    It's also easy to move the startup information in the BDEDrive and giving the computer reboot, and then delete the BDEDrive. After that, the free space can be deleted (it becomes unallocated) and all unallocated space can be swallowed up by the C drive now that the option "Extend Volume" became available.

    I saw corruption serious hdd on my system for some time now and was just move to replace the drive hard when I came across the problem of design of Intel® chipsets. Now, I think that my system is the range of serial number for this question and as the current drive does not start, I can't check the Device Manager to see if the chipset is one of those affected.

    Is there anyway for me to check this from a USB bootable or something similar, because I don't want to have to go through the effort to replace the hard drive and reinstall windows just to find the chipset is wrong?

    Hi people,

    I'm a little angry, I hope one of you lovely people can help me with some advice. My wife tried using the contact HP online support face today, but did not get a useful answer. The laptop in question has still 2 months warranty on this subject and I would like this issue to be fixed before the expiration of the warranty.

    The problem:

    A month or two ago my wife said that the laptop occasionally runs slowly or freezes at random times, then started working again without problem. I'm on the laptop, run scans antivirus, temporary files clear and others with CCleaner, uninstall unnecessary programs and then turn off most of the autobooting services and programs with msconfig. Nothing really came from him, but he did and apparently not having problems while I used it.

    A week later, more complaints that the laptop was running slower than optimal, with another request to examine it. This time he did freeze while I use it, so I run ladies sfc diagnostics and memory, which came to own. Then it was time to try to run through the optimization of windows to speed it up a little.

    Has held a few weeks for me since then, always heard there are problems, but not having is not the opportunity to study.

    Last night I finally get around to running the diagnostics of HP at the start and check out the source (I hope!) of the problem. Hard disk check is coming up with an error indicating that the disk is not healthy, technical Department should be contacted directly. I saved the newspapers to a USB port, I'll post the results in the next post.

    The solution:

    Could I please have some advice on the best way to proceed on this matter now? I'd appreciate any help.

    The hard drive is indeed a failure and needs to be replaced - just contact HP and make arrangements for this under warranty.

    Warranty only covers hardware issues.

    Question you seems to be related to a software problem.
    Therefore, I doubt that installation of the OS would be covered by the warranty.
    You should order the recovery disk and must attempt to define the notebook back to factory settings.
    Then you should check the features of the laptop.

  • W3 - 810 driver Power State failure error (BSOD)

    I have a W3-810 Iconia I've upgraded to Windows 8.1 and Windows 10. During a recent update to the 2016 office, I had a blue screen and an error message that a failure of State driver had taken place and the computer needed to restart. After a few moments, the computer restarted and I was able to complete the installation of Office 2016. I remember getting this error during upgrade to Windows 10. Recently, while watching a YouTube video, the Tablet locked up and I got the blue screen again, with the same "Driver Power State Failure" error again. I check the Device Manager and noticed that in the "system devices" all of the "Intel platform dynamics and thermal framework (DPTF)" associates pilots had yellow flags indicating that the drivers did not work properly. When I tried to update the drivers I get a message that the latest drivers are installed.

    Someone at - it recommendations to solve this problem? Should I uninstalled all the drivers DPTF and reinstall? Thank you.

    Update: I drove all DPTF drivers in back to version 6.2.9200.30457 Device Manager and then restarted the computer. I tested the computer to see if I could cause a BSOD pilot State failure occurred earlier today and it does not happen again. I hope that this solves the problem. Thank you.

    I've been trolling these forums for the last few days in search of some answers, but nothing seems to get close to my problem.

    First basic info. Dell Inspirion D630 laptop computer Windows XP Prof SP3. Hardware config: 120 GB drive HARD internal, DVD player, 2 GB of memory. Pretty basic configuration. No hardware changes have been made.

    Here's the senerio problem. Notebook PC starts without any problems, but while XP is loading all the services I get error that meet "Generic Host Process for Win32 services has encountered a problem and needs to close...". ', the error msg and the laptop is pretty useless at the moment (explorer, Task Manager, etc.) does not run. I then close the laptop and can start in "safe mode", but pass messages "the instruction at 001ba6ae tried to access memory at the location 000000, the memory could not be written" every few minutes. But I can access Explorer, Task Manager, etc.. Thought may have viruses or malicious and software ran Mcafee several times and came back clean everytime. Could not MalwareBytes to run, but was able to run GMER (it was suggested on the forums). There is no report on any specific malware, but it showed that several sectors on the HARD disk showed malware like behavior. But he also showed that he could not detect the hard drive (showed the HKLM...\CurrentControlSet\ info for the reader, he tried to find). So long story even longer, made a few inquiries via these forums as determined as SVCHOST. EXE was not while trying to run "winmgmt. Also discovered was that the Device Manager and Storage Manager does not show the Hard Drive AT ALL. If I open Windows Explorer, it shows the drive c: hard, I can access all the files on the disk without problem. If I show the 'properties' for the reader, it indicates the correct used/unused space for the reader. If I click on the "Hardware" tab, the only one listed is the DVD player.

    So I know a bit what is the problem, I just do not know what to do to FIX IT. other that my last resort resort which would be to do a full clean install of windows. Any suggestions?

    This error may be coming because of unavailable storage required for the motherboard drivers. You can follow the steps one by one, mentioned below and check if that helps.

    Method 1: Uninstall, and then reconnect the external hard drive. This method solves the problems where the currently loaded USB driver has become corrupt or unstable.

    1. Click Start, type Device Manager in the box Search
    2. Click Device Manager in the returned list.
    3. Click disk drives in the list of hardware
    4. Right click on the USB external hard drive with the question and click Uninstall.
    5. Once the hard drive is uninstalled, disconnect the USB cable.
