  I had my Pavilion dv8 for awhile.  I started having problems with the slider treble/bass control. He would sporadically pop-up and begin to change the treble or bass at irregular intervals. He also unplug randomly my wireless connection. I tried to solve the problem by downloading a driver, but the problem remains. At first, it was just a little annoying, fixed by clicking the mouse or pressing the upper button of the internet, but now it of REALLY boring, popping up even as I write this post.   You have questions that are beyond the scope of this forum.

  You have changed a systemboard and used the wrong part number. The motherboard you have used is for a computer laptop touchsmart dv8t, not a computer laptop dv8. This makes the troubleshooting your own question, because there are so many things that you have not made correctly.  If your laptop was not the touchsmart dv8t model, then there is a problem with the connector that connects the LCD screen and the motherboard. This is probably your biggest problem is.

  What is the number of complete product or the name of the product from your laptop?

  DV8 is a series of models which includes a portable, including version touchsmart allowed that you have installed.

  I'll put it here and it would be great to get an answer, but I don't expect one. Trying to help someone else with their BIOS problem I ended up corrupting my own. I tried using the same method I used to save my HDX18, but it got to the point where the machine doesn't even recognize the USB flash drive more.

  So I gave up all of this and I decided to resolder a new preprogrammed chip, which is easier in the long run anyway.

  The problem is that there are two Winbond (a BIOS chip manufacturing) pieces of BIOS on the motherboard, which is the BIOS chip. It was suggested that one is a controller for the keyboard.

  One near the keyboard ZIF connector is 25X16AVSIG and the other across the MoBo close optical drive connector is 25X40AVSIG.

  Which is the right to replace?

  What I really need, is for a person of HP to take a quick look at the schema for the MoBo and tell me who's who.

• Digital Persona software stops working on the Pavilion dv8-1250ea

  Hello!

  I noticed that Digital Persona, the software for the JJUJ scanner integrated on my HP Pavilion dv8-1250ea stops working whenever the laptop wakes from standby or hybernation mode. On the login screen, the icon on the right referring to the fingerprint reader warning flashing at a rate of about twice a second and the following note says "fingerprint reader not detected". So I'll type the password manually, but the cursor in the field password prevents jump at the beginning of the field at the same pace, and it seems as if there is a current discount. The only way to log is press the 'end' key immediately before each character in the password, which is a disappointment.

  I recently downloaded an update for Digital Persona, but it has not solved the problem.

  Any ideas how to fix? Thanks in advance!

  Here is a work around, see if it works... You will need to go to Device Manager, depending on what hardware you have; AuthenTec orvalidity... Double-click on it... who will launch the Properties Windows... Click on tab power management... this tab, uncheck the box that reads "allow the computer to turn off the device to save power"... and see if it works... ' "

  For now again works the webcam?   I uninstalled the composite USB port where the webcam is attached using secure and restarted the computer.  The webcam worked again but I need to reinstall the drivers for ENE CIR Receiver because he did not have a sufficient sources.

  Remember triggers of 100 degrees blackscreen, the screen is off, it is always possible to turn off the computer with the appropriate key combination.   I'm trying to configure a USB external (interface audio) on my HP Pavilion DV8 1250ea. The device driver fails to install properly and is unable to detect that the device is connected (even if I hear the Ding-Dong, and he appears in the Manager of devices, but with an exclamation point).

  I understand that the software was not automatically installing for the HP Photosmart C7280. I'll try my best to help you with this problem. The software and drivers are not previously installed on the laptop.

  Here is the download page for software HP Photosmart full feature and drivers, download and save to your desktop.  Follow the steps described in this document for the installation of the printer software in Windows 7 for a USB cable connection. Make sure you unplug the USB cable from the computer and wait that you asked before you plug it into the computer.

  Also note that a quick tap of the button / stop puts the tablet in standby mode, called "Standby connected," that will drain a small amount of power, but allows almost instantaneous startup.  If you want to stop the Tablet, a long press on-off button will do this, as swipe from right and choose settings, power, stop.
