DVD drive will not eject a disc: Lenovo 3000 desktop

The DVD - RW that I use as a backup disk became full, so I erased it. Unfortunately now I am unable to eject the disc. Desktop Lenovo do not have a small hole where you can insert a paperclip to open manually draw lots. Any ideas?

Yes, I solved the problem. To eject a disc (or open the status bar), the only way is to turn off and restart the computer. Fortunately this problem occurs only rarely.

Given that I have uninstall powerDVD on my laptop and alcohol 52% of my laptop, I'm unable to read any disc DVD or HD-DVD

When I insert a disc, the departure by car to analyze and scan again and a new analysis... some applications like IE are frozen during this scan, then after a few minutes it stops just analyzes the disk and adds nothing. Impossible to explore the disc, Device Manager indicates everhing is correct and up-to-date.
I have try to uninstall the drive from Device Manager after the abolition of upper and lower filter keys registry, no effect on my problem.
I have also try to reinstall "Hardware Configuration" and HD DVD player, but no results

Someone has an idea or another trick to try?

Maybe you should clean the registry because there might be hints of powerDVD. For this, you can use CCcleaner:

Cd/dvd driver for my Toshiba laptop will not work. It lasted about a year, then he became gradually sporadic to read/write or ejection and by last winter, he stopped all together. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the drivers for it, and in Device Manager, it says that the device is functioning normally; every once in a blue moon it will suddenly eject, but then if you put something in nothing happens, even not with the original disks. With the repair utility, it says something like unreadable media, at best. I'm a little confused as to what is happening here, so, what steps should I take to verify if it is indeed the drive disc or something in the software?

Maybe the lens is dirty and must be cleaned with a Microfiber cloth. Open try CD/DVD and try to clean the lens with a clean Microfiber cloth.

DevCon didn't find it. It will not open even if I don't get to Device Manager and check for changes to the system. I deleted the registry entries upper and lower limit. Any other suggestions? Well I have not tried to play anything or anything either burning on my laptop in a while and all of a sudden is not working more I followed suggestions on the microsoft site, but when I went into Device Manager to check on my drive anywhere it lists same CD-ROM/dvd-rom I'm so confused, I don't know what I tried to use microsoft not fixed and it's just as stuck as I am all he tells me it is than its disconnected or missing and cannot be found.

Oh and while I'm asking questions my sound stopped working a few months back the small volume in the lower right corner icon has an 'x' next to him now and he says: no audio output device is installed, I tried following the suggestions online for this with no luck either. I hope that its not anything internal since I just had the motherboard replaced by a few months before this happened

Used speed, the actual brand of discs, burning and if file Live or mastered all come into play.

You have disk problems as the CD/DVD is actually 4 discs in 1 case (CD & DVD burning and)
Playback of CD and DVD). So it is not unusual for parts from 1 or 2 to not work so that others do
correctly.

Burning at low speed, or by using the master could help. A CD/DVD cleaner might help.

CD/DVDs have a tolerance + - and your can read/write on the edge outside these discs
tolerances. They may be delivered, but it is generally more economical to replace the disk.

receiving error code 39 for dvd, driver will not load.

replace corrupt cdrom.sys

small management business of vista 32 bit. receive error code 39 for dvd. driver will not load. I tried to uninstall. same question on re - start.

I tried regedit suggestions. UpperFilter deleted, no lower filter exists.

In addition to the above on the excellent advice, cdrom.sys is not corrupt.

DVD player will not read the discs more after burn fail

Something strange happen to my DVD player. I tried to burn a blank DVD but it failed without any error message: the DVD has not been recognized. Since then the DVD player will not only read one of my other burned DVD that I need for my daily work. Can anyone help?
