single quotes). Again, you will see the text next to him who has the same value as what you are looking for before. Do the same thing, try to remove the ... /. (do if the Flash file is located in the same folder where the HTML page that uses it is registered)

Save the DW template file and try to view the pages in the browser.

    I hope this helps.

While I try to download the creative cloud at 60% of the original price for my smart phone, however, I get an error saying to remove the desktop application.  I had tried earlier install the desktop version, a mistake. I thought that the installation was not complete because I received a message stating that the I need to connect to my computer at home and then try to install the desktop version of creative cloud.

How to uninstall the desktop version without losing the offer of 60% off the creative cloud?

How to return to the page where the error message to uninstall the desktop version?

    Thanks for you help.

I don't know what you saw that offered 60%, unless you qualify for an education discount, students & teachers .  This is the page of adobe with plans of non-education, pricing and membership creative cloud | Adobe Creative Cloud

and you can uninstall any cc on your desktop.

clean through the use of the Adobe Creative Cloud cleaning tool to solve installation problems

    Restart your computer

install the application of office cc, https://creative.adobe.com/products/creative-cloud

You can use the desktop application to install cc trials and, if you have or get a subscription, install non-epreuve versions and convert the non-proces tests.

  • InDesign Dreamweaver in a page on the Web site

I have a newsletter and a brochure I want to display as a page on my site.  HOW can I get the InDesign page INTO the Dreamweaver page and be part of my site so that everyone can see?  It must be simple, I can't figure out how?

Thank you very much for the help I can get!

Despite what the Adobe marketing may say, there is no reasonable way to take an InDesign page for wen to HTML... It is not only translate acceptable.  Fortunately, there is a very easy way to do it. Export page in a .pdf file, make sure that your pdf settings are for viewing web, then download the pdf and the link to it.  I always give the link a target of 'white', so the PDF opens in its own window so that the user doesn't have to use the back button to return to your site.

  • Update of the pages after the model update

    Hi people.
So, I use a problem. I update the model as my client wants changes. I say yes to the question of dialog "10 pages to update? All disappear from files/slices/jpg model and when I opened it to see, I see only the text content / editable. Why DW modifies the CBC on my hard drive on all the files/slices/jpg?

We woud need to see the code on the template page to understand what you are
trying to describe. Usually these things are caused by errors in this
code. Can you download the template and post a link to it?

  • Where is the model of update files dialog box?

I change my template, click on file, save all.  It saves but does not open the template files update dialog box.  It does not update the pages based on the template.  What I am doing wrong, how can I fix?  In the preferences on the General category I update links when moving files: Prompt is selected.

Here are seven common mistakes which will result in changes of proliferation do not model for child-

    1 rename the Templates folder

2 move the folder models to another level of folder in the site other than the root level

    3. move a template outside of the Templates folder.

4 changes to an editable model (which is not set)

    5. on the assumption that the changes made to the model will be will be by simply downloading the file Template modified on the server without downloading also files the modified

6 corrupt the site cache to make the link between the model and the child page is broken

7 create your child pages simply by opening the model, adding specific page content and re-record the model with an extension rather than expanding *.dwt *.html. (you can tell if this is the case by looking at the code on a page of the child - if you see something like
