dress-up image

I placed an image in a text box and that there text surround the value. It doesn't seem to matter what I did, he never wrapped. Is this a bug or is there something I should do in addition select the image, put in envelope ot and addition of filling?

You can try the following steps:

> Have the textblock and the image on the page.

> Select the picture.

> Editing > cut.

> Double-click textblock to get into edit mode.

> Place the cursor in the text where you want to insert the picture.

> Editing > paste.

> Select the picture and then play with the settings in the Layout Panel.

PS: Do not move the image manually - just use the Wrap Panel settings.

See you soon,.

I'm doing a simple page to save and then use for other pages.

I now have a logo at the top center.

    and a word of Introduction.

I have an image on the left (under the word in intro) and got the text to the right of the image with a space between the image and the text. I also was able to justify the text and have little space on the right side f the text. Very clean looking.

Now, I want to have the same thing on the left.

So, I want a picture on the left, not at the bottom, but just on the left, a little below the bottom of the first image.

I want the text to be sent back on the left side of the image with the same amount of space between the image and text.

This can't happen. The text doesn't dress, the image does not place correctly.

  • How to keep the alignment of a group logo based on four elements?

I created and aligned a logo based on four letters. Subsequently I've grouped. The alignment is correct. But if I copy the Group and place it in a different location, alignment falls slightly out of place. What should I do to keep the aligned group?

    Thank you for answer

    Angelika

I see two things that could cause this.

First of all is to line up on the starting grid. If enabled for a letter, but not others, you may see changes in the vertical postioning of this letter of treation to others. If applied to all you letters could find, you cannot position the logo vertically accurate spot you want. More likely, however, you would see one or several letters go in excess at least executives were very deep.

Second is text wrapping. If the letters are individual images, they would be individually affected by the text applied to another object wrapping. You could overcome this by turning on "Ignore the text of not dress" for images of logo in the text frame options.

Other things you could do: convert the text to outlines text. When you convert to outines you have editable text, and it is not subject to the skin or the complications of grid planning.

Or create the logo in a second document and export to PDF, then place the PDF file. It will behave like a picture. If you need be able to easily modify the logo, save it in a separate ID doc and place the page of the .indd. The original update will update the copy placed.

Our <strong><em>Carmina Burana</em></strong> concert series begins next Friday, at the Campbell United Methodist Church. Rehearsals have been wonderful and great fun! We're really enjoying singing this piece, and are very much looking forward to dress rehearsals next week with soloists, percussionists and the Ragazzi Boy's choir! <br />
    									<br />
It's not often that we perform with as many different kinds of percussion instruments as are called for in <em>Carmina</em>. Since the percussionists are typically in the back of the orchestra, it may not be easy to see what the instruments look like, especially when they are small or unusual. Just in case you are curious, I have included some images of some, at least, of the percussion instruments. Top to bottom down the right side are triangle, raganella (ratchet), glockenspiel, sleigh bells, snare drum, suspended cymbal, castanets, tubular bells, and the last image is xylophone with crotales (antique cymbals) across the top. Our performance will not have an entire orchestra between the audience and the performers, so you will be able to easily see the percussionists and pianists at work, not to mention the soloists.<br />

The instrument list also calls for two pianos and a celeste. The pianos will be two Roland HP605 professional level electronic pianos, lent for this performance by two of our Bass choir members, David Goodman and Kim McCall. We rehearsed with the pianos this week - not only do they have amazing sound but with a flick of a switch they turn into the celeste, or the flute or the horn!<br />

  • could someone tell me how to document image text on app pages

I'm currently editing a paragraph in a mirror image is anyway to rotate the text

Text by itself is not an object, and in Pages, only objects can be knocked down or rotated. Insert a text box below your current paragraph and resize it to the same size as your paragraph of text. Copy and paste your existing text of paragraph into the text box and change to the same font as the initial paragraph attributes. You may need to pull down on the sign [+] symbol to expand the text box to eliminate the overflow.

Reorganize, with the text box selected, you can set the tab text dressed votes to zero, and then in the rotation section, you will be able to rotate the text either along the vertical or horizontal axis.

Here is spilled on the horizontal plain:

  • Why my images are moved around the document on Pages (version 5.6.2)?

If I have an image (or images) in a document on the Pages and the cursor is at the end of the sentence and I press on enter to leave room for the image, it moves around itself and mess with what I had typed. Or if I add a page break and the cursor is located before the image, it moves down to the new page on its own. Is there a function should I disable? It's really frustrating and annoying to have to keep fixing it.

Each object file that you insert (text box, image, form, table, graphic) lands in the selected document. For each of them, the very next step is to visit the tab Pages to reorganize v5 in the right panel and put the text dressed votes to zero. This allows to move the objects from your file with impunity and avoid the magnetic effect with text and other objects.

  • 13 Firefox displays only a white box instead of an image on some Web sites

13 Firefox displays only a white box where the image should be. What's happening on different Web sites, but I will include a link to the last for me. Internet Explorer displays the image very well:
    http://www.bostonproper.com/product/asymmetrical-hem-Maxi-dress/836602/SC/169/c/169/PC/44.UTS
You should see a big picture of a woman in a red dress on the page, not a white box. I tried to clear cookies and cache, I have the settings to allow the images of this site and nothing works. The problem seems to have started when I updated to Firefox 13.

There are some compatibility issues between the last Flash drive and a few Add-ons Firefox or settings. Could see you if anything in this article helps you: 11.3 Flash does not load video in Firefox.

  • Can we do "image moves with the text" the default behavior when you paste an image into a page of text?

in a text in 'pages' document - copy - paste an image in a body of text automatically seems to do with 'image remains on the page' and 'automatic', which makes the image stays in place when later editing / adding text... so the picture does not end with the original text that belongs to it.

Can we do the setting "Fix '-' with text Move' -' Inline with the text" setting by default, then it will automatically stick a new image without having to go through a few clicks every time?

Thanks muchly, everyone who might have an idea

    Peter

You can insert and to scale an image of your choice, set its object Placement and dressing of your choice and then do a placeholder image. You save then this as a model. When you create a new document based on this template, any image that you copy/paste or drag/drop on this placeholder image will now have your preferences of positioning of the object and the skin. Other that that, you cannot change the default settings of v5.6.1 Pages.

You really need a better image of the Gruppenführer Trump quality, but you can dress up things a lot. Start by using the quick selection tool to select the head of Mr. Trump and then refine the selection with the edge tool I refine my selection. To fit his head in the aquarium to use the transform tool to reduce its size. Place an empty layer above all and with the blue color of the water color picker sample. Paint on face of Trump with this blue mode soft light can make final adjustments with curves to get the mix you want.

Why can't impose a great guy on my picture?

Click on the image and go to window > text wrapping to open the skin palette. If something other than the article that I circled is selected, pass the circled point. This is the setting where no dressing is applied to the image. If this does not work, check if there is another object that is in contact with the text block. Maybe it's something that's behind the image, or perhaps on another layer.

On your frame of legend. Go to object > text frame Options and check the option "ignore text dressed '.

Set it as a style of the object and assign your "paragraph of the legend style" style of the object while you're there.

  • Flow of text/image for a user manual

Greetings. I'm working on a layout for a user manual. I encountered a problem with the flow of text and images in many cases where the instructions of the manual to a step by step format. Please see the screenshot at the end of the post.

You will see in the bottom half of the page one of these sequences step by step starts. The 1st image is related to step 1 and 2 in step 2. I want the image to align with the capline of the 1st sentence at each stage and the image must stay in line on the right and the left-aligned text. Here's where I have problems: I don't want to give a space - after replacing every step in order to align the next step with the next image.

I tried to put the image inline with the text and by aligning his right of paragraph but then I can't align the image with the capline of the 1st sentence in step; the image is before or after the line of text. I also tried dressing jump object, but which becomes immediately problematic when a stage has several lines of text.

What is the best practice here? I think I lack something real simple. Also, if it's important I have an author on InCopy assignments of edition we're going.

    Screen-Shot.jpg

    Try following:

    You need:

    • 2 paragraph styles
    • 1 object model for image
    1. Specify a paragraph for the numbered list Style as stated above. (But it can be any other model also) I call it 'the list '.
    2. Specify where the image is embedded in a paragraph Style. I call it 'Anchor Image'
      1. Left, the intention is wide the first character to be so far to the right, that this is in the area of the image, would make so vast that it is near the right edge, for example if the frame is 200 mm, you can do left intend 198 mm
      2. The size is not serious, in the example, it is 0.1pt, 0, driving, before 0space and after.
      3. Keep options: Keep with 10 lines (or whatever the number is useful.)
      4. Insert the frame anchored in this paragraph
    3. The style of the object must have following properties:
      1. Text wrapping, I did it with 1 p to the left and to the right, 0mm above and below the rectangle shape
      2. Anchored the position of the image: right 0mm to the right vertical edge, specify a distance between the upper edge of the frame on the insertion will be always to the desired line at the top of the page of the reference.

The wrapping of the text of the framework will force the number text (with the style of paragraph 'List' of the film, but also the next holder of the anchor with the paragraph style 'Anchor Image' to wrap.) Because the left for the anchoring of the Image style of paragraph is far to the right it will require to start after the space of the image below. Because the font sizes of this paragraph are so small, it will not appear, and you can specify the minimum vertical distance between a number o the previous image with text list encapsulate parameters, you might get closer with negative after space. As an anchor image contains no text, it is not a problem.
