Drivers Dell DJ2

Hello world:

First of all, THANKS for having me aboard. It's my first time here and I could really use some help. I'm helping a friend to put some music on his Dell DJ2. (I hear you laugh) I did some checking and found this device is about 12 years. However, I need to d/l a driver for this model and one suggested by DELL (1.02.03A00) is not compatible in Win7. So... some fact check and was not sure if there is another driver which is compatible? Need help in this matter. In addition, I had also a bit of a go at installing a driver once (I thought), I found one that is compatible. So, here it is... I need a driver for this device that will work in Win7, and I guess that I need some good instructions on how to install it. Hope that there is some guru here, that will give a helping hand!

Thank you:

Rick

Hey, so I took a look around the site to support for the Dell DJ 2 and it seems that the files in the applications are all firmware, no real drivers updates.  I am surprised Windows 7 didn't just install a generic driver for him?  When plug you it into the computer Windows anything?  If after a few seconds, you go in my computer where all your drives are listed, do you find anything that can say 'unknown usb drive' or 'usb drive' or something similar?

I also took a look at the manual and there are some Dell DJ software that is listed that can contain a pilot-owner who was built in.

EDIT: I found it! It seems that this software here will work.

Lenovo Broadcom driver version can be found on the link below. Luckily I have just given and plugged away to my own research and managed to get the issue resolved. • Problem installing drivers Dell for Inspiron 5520

    Hello

My husband has an Inspiron 5520, 64-bit operating system. The warranty has expired 8/2013.  He had a hard drive damaged, that comes to replace with a new one. I am installing Windows 7, the necessary drivers, etc. and spin problems installing drivers.

Here's what I've done so far:

I'm following the instructions on the way which manually reinstall Windows 7 on a Dell (http://www.dell.com/support/troubleshooting/us/en/19/KCS/KcsArticles/ArticleView?c=us&l=en&s=dhs&docid=DSN_362048).  I created a Windows 7 DVD and followed the steps leading to a successful installation of Windows 7.

I am now on step 4 of the instructions - installation of the drivers. I went to the Dell drivers and downloads page and entered the serial number of the laptop, which has generated a list of drivers. The list entitled, installing drivers in the Correct order, I started with system utilities. There were two items listed for his laptop. I downloaded the desktop of my laptop and transferred then to a USB drive. I inserted the USB in the Inspiron laptop and tried to install. In both cases, I received an error message that reads:

"This computer does not meet the minimum requirements for installing the software."

How can I fix this problem?

    Thank you.

    This isn't Dell System Software.

    System software Dell is here:

    http://dellwindowsreinstallationguide.com/driver-sets/Dell-system-software/

The file list is Intel Quick start technology and won't work probably only if you have a disc SSD Cache in your system.

and according to the Instructions that I saved it on my desktop with the path to C:\DELL\DRIVERS\R24923 for any future reference.

Problem: My DELL Windows Vista PC does not recognize my AERO phone when I connect it to the PC, and it does not recognize or indicate that the downloaded drivers is not found.

  • Help! I can't download recovery image to my PC from dell website system drivers

I am trying to download recovery image from my PC operating system from the site of uk drivers dell under the product I own (inspiron aio 7459)

Whenever I try to download the image, it will fail in the middle and the entire image file is corrupt, it always happens when I try to download the image and I seriously need this image. My PC has now gone unstable, I had to do a clean install of windows 10 but after a few months he gets corrupted with a lot of disk errors, this pc worked perfectly without error before that dell was told to remove the recovery partition, support technique dell ruined my computer.

Can someone help me please? How can I stop it failing in the middle of the download?

I feel like this system recovery is my only hope to get my PC to its State as if it was when I got this PC.

(If it is not sorted then I am more satisfied with my PC and will just return it and get a refund, because even the technical support help not out me and rather corruption telling me I have to pay for the mistake, they did what I never do!)

It's ok now, what I've done, is download the image of the system at midnight because fewer people using the internet and therefore less traffic to interrupt the download.

I downloaded it at midnight and he succeeded, so for those struggling to download an image system for their PC, I'd download it somewhere near the off-peak hours.

  • Dell laptop, cannot install the drivers for USB drives.

Although the fans more of my family and the power of Google, I can not solve this problem is to have my sister.

Each USB key she inserts into his laptop computer are, although recognized, never installed.  For example, when I install in another computer USB flash drive, the typical action should be that either the system operating rises automatically the drive to a letter on my computer, or invite an Assistant saying that it will try to install the drivers for the flash player and do it automatically.

When I insert a flash drive into this laptop, however, it will prompt me to find the location of the folder where the drivers for the USB key is installed.  When I ask for an alternative, he will try to find it through Windows Update for drivers, then answer he found nothing.

I tried to assign the same flash as a generic device drive in Device Manager, but nothing helps: the flash player still will not mount in my computer properly.  Windows Update, moreover, indicates that the system is up-to-date.

Any ideas on how to fix this, so that the laptop in the world will recognize volumetric flash drives and devices entry without asking for the location of the driver?  That is, a system of 'plug & play' with all USB devices?

"Windows Update, moreover, indicates that the system is up to date."

You get the manufacturer's operating system hardware drivers: Dell.

    http://support.Dell.com/support/downloads/index.aspx

Go to the website of the manufacturer of your computer/laptop > drivers and downloads Section > key in your model number > look for the latest Vista drivers > download/install them.

  • Drivers for dell inspiron 15 3537 windows 8.64 bits

Can anyone please share the link for drivers dell inspiron (15-3537) 8 windows, 64 bit?
But beware that it isn't dell site that my pc is not in warranty so I won't be able to download on their site.

Warranty does not come into action as far as I KNOW when you download the drivers on the manufacturer's website.

Driver downloads are free and can be found here for your device.

An another workaround is a SW named Driver Pack solution that has an installer online that automatically installs all the necessary drivers and can be found here.

But I recommend that you download from the Dell Web site itself

  • Reinstalled XP Pro, lack of drivers for the broadband connection

I just reinstalled Windows XP Professional on a Dell Latitude D505.  Ethernet controller drivers are not installed (Code 28), and I don't know how to reinstall.

The CD I have is the operating system reinstall CD.  I don't know what to search online to find a downloadable driver and cannot connect to the internet on the Dell.

The location of the Ethernet controller is bus PCI 1, device 8, function 0.  Device type is other devices, and the manufacturer is unknown.

If life was as simple as that!   gboanna, you're going to need more, much more, than just the drivers of NIC (NIC) after a fresh Windows XP installed!  (I consider that you do not have the CD Drivers and Utilities described in the Dell Latitude D505 system information Guide ?)  Your sound works?  Which video driver is the Device Manager say Windows XP help?  (I bet it's generic!)  Do you want to really use the drivers Dell provides before using anything Windows (and Windows Update) selects...

You're going to need all the drivers for embedded devices, Intel® chipset utility, lack of Dell applications, utilities, updates, etc. available on the Dell support site.

To really move things along, you can go here , enter your Dell service tag and discover your specifications and then know what drivers you need. (You can navigate from there to the drivers and download page and start the download.)

Otherwise, you'll have to go to the more general support of Dell Latitude D505 page (accessible by selecting 'portable', 'Latitude' and "D505"), and then selecting fifteen (15!) different NETWORK card drivers.  BTW, I think that the network connector RJ-45 at the rear of the Latitude D505 is a driver Intel® PRO/100 VE Network Connection , as it is the only unshielded driver pair (AKA RJ-45) Ethernet twisted in the list.  Be sure to download and install only the drivers, etc. you need.  I'm sure you don't have that fourteen wireless network cards, you can choose from!  Write back if you need more information!  Good luck!

  • Details of graphics card (5548) Dell Inspiron 15

I recently bought a dell inspiron 15 (5548) and now im faced with somewhat misleading of the problem with the graphics card. Is - this m265 R7 or R7 m260?

Latest drivers Dell show as m265, but the games stuck and completely non playable after the A06 bios update. Latest drivers from AMD say good race his m260 and games (ex: CS: go to 45-55 fps).

Also when buying the guy from the dell store said m260 / m265 is a dedicated graphics card and this message says that it is not, rather, it is just a rendering engine. Thus, evrything goes through processor again and so on...

Could someone sort this point for me coz its nowhere mentioned on the page of the product it's a converter card. Also when you guys will fix that issue drivers? It is 260 or 265 or just a problem of labelling? IM currently with AMD drivers and it just works.

Idk it I can post my service here tag. Answer me if its ok.

    I need answers guys...

The system uses the hybrid video controlled by software.  Only the Intel GPU has a connection to display - all passes video through it on its way to the screen, even if it was made by the AMD GPU.

Virtually all systems of low - medium range now work this way.  If you need true GPU support, discreet, it is the province of high-end Alienware and Precision mobile workstations.   That's all as many competing systems from other manufacturers.

  • Secure latitude E6420 DELL Manager

Hi guys I am having a problem with my laptop. It has been updated using drivers dell and apps that correspond to the service tag and everything worked fine until I restarted today and now a password is requested on the bios screen before I can go further. I don't have a password on my OS or my bios but this secure Dell Manager must have chosen a default one in my name. Now that I can't enter anything, it does not start from CD drive or usb just on the screen of the bios password. I tried almost everything I could think of. I removed the cmos battery. Tried various passwords by default possible and nothing. I don't really want to try to short-circuit the memory nvram chip, too much can go wrong with a stripped down laptop power, and even then it might not work. Any help at all would be really appreciated.

OK update for anyone interested. I have been unable to source any help for this and conversations with Dell where unproductive. The only safe option, I had was to replace the motherboard. Then against this option, I decided there was nothing to lose by trying to reset the nvram chip.

The most irritating part is hoping that you detect the chip before complete disassembly disassembly is reached. I found the flea when ideally placed under the keyboard and are easily accessible. There are 2 x 8 pins winbond chips side by side 25Q16CVsig and 25Q64CVSIG, the 8 MB that I focused was the 25Q64CVSIG of chip of 8 MB. If you look to the top of the datasheet of the component, you will see pins 5 and 6 are signals CLK Serial Data In, these are the 2 that short pins must be. If you don't know what PIN is that, if you look at the chip, you will see a circular impression on the face of the chip, this indicates pin1 and the increment of numbers in a movement to the right anti.

First thing I did was to reconnect the drives and everything you have also disconnected and then I tried a normal startup to make sure that everything is properly connected and you will notice the secure Dell Manager is always appearing. Now reboot and while restarting connect a small wire or loose piece of solder between the 2 pins and the PC should start without going through this request for password allowing you to boot into the operating system. Glad it worked first try, I wanted to make sure that it happened again so I opened software Manager secure Dell who was installed and tried to change password option and was able to change the password to something I can remember easily. I then restarted with all reconnected and housed without reset nvram and dell smart manager secure popped up again but this time I entered the new password I had just put in windows, held my breath for a few seconds and he agreed this password.

I hope this helps someone else with the same question because I certainly not a password within Dell Secure Manager software until this question and cannot conclude that, by not defining a software Dell create a default value for me and it is impossible to understand. Good luck.
