driver for hp officejet 6000 moved

message indicates a policy enabled that blocks nt 4.0 drivers. core printer. someone knows how to fix this problem on a stand-alone system where I can't find the local computer policy.

Thanks for any help

Here is an article that deals with this problem: http://www.sysprobs.com/nt-40-printer-driver-compatible-policy-enabled-vista-pc.  The fact is, the driver is not compatible.  The article continues to provide procedures to remove the policy; However, he warns that it can cause blue screen and other mistakes (probably harmful to your system).  I wouldn't try it if it were me - but the decision is yours.  If you decide to try this, first create a restore point system and backup register to be on the safe side (and make sure you have the very convenient installation disc as you have need according to what's wrong of the substitution of the policy causes.  Instead, I could contact HP and see if they have updated drivers that are not contravene policy (and the article tells you what to ask).  If they are not, then I would get a new printer.  I wouldn't risk my computer on it - but again, it is your decision to make and your risk to take.  I don't know if we will be able to help you according to what are the problems it causes.

I hope this helps.

Good luck!

  • XP 64 bit driver for the Officejet 6100

Given that HP is not a driver for the Officejet 6100 on a Windows XP 64-bit system, is there an unsigned driver or a work around to get an Officejet 6100 to work on a Windows XP 64-bit operating system?

I tried to use the work of 990c but that didn't work.

    Hi Keith61,

As far as I know that there is no actual work around to install a printer on a system that is not supported. Installing 990c drivers should have given you the ability to print. Can try one of the methods below to see if you can get the 990c driver to work or you can upgrade to a newer operating system. Let me know what you find?

    USB

    Follow the instructions below.

    1. open devices and printer

    2. click on add a printer

    3. click Add a local printer

    4. from the use existing port, select the USB option and then click Next

    5. click the button of Windows Update to get all the support window 7 drivers updated

    6. once the update is complete. Click HP from the menu on the left, then select the printer Deskjet 990c in the right menu, and then click Next.

    7. follow the remaining instructions to complete the installation.

Once you have the printer added 990c make sure it is the default printer, and then try to print on your Officejet 6100 printer using this driver.

    Wireless

    Follow the instructions below.

    1. open devices and printer

    2. click on add a printer

    3. click Add a local printer

    4. from the use existing port, select the USB option and then click Next

    5. click the button of Windows Update to get all the support window 7 drivers updated

    6. once the update is complete. Click HP from the menu on the left, then select the printer Deskjet 990c in the right menu, and then click Next.

    7. follow the remaining instructions to complete the installation.

    8. open the Printers folder

    9. right click on Officejet 6100 and then select Properties

    10. click on the Advanced tab

    11. click on the drop down arrow under pilot to change the 990c driver and then click ok to accept the new driver.

Try printing on your printer Officejet 6100 using this driver. I would like to know if you have the same problem?

  • I'm unable to install the printer driver for HP OfficeJet G55xi

I am trying to install the printer driver for HP OfficeJet G55xi.

When I went to the HP site, it said to install Windows 7 operating system printer driver, by plugging the printer on my Windows 7 computer using a USB cable.  I did, but it was not installed.

I also need to install the HP Director software.

I had a computer technician to connect remotely to my computer to install the printer.  He had to install additional tools that are available on the same site where I tried to install the printer driver.  I don't know how he did, but I watched it.  Anyway, he managed to install additional tools, which resulted in the printer being installed correctly.

It's a pity that the site where I download the printer driver does not provide adequate instructions for how to do this.  I guess the solution is hiring a computer technician to do it for you.

  • OfficeJet 6500 E710a-f: how to download the latest firmware and the BASE driver for my Officejet 6500 on Windows 7

I'm looking for a way to download the latest driver and firmware base packages for my Officejet 6500 E710a-f for Windows 7, x 64 (latest patches and service packs applied).

Regardless of the road I take (including the link called "Download drivers"), finding drivers inevitably leads me to the same page that contains the vertical tabs named 'Troubleshooting', 'How to' and so on and none of the links - not even under 'options to support more' - led to a Basic downloadable driver package. In fact, none of them leads to a downloadable driver package of all kinds. The most that I could find is that package Wizard driver installation that attempts to download the package that I am not interested in-oh and a few mentions in the KB articles downloadable driver packages.

I also tried "Printer Setup, Installation" & Setup and then variously "Installation, install & connect printer ' and 'Software updates' & Firmware, which none offer a downloadable package.

This used to work perfectly fine a few months ago, but now I'm getting round on the same page over and over again. I can not find the basic driver or the software for the printer more.

Where can I find the basic driver package (used about 30 MB in size) in order to avoid the crapware included in the package (130MO) "full feature" more great who gets automatically downloaded to an unknown destination on my hard drive using this driver installation wizard. It's my PC and I want to be the one who decides in which runs when and how. Now I can try to track down the location of download using ProcMon and what not, but it would give me is this package 'feature complete' with a bunch of crapware added on strictly necessary. How to get the base driver package?

    Thank you!

Never mind. Fascinating, the "Download drivers" link under the Support tab at the top leads to a different page that the link "search for drivers' next to my question posted .

Both methods require enter the name of the model (after picking "Printers" in the first case) in a similar way, but the former led in circles on the same page with no possibility to download, while the latter one immediately takes me to the downloads, I was looking for.

I fear that the 710 Officejet is no longer supported by any superior to XP Windows.

The document above, refer to the Deksjet 710, which is a different printer model...

Only printers listed below are supported by Windows7, your printer is not as supported.

  • HP Officejet Pro L7650: PCL 6 driver for HP Officejet Pro L7650 printer all in one

I have an old HP Officejet Pro L7650 all in one and due to new software that I use for my small business, I was told that I must download PCL6/drivers for my printer to work with the new software correctly. I searched and found the right driver online and downloaded, however, during installation to choose the machine and it lists just about everyone but the machines HP Officejet Pro L7650. I was wondering if anyone has an idea or knows a PCL 6 driver that will work for my particular all in one machine. Any help is appreciated. The driver I downloaded was the HP Universal print for 64-bit systems driver specifically (upd-pcl6 - x 64 - 6.0.0.18849). Thank you.

According to the specifications of the charges (see http://support.hp.com/gb-en/document/c00839084 ) and in common with many (but not all) peripheral inket printers OfficeJet L7650 use the Language of Description of Page PCL3 Enhanced - they do not support PCL5 or PCL6.

  • I can't find a driver for HP Officejet Pro L7580.

Updated my system to Windows 7 after years of using Vista.  Now, I can not use my HP Officejet Pro L7580 because it cannot find a driver to install.   Each tab has said that the device works perfectly.  I deleted all of the HP software... it off... rebooted... reloaded and still the message says that this driver is missing and it can't find on the site of HP.  He also said that he is not allowed to update the drivers.  During the audit in this area... that's bad.  Updates are always automatic without authorization by this tab, you open to change the settings.  I can't see the problem/solution... can anyone else?

    Hey there,

Make sure you first if you use Windows 7 32-bit or 64-bit then follow this link:

    http://h10025.www1.HP.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareCategory?cc=us&DLC=en&lang=en&LC=en&product=2512008&

If you choose the recommended base or full software driver are the official drivers from HP for the product.

    I hope this helps!

  • OfficeJet Pro 8100: Can not find the driver for the Officejet Pro 8100 online

I've recently updated to Win10 (the free update, I do not know how many bits). I also then changed my wireless carrier. Now my laptop is not connecting to the new hub, and it seems that there is no driver more - so I don't know if these changes are the problem, or one of them.

I tried to install a new driver and I first started the process, but the printer not print report pages, and then the laptop don't would not recognize the USB cable, even though it had been plugged in all the time. I tried to remove the cable and reinsert; also turning the printer market, but cela did not work.

I also have Virgin and with them her reset the hub, but the hub still not connect to the printer.

Now when I go to the page of drivers hp and it identifies my product, it then tells me there is no drivers for this printer now, and I should come back later in case they are developing.

I can't believe that this is true. Can you please give me a link to a page where I can find and install the driver?

May also explain why the cable USB is not recognized?

    Thank you.
