• Dual WAN router and protocol binding

  Hello! I'm trying to find a dual WAN router with support VPN, which allow me to redirect part of the traffic to a specific port WAN and balancing of this specific traffic in the case of this WAN failure (the latter is preferred but is not entirely necessary) load.

  RV042/G could help me with this? In this case, allow redirection Protocol only? What port/ip forwarding? Or some sort of filtering of packets to redirect to specific WAN ports?

  Hi Jose, RV0XX model (g) supports a protocol source LAN link to extended network destination set. It can be a host of high-end LAN or a single host LAN. It may be the customer service or all services. In the case of a failure of network SCOPE, all links in the Protocol are "ignored" and switch to the active WAN until normal operation is restored.

  I agree with the suggestions. It is best to connect the IP camera to one of the LRT224 router's Ethernet ports. Then you must configure the Port Forwarding or Port Address Translation If you have more than one camera using the same internal port.

  I tried this tool from Cisco RV0xxV3_FirmwareRescueUtility_v4.0.0.7 Web site without success, the problem is there, is one way that you can get the router up and running again?

  The first firmware comes with RV042G is 4.2.0.03, so the firmware utility rescue v4.0.0.7 would not work.

  Given that your will to power cycle automatically RV042G every 45 seconds, and the problem has not disappeared after that you did a reset to factory default, the unit needs a new firmware downloaded. Please, try the following steps.

  1. disconnect the power cable to the unit.

  2. hold the reset (using a paperclip) button, while plugging in the power cable.

  3 look at the DIAG LEDS.

  4. release the reset button when you see the DIAG led are flashing.

  5. a flashing DIAG indicates that the unit runs in start mode, and a server tftp on the device is waiting for a picture of fresh firmware to the address 192.168.1.1.

  6. set up your PC with an IP address in the subnet 192.168.1.x, e.g. 192.168.1.100 and specify as default gateway 192.168.1.1.

  7. try to ping the unit with 192.168.1.1, and you should see a response from the unit.

  8. run a program client tftp (with a command line) and push an image good firmware, for example

  TFTP-I 192.168.1.1

  If the procedure above does not resolve the problem, contact the support center for RMA.

  Hi, thanks for the info. Your Flash for FF files are correct and the SWF file is correct. Flash files are also correct for IE.

  I don't see the Shockwave Flash Object... ActiveX control... Flash10e.ocx (vs 10.0.45.2) that should be in IE Add ons

  and activated.

  For FF, since your Flash files are correct, then you have to look at is your Anti-Antivirus/Spyware/Firewall

  or add on (for IE) or the plug-in/extension/add on FF. something is in conflict and at this stage, it is hard to say anything.

  Retail return your anti-virus, with the version number. Also in FF you use ad-block? You have a pop up software blocker installed? Toolbars that have an add on, etc. to influence the browser?

  Once you have started with the Vista DVD / disque disk recovery, select Service Options, and then select command prompt (no admin password needed in this way)

  Now type:

  C: (or any directory of your system files are located)

  CD windows/winsxs
  del pending.xml

  Then close and restart.  I hope that the problem will be solved.

  Proximity is not supported on the DX series still when you run this software, see the Release Notes for CE8 on pg 19 for the list of features supported/not supported.

  I have the same speed with my ADSL.  I use a laptop game Omen HP with an Intel 7260 half wireless mini map.  My router is an ASUS RT-AC68R.  My router and DSL modem are on the second floor with two walls and a floor between them and my laptop.  I get speeds between 28 and 30 MB/s with 5.26 upward.

• Inaccessible files after the private account user

  When I created my user account, he asked if I wanted to make it private so that no one else using the pc could see my files.  I said yes.  How can I cancel it, as I pull my hard drives when I have in my other House and cannot access the information on this drive now.  Is there an easy way to fix this without having to delete the account and start over?

  When I try to access some files I get a message saying ' *' is not accessible.  My user account is administrator.

  This restriction/access control is implemented using integrated Windows access controls.  As an administrator, you can change these access parameters using the 'Security' tab in the file/folder properties window
  (Right click on the file / folder-> properties-> Security (tab))
  The trick is to put the Security tab appears.  The technique differs depending on whether you have XP Home or XP Pro.  With XP Pro, simply disable "Simple file sharing".
