  I have an iPhone 6 which was delete random contacts for several months. At first I thought it was sync Outlook I had set up, so I turned off who. I also disabled contact iCloud thus synchronize my contacts are not sync'ing with any service. And always contacts disappear. Sometimes when I try to text someone (I start the application of the text, search their name, select their mobile phone number, send the text and contact disappears). Other times it's just gone, and these are the contacts that I know, I got on the phone and I did not remove. Recently, I visited an Apple store and the guy at the Genius Bar couldn't find any problems. I was in the high-tech industry my whole career and often provide technical support to the family and friends, so I'm no dummy when it comes to computers (I share this so you will know that I'm not somehow accidentally deleted records).

  CONTACTS is a FUNCTION of BASIC PHONE and if Apple can't solve what I'm going to go back to Android.

  I have exactly the same problem, and it lasts for a few months.  Tried iCloud on and out parameters, and it does not seem to make a difference. The names just disappear and I find myself with just the phone numbers in my call list and contact is no longer listed in Contacts.  The list of calls sometimes everything in numbers. sometimes just a few touches.  Yesterday, a new problem surfaced: II creates a new contact for the zillionth time (for the same person) and when I looked at my list of calls later, another contact with the same name has been ranked instead - the phone number had merged with another contact with the same first name!  This CONTACT experience is so bizarre and extremely frustrating!  What is a phone without integrity CONTACT?

  The phone sometimes freezes during a call, but it's another question... come on Apple, he meets!

  The night last after a call from my mother (his name and picture shown upward when she called) I plugged in my phone and then received a text from her. Only his telephone number appeared.   Delete a contact by mistake and need to put it back. Don't have the original email from the contact.

  Deleted contacts are not moved into the deleted items folder.

  You right-click on an address book and choose the recovery/restore option as shown in the picture attached to my answer? The add-on works fine here to recover deleted contacts.

  I was looking through my contacts today and noticed that there was a lot of registrants (complete with address of home etc.). I do not know and has not added to my phone myself! AFAIK that is not my e-mail contacts. They almost look like they could be from a family member, but we have completely different accounts, numbers, bills, etc. Is there a way I can simply delete these and prevent this from happening again?   It is not at all the games that I play THAT WOW does not block bit matter how long it is left on.

  I have never I restart normally just press ctrl + alt + delete and click Cancel and it continues to run, but sometimes I have to do this several times in about 5 minutes and sometimes its time to time. That's one annoying thing to have to do especially with online such as most games with steam.

  Was wondering if anyone had any ideas on how to possibly get this stop happening.

  I reinstalled the drivers, used windows repair, reinstalled the games and lowered the graphics settings in each of them and nothing seems to stop it.  I thought that the only thing left is to reinstall windows 7 completely.  Any help is welcome.

  I did some research on your card and I saw that when it overheats it can cause games to lock up. Is your dusty machine inside or not properly ventilated? Looks like you have a very nice system, so I don't think you have a problem of hardware limitation.

  Hi, I just switched from outlook express to windows live mail and have had no problems with it, until this:

  I noticed twice already, close to half of my emails (in my hotmail account), everything, randomly missing since the oldest in my Inbox.  I couldn't find any setting for this under the account properties, and I don't know what else could be wrong.

  It is not a matter of show/hide messages because I've seen discussed here... I checked for it.

  Any suggestions?

  I found what my problem was.  It was actually the Mac mail client that I was running on my work computer.  I dug through the settings and found that there is only a box checked that says something like "delete messages from the server after 7 days have recovered."

  I am familiar with mac mail but realize that I probably should imagine cela first place.

  I'm pretty impressed with the pre. I have a problem nagging here, and I hope that someone has faced the front.

  Almost all my pre contacts come from google/gmail. When I update a contact on the Meadow, or via the interface of gmail (web), they are properly replicated. When I delete a contact from the pre, it is correctly deleted out of my gmail (web) interface.

  On the other hand, when I delete a contact from gmail via the web on a standard computer, it NEVER gets deleted on my pre.

  It's kind of a pain because you go through your contacts, trying to weed out the old/irrelevent ones, it is easier to do via the web interface of google on the pre.

  I contacted Palm support and they seem puzzled ("should work" etc.)

  Thanks, I actually tried to remove and re-add my gmail account... seemed to fix my problem for a couple syncs, but then stopped the synchronization again... pending the results of your trouble ticket...

  We have a lot of custom data objects mapped to members of our contact base. If we remove a contact from the contact database, I'm guessing that the CDO remains, but it is mapped is no longer. Is this correct? And what happens to the mapping If the contact is added to the contact database? Don't mapping reappear, or is this something we need to do manually?

  The LCO will remain if a contact is deleted.  If return the contact, that contact has a new id and does not automatically remap.  You must remap it or have a data service that will pick up a game map the folder manually.

• DROID: Contact disappearing act

  A few weeks ago most of my * phone * contacts suddenly disappear from the list (only 8 remain on a list of at least 50). I don't know exactly what the event was triggered the change but I can't get back them, even though I know they are always there. I know this for two reasons: when I receive a call or a text of a person in the list of contacts that are already visible, their name and picture appear and subsequently, I have access to the entry in the list recently called or e-mail application. Two, there are still a lot of contacts in my favorites and often called list that do not appear in the list of the main contacts. I'm not able to locate the invisible contacts in seeking, either. I have my list of contacts set to show only contacts with phones.

  What Gmail groups you selected for display? Open contacts / menu / display options / select gmail / check which groups are selected.

  Also, when you go to accounts & Sync in the phone settings, make sure that the Gmail contacts are always selected for synchronization.

  I also connect to gmail on your PC and watch how your contacts are organized. The contacts created on the Droid are automatically saved to my Contacts, so this group should be displayed on the Droid.

• Contacts deleted on March 7, 2015 update

  This morning I made a few calls from Skype, did a few emails and Skype offer update if accepted.

  Username update operational but all the contacts passed. Tried Outlook, email and lists of Skype contacts but nothing show.

  New registered and in and looked for backup but no sign of any contacts except Skype echo.

  Is anyone else is even suffering or can offer advice.

  Problem identified. Skype has automatically I disconnected my account then I logged into a different account!
  
  I discovered when I tried to enter a number to call during which the point Skype says no credit. This worried me at first as I thought where my money gone?
  
  Question is of course the Skype account restart me in, not mine of course. Sorry that I don't have the details of the account it automatically connected me but it looks like a security breach?
