driver sata HP dvd - ram uj8db

I want to install windows 7 on my laptop. When starting Installer requires cd-rom driver. I can't find the driver for windows 7. Help, please.

P.s. sorry for my English)

We need the model of the laptop. The driver is not for the DVD player itself, but the storage on the motherboard controller in order to allow the installation disc see DVD player. You have to put the storage on a USB controller and point the installation program. It is likely that the Governing Council is set to RAID, and you need the Intel RAID driver which is here:

It has 32 and 64 bit drivers of F6 for use during the installation of Windows.

  • Tecra M7 DVD: CD/DVD RAM drive does not work since the installation of Vista

    I did a clean install on my new Vista Ready M7. He had XP tablet in a first time, and the DVD player worked fine. In fact I used to install Vista (Home Premium).

    Now it doesn't work at all. It runs but does not read. Device Manager tells me impossible to start the device. Tried to update driver and he told me that he has the most uptodate pilot.

    Downloaded all the drivers from the Download Center of Tosh for upgrade of Vista of M7 (who got bluetooth, rotation etc. function properly the screen). But none of the downloads seems to be a driver for the DVD - Ram drive. He cannot find a driver anywhere else (including the Panasonic site).
    DVD player is Mat * a DVD - RAM UJ - 841 s

    Any suggestions?

    Hello

    On the Toshiba driver page, you can find the DLA for Tecra m7.
    Have you tried to install the XP driver DVD-RAM since the Toshiba page on the Vista operating system?

    Maybe it'll market

    But listening the CD/DVD drive uses the current Microsoft drivers that are included in Vista or XP.
    This is why an additional driver should not be necessary!

    An additional proposal;
    Remove the drive from the Device Manager CD/DVD and restart the laptop.
    After restarting again the OS should reinstall the drive and renew the software.

    Another tip:
    -Launch the registry
    -Choose the registry key;
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Contro l\Class\ {4D36E965-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}
    -In the right pane, click UpperFilters and LowerFilters, and then click on remove.
    -Reboot the laptop

    Do you mean simply common driver for the carpet * a UJ830s?
    Windows generally use the common Microsoft OS driver and usually you will not find a Toshiba driver for this device.
    OK, on the page you will find a DVD - RAM but it s only for reading and writing to DVD-RAM media.

    Attention if you use DVD-RAM disks in the drive of DVD MULTI data cannot be written to a DVD-RAM disk, while the function to write data on discs CD-R/RW standard Windows XP is enabled.
    A message is displayed when this function has been enabled, so when using a DVD-RAM disk, take into account the teaching given in this message by unchecking "enable CD writing on this drive.

    Hello

    I checked the 'Computer' tab and the CD/DVD drive appeared. I inserted a blank CD in the drive and iTunes came and immediately delivered a msg of error than Win registry entries this iTumes needs had disappeared. I guess it was because I deleted the "top of the registry. The iTunes error msg says to uninstall iTunes and reinstall it. When I did that it worked and I was able to see and use the CD/DVD player and everything seems to work now.

    I had a problem with iTunes, after that I installed Windows 8.1 & also updated iTunes to 11.1.4 a few days after the Win update 8.1. iTunes does not recognize my iPhone4 and I had to uninstall & re-install iTunes, there was a problem with the iTunes re - install that required me to uninstall all THE programs Apple (Support Mobile, etc.) and re - install iTunes more assocated programs. I got it all works and then noticed the problem of CD/DVD.

    I think that the first iTunes re - install that was a problem as corrupt Windows registry for this region that iTunes uses to access the CD/DVD drive.

    The resolution of the problem by removing the ' superior in the register of Win and re - install iTunes seems to have solved the problem of CD/DVD!

    Thanks for your help, patience and cooperation. I really appreciate it.

    See you soon... John

    Hello

    Why do you ask for it? The drive is not visible?

    I mean that the driver is not required for ODD (optical disc).
    Windows uses the Microsoft own driver who is still part of the Windows System.

    You see a yellow exclamation point in Device Manager?
    I recommend the removal of the STRANGE in Device Manager. Then, you will have access to the registry and should remove the Upperfilters and Lowerfilters completely from the following registry key values:

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Contro l\Class\ {4D36E965-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}

    After that, you have to restart the device.

    Check and I think that the STRANGE should reappear.

  • Carpet * a DVD - RAM UJ-811 drive

    Laptop: Satellite A10-S703
    Carpet * a DVD - RAM UJ-811 drive supports 2 x DVD-R burning.

    The minimum speed of blank media DVD-R available on the market is 4 x.

    A warning on the cover of Imation DVD - R 4 x recordable disks says
    "Download the free firmware required to avoid damaging your Player 2 x" the given url is http://www.imation.com/products/dvd_media/dvd_firmware.html

    The links provided under Toshiba / Panasonic are not useful.

    Can someone guide me if I can burn 4 x media on this drive?

    Thanks in advance!

    Hi Ravi,

    If you have the DVD burner that can burn DVD-R with a speed x 2 there is no way to improve the speed of burning at 4 x speed.

    Some firmware updates of aid to enable support for new media and has increased by a few burning questions (results of optimal registration for your reader).
