• Mac Mini issues

  We have 6 iMac in an Ethernet network. We are looking to replace with a MacMini. I have some questions:

  1. Is there a new MacMini since end of 2014 or is it the last? Apple intends to continue offering the MacMini?
  2. A connectable MacMini to an older iMac for its display?  Alternatively, a single view option would be necessary - another monitor?
  3. It does not resemble the willing MacMini to an Ethernet port?  Is there a model that makes?  Otherwise, what is a solution to integrate a Mini in an Ethernet network?

• Windows 10 warnings

  I contacted the support when I first received the Microsoft upgrade prompt to Windows 10. I had reservations about the installation of this because I saw a post where he says that my package of care should be invalidated with the upgrade.   Seems that those with experience of tech answer to this question I posted about potential problems if I try to install Windows 10 without technical support. I think maybe it is not a good idea for me to try this and will have to wait until I can afford to bring in a computer repair place or wait until I can afford to buy a new computer about 2 years from now!  Since no one answered this, it leads me to believe there are problems with this facility by train.

  In fact, unless your device of particular model has been tested by HP to run with Win10, THAT NO one knows how it will work, or even IF it will work.  The evaluator in Microsoft compatibility win 10 certainly doesn't know what there are a dozens of people who have received the compatibility report 100% of this tool to have their PC trashed by the upgrade.

  The the more safe thing to do is to do a complete backup image of your PC to an external drive using a tool like Macrium Reflect:

  Macrium reflect (MR) provides a FREE version that can be used to image and restore partitions or drives together.

  What I recommend is the following:
  (1) download and install Macrium reflect (MR)
  (2) run M. and choose the option: "Create an image of the partition (s) required to backup and restore Windows" to write a full backup on an external drive
  (3) use the option to create a CD or a USB startup key

  NOW, you have the means to restore a full functional system of externally by car in a few minutes only.

  However, if you feel confident in doing so, I understand.

  I drove my laptop back to Win7, because a complete work of Win7 is better than a bad Win10 work.

  Yes, it's always the default value 10 000.  This can be verified with the FIFO. Write method and check the number of empty elements remaining, although this requires the FIFO be configured as host target.

  For a target to the host, it is assumed by default to 10,000 without calling the FIFO. Configure the method, the only way I can think to test it is to loop FPGA VI writes in the FIFO and waits for a timeout, and then check the iteration count.  It can be checked using the method of configuration and the depth reading, however it does not run the method.

  In short, I believe that the default value is 10,000, although I'm not 100% sure for all cases.  I checked 2 cases for my projects, using the write method and configures the depth using the reading.

  Is it a fairly roundabout answer without committing?

• HP ZBook G2: How can I know if I have 4G or not?

  I have the HP Zbook G2 and I just noticed that there is a gap under the battery for a SIM card compartment. So I put a but nothing happened and, in addition, because never, I installed the drivers 4G, I can't really say whether or not I have the 4G module.

  How can I check this? I just tried to install the drivers 4G on the site, but this changed absolutely nothing on the machine.

  You can take - or perhaps use the Belarc program to help you check your configuration.

  I can't answer the question on the slot.  The slot is perhaps for a smart card.  Small 'slots' are perhaps for "SD" memory card readers

• BlackBerry Z30 incoming calls NOT Ringing - Z30

  Hello

  I recently did a quick reset on my Blackberry Z30 (outfits the two buttons for volume 10 seconds), this fixed my initial problem to experience the shift answering calls.

  When I get calls, now, however there is no ringing sound... I can see the incoming call and I answer the call, but there is no ringing sound.

  I tried to ensure that the volume buttons have turned up full, I even checked my notification settings and made sure that they are on normal. I checked also double the settings on the normal setting, ensure that the volume meter is full.

  Yet even after that, then by restarting the phone several times, still me the same problem.

  Does anyone have the magical answer, I would really advice, because miss me calls because there is no ringing sound.

  I tried to change the notification setting of 'silent' to 'normal' to see if it helps... but it did not help.

  I have not changed anything in the settings or downloading apps, I even tried to reset some default functionality and he still refuses to make the Bell Rings when someone calls me.

• Push to a workflow from office

  Hello-

  I see that when an image is pushed to the Photoshop Mix Office it seems ideally in the desktop version of Photoshop.  When the same image is saved to the desktop after the change, is it automatically updated in the application of mix?

  My own experiences say the answer to this question is 'no '.  Assuming that the 'no' is indeed the correct answer, which is considered the best workflow?  It assumes that the user will not want to send the changes back to Photoshop Mix?  When I right click on the file name of the document open in Photoshop, I see that the file is stored in a directory of obscure 3 different levels of directories under the Adobe folder in Application Support.  As this doesn't seem to be a temporary file, it will be necessary manually delete the files in this directory to avoid eating place additional system?

  In research on this question, I watched the tutorial Photoshop video Mix and see that it made reference to files saved in assets on creative cloud.  I do not see the file, but it does not seem to show any changes since Office Photoshop.  This means that the file is now saved in 2 different locations... the cloud + the above directory of obscure?

  Your experiences are correct - after you send the file to the desktop, it won't get synced to your gallery of Mix.

  If you want to synchronize to Photoshop Mix, you should use ' Save as ' and enregistrer to save in your creative cloud folder, then open the PSD of Mix. Just by using 'Save' will save in the obscure book you mentioned, not the creative cloud folder. Indeed, the file is saved in 2 different places.

• Adding new Images for a book registered?

  I started a book the other day, knowing it would be an ongoing project. When I was working on it, I created the book saved and baptized. I have no problems opening the book of collections. My question is now that I saved it, it only shows the images that I used for the book in the film.

  When I select "All THE PHOTOGRAPHS" in the film window (leaving it in my saved book previously), it opens a new unsaved book.

  How can I keep my open record book and get the rest of the images in my library on the film?

  I had the same problem - and eventually developed a fairly simple answer! :-)

  You will see a folder your book saved, which will show the number of images stored with him. In library mode, just drag the additional images to the folder and you will see the increase as a result.

  OCR is, good OCR. Textual content systematic peut/don't come out pretty well. Any other content, not so good. "Clean up" can become an aggravating experience fairly quickly.
  FWIW - when the need arises, I found that it is more effective to remaster scanned content technical rather than try OCR output 'clean up '.

• Get the metadata from the images information (CS3, AS, JS)

  I tried using AppleScript and JavaScript to get the photo captions using linkXmp.description.

  This works when the image has been edited in Photoshop, but not when it has just been imported into the page and done nothing for her... The answer is "No metadata information available", a fair enough answer because it don't disagree that the information might be there.

  Well, it might not be a question of inters for many of you, but I'd appreciate really no response to it.
  In fact, I am new in this area with an MBA with no BI or Oracle certification. I'm just learn by studying the documentation and read different posts in the forum OBIEE.
  I want to join Business Intelligence as my professional field so I need the answer to a few questions to convince me.

  2. is it possible for me to get a job on the international market without certifications OR what are the minimum requirements.

  OBIEE is very good for the prospective career. But before you decide to choose the OBIEE career path with the MBA back on the ground, you need to know some things. I have indicated below according to your questions below:

  1 > you can very well go for OBIEE with MBA background. Some of my friends also have the same career path. So you can certainly opt for OBIEE.
  2 > now Oracle has no certification program for OBIEE. But they are expected to launch the certification program soon for OBIEE. But you can pretty much get a job on OBIEE without certification, but you must be through your preparations and concepts.
  3 > a > AS in OBIEE you should have knowledge of the concepts of data warehouse, SQL, BI answers, dashboard, offers, disconnected Analytics, BI publisher etc. Knowledge about the above will make you feel at home when you start working on OBIEE in live projects.

  b > once you start learning OBIEE you will always start from the beginner. While you gradually learn the tricks and trades, you'll get comfortable. But getting a job, you should be at least a mediocre in the aforementioned areas. That can be done if you are doing a big practice.

  4 > there is no program of certification on OBIEE. But you can go to the SIEBEL Analytics certification programs.

  OK, I entirely agree with you on the usability of the issues of access point by default, not only for the reason that you MENTION, but for many more. It is also never possible to add a button shape on a matter of hot spot, because the whole issue can be clicked, everything can be an access point. Which means that if the user clicks the form button (I often offers to provide assistance or information on the issue as the score for this question, or the total of points already earned) which will be counted as a bad hotspot click.

• A more successful experience in the creation of UIs compositable configuration dialog boxes

  A few weeks I posted an experience in creating user interfaces using sub-panels transparent compositable. The approach can be described as, "It was less remarkable for being novel."

  Today, I write another attempt, this one along more traditional lines, and a lot more successful. Notable: this can be any arbitrary composition of this last AND it solved the problem of order TAB.

  This solution uses an image control and makes copies N of a control. When the user moves a control or move the mouse over the control, a real control slides in this position to be able to catch the events (updated mouse more attract State, highlight to the keyboard focus, manage typing, etc.). If the value changes, a master data table is updated and the image control is updated.

  It is something that has been tried in various forms in the past, but there are two aspects of this particular implementation that make nice:

  1. its programming interface for specifying the behavior of objects should make it fairly easy for a user of the framework generate dialog boxes programmatically
  
  
  2. It handles the problem of TAB without flickering, something I've not seen in other attempts

  This idea creates conversation about previous experience - thanks to those of you who have posted on various forums, e-mail me, or, in some cases, showed up at my office. That last is not something I am encouraging unless you work at OR... just saying. :-)

  Now, this experiement has already donnГ an interesting conversation. We note that, as long as the controls are instantiated independently of each other - in other words, any property of a control depends on the property of another control - this system of dialogue is progressing well. But in this experiment, I implemented the option button, which interact with each other - when set to True, the other false go. As soon as the controls are starting to interact with others (such as aging a control when a checkbox is disabled, or with expandable sections or really complex cases like updating a chart as a change in options, as happens in some config dialogs Express VI) then we leave who need ways to make reference to other controls. That leads us quickly in one of two directions: name the controls or creation of references. The naming approach is certainly my preference because it fits better with the data stream and I can make interesting effects with breaking apart some of the tree. But it quickly starts sounding like "Please implement a XAML parser in LabVIEW." For those of you familiar with XAML, in the world of user interface design, it could very well be the best thing since sliced bread. A XAML string would fit well with the data flow, and we could start that accumulate. I am reluctant to go down this road for two reasons. One, many have noted, it is really not a good library written in LabVIEW that can give me a useful analysis of XML DOM tree. Two, it is a huge project and my gut sense is that you need to fill a pretty big part of it before you would start to see any return on investment. But it is worth thinking to-I could be wrong. Wouldn't be the first time. This code I posted today can at least help you get started on the side of the generation if one of you decides to become laborious.

  I'll have my attention away from this project for the time being, coding in G is a lot of fun, and I wish I could spend several days to do, but this has been a side project and it is time to return to my projects assigned in the programming of text. Building a powerful platform for the automatic generation of user interface in LabVIEW would be really useful - I see a lot of requests for this sort of thing, and other languages are ahead of us in this area.
