DVD player always causes the reboot and hardware failure

Whenever I double click on a specific title in a DVD the system restarts immediately. This happens with all stakeholders: Microsoft Media player, Roxio Cine player, easy DVD player. They all see the DVD and start it it fine, as will the titles on the DVD, but when I try to play one, the system restarts ALLWAYS IMMEDIATELY. I use Windows XP Professional SP3 with 1.5 GB of RAM. You will never have any problems reading or recording of the DVD data files.

Is there some requirement of space on the hard drive to play a DVD? Which one and how much? (I have windows, software and cache HD on different logical drives.

Make sure that your system is clean of any malware.

Check the event viewer to find out why it is restart immediately.

It happens about once every 5 times as the button eject. I'm running a dual monitor, with a monitor on a DVI input and the other on a HDMI input. Both monitors sparkle.

So after the video driver updated, he set a maximum resolution on my HDMI output to 1600 x 900. That's if access you the resolution settings through the control panel > display > adjust resolution. Is not that how most people set the resolution?

The update of the driver has replaced the max resolution by default setting, but it can be given via Intel display control panel (no was not yet aware, I had such a control panel). This control panel option is available for the Intel graphics controller hardware. To set the resolution, right click on the desktop and select "graphics properties." Select 'Advanced Mode', and then configure the resolution 1920 x 1080. Once the parameter is committed through this control panel, the Windows 7 Control Panel settings to work as you would expect, and the monitor is the 1080 p display.

It is delayed. Pardon my French.

Well, at least now I'm back where I started, IE still has the problem with the eject button causing the dual display to flicker. It happened only twice since the update of the video driver, then perhaps that these events were flukes?

original title: Netbook Windows 7 problem

New computers coming often pre-installed with Windows 7 have what is called a recovery partition. This is used to reinstall an operating system in the case of a system failure. To access it, you need to start when you start your computer by pressing a function key. This can be either F1, F2, F9, F10, F11, F12 key DEL or tab. See the manual that came with your PC for instructions on how to reinstall Windows.

If your recovery partition is not available or damaged, you must contact the manufacturer of your computer, and request that a defined recovery disk you can use to reinstall Windows 7. They could practice a small shipping and handling.

  • Jump in the middle of an audio track streaming on various sites causes the stuttering and audio glitch

    Hello

Please refer to this thread for support on the technical support of SoundCloud forums. The thread contains all relevant information, including videos of the screenshots problem and console, made by myself and others. https://www.soundcloudcommunity.com/SoundCloud/topics/skipping-to-the-middle-of-a-track-causes-stuttering-and-glitchy-audio-chrome-Firefox

In short, when you try to move forward for streaming audio, there is a memory buffer/stuttering problem that prevents a correct reading of the track. This problem is confirmed on SoundCloud and Traxsource and other people in the support thread mentioned Mixcloud and other streaming sites. In other words, it is not the special streaming service fault or another.

The problem does not occur in Microsoft Edge, Internet Explorer or Chrome. Well, to clarify, when the issue was published on SoundCloud support forums, Chrome was having the same problem. However, they made a version a few days ago thrust, that fixed it.

Here's my original on the SoundCloud support post (less), which has the relevant details. Note that we have updated both Flash and Firefox recently, so although I have mentioned earlier in my original post, everyone involved has since updated their browsers and Flash.

From now on, the only solution for the problem is to go back to Firefox 40.0.2. Thanks for any help =)

    Matt

    Original message =.

Jump in the middle of a track causes the stuttering and audio glitch (Firefox).

I am running Windows 10 Pro.

There seems to be a problem of caching that affect reading - I started noticing this problem three or four days ago. Previously, I could jump through my feeds at will, go straight until the middle of the tracks or mixes of listen seconds and determine if I liked the track. Now, I can't do it on Firefox 41.0.1. The problem is simply annoying on songs that are 3 or 4 minutes in length, as I must leave "cache" maybe ten seconds before jumping. Unfortunately, the problem is a game-breaker on mixtures which, for example, are 90 minutes long. If I jump to a point directly in the middle of the combination, nothing happens. The play button alternates between the 'Play' symbol and the symbol of 'Caching' ('... "), and so audio resumes, it is glitchy and consists of different parts of the track being played at the same time.

I've eliminated my internet connection as the source of the problem by loading on board. On the edge of 20.10240.16384, the problem does not exist. I can scroll down to any mix of 2 hours in my stream, click on the middle of it, and the audio starts right up. No caching, without stuttering or glitching.

I drove back Flash version 18 to see if it solved the problem in Firefox, but it did not. The problem persisted, so I re-updated to Flash 19.

Yes, I understand how all versions and updates to work. I meant it as a generation of powder magazine. My bad.

I consider this problem to be solved. Several different pre-release versions of Firefox have solved the problem; I have personally used both of them that work perfectly. A representative of Bugzilla stated that the patch will be integrated into Firefox 42, which will be released on 3 November.

    C. recent changes made on the computer?

  • His grave suddenly on a DVD player, but in the first, still and WM Player

    Hello

The sound on the DVD I burned in still suddenly falls to almost inaudible--but only when played on a DVD player! The problem does not occur on a computer (well in the first, still and DVD sounds good on all players like windows media, real player, etc.).

Drop noise happens in the same place, about 40 seconds in the 1/2 hour video. Then, the sound blasts at full volume for the end credits I inspected the 2 audio tracks in the first and track volumes do not change, nor my knots of volume control in the securities themselves explain the problem.

Why it would sound good in all applications on a computer, but not on a DVD player... and why the first 40 seconds would sound good on the DVD player?

I could hear volume of 'regular' dialogue in the left and much softer, but not absent, in the right. I can't guarantee this isn't an artifact on this end.

I think you have solved the audio problem at first. Looks like you have a stereo audio track from a source who had a microphone in a single channel. Instead of panning, "fill right" (or left, I always have to check myself on this) so that you get the dialogue on both sides.

I don't think that you dismissed a phase problem. But I suspect that when solve you the problem of the track, your audio will be correct.

  • Satellite L500 - CD/DVD player has stopped playing CDs and DVDs

I was with Windows Media Player yesterday to copy music to my MP4 Player. It read 2 cd, but on the 3rd, it stopped working. I thought it was because it was a CD however, burned my CD store, I tried buying and everything and even DVD and it takes forever for the driver trying to read, and then in the my computer window, it pops up a message: "Please insert a disc into drive D" and ejects the CD or DVD.

I checked the properties and it says that the device is functioning properly.

I even ran the PC DIagnotistc tool on the D drive, but he jumps right over him.

Any ideas? My phone is only a month or 2 old.

    Hello

Follow these steps to reinstall the Beats Audio interface.

Download IDT Audio Installer on the link below and save it in your downloads folder.

    http://ftp.HP.com/pub/SoftPaq/sp52501-53000/sp52658.exe

One time finished, open windows control panel, open Device Manager and open sound, video and game controllers.  Right click on the IDT device and select uninstall - also, you should get a command prompt to delete the current driver, check the box allow this and then proceed to uninstall.

When you are done, reboot the laptop and let Windows load completely.  Open your download folder, right-click on the IDT Installer and select "Run as Administrator" to launch the installation.  When this has completed, restart the computer again.

  • DVD ROM disappeared from the computer and VISTA Device Manager

    Hello

I know there are a lot of discussions on the same topic, but I read everything and still my problem persists.

I'm pretty sure that the problem occurred after installing iTunes. The DVD ROM is no longer accessible on my laptop. The light flashes and the attempts to start a disk, but then nothing.

I was in the high register looking for filters and bass to remove (such as published in the number of threads). I found only UpperFilters which I deleted but still nothing. I also tried Microsoft FixIt but does not have the ROM either.

What to do next? Can anyone help? He began to depress me now.

Well, I have solved my problem. After trying everything I read and was advised to try.

I simply unplugged the laptop and handed. Then, I reviewed the reader noticing only so slightly, I could see the silver housing of the reader. So I applied a bit of pressure, pushing the player to the laptop so that I could see is no longer the silver case.

I have not for a minute think that might be the problem. Once the laptop is started, Windows immediately installed the driver and open computer it was. DVD ROM restored.

Not sure if this may help someone of you guys, but if I post my "fix" :-)

iMac 7.1-480 GB SSD, 6 GB RAM, 27 "screen. You try to view DVD DVD player. Program starts normally, but when playing DVD we get grey screen, no video at all. However, audio plays normally. Have tried this with several DVDs, all have the same answer. See screenshot, below.

Computer works fine in all other respects. Any help/recommendations would be appreciated.

A screenshot from the DVD player would be grey like that but obviously it should play ok on the screen.

My only guess is to replace the hard drive?

    Thank you

    > Turn off accelerometer does not help. Internet research indicates that it is possible a motherboard problem. Replacement motherboard solves problems for about 6 months to a year, then it returns.

I doubt that it could be a motherboard problem, what the gbaniseter say this happens when it pick up or move the m400, then it will crash or lock up.
This seems to be a problem of HARD drive and it s nothing uncommon who, after a long period of use of the disk HARD start HARD drive malfunction is a sensitive device and can die because of the physical restraint
Replace the HARD drive and check if the problem would happen!

  • Satellite P20: Device DVD Player reads only the DVD but cannot burn CD & DVD

    Hello

I have a toshiba P20, and I'm having a lot of problems with it. One of them is my DVD UJ811. I don't really know what is happening, the drive was already replaced and a few weeks later, it was exactly like the front, and the service provider made me pay almost 70EUR for a budget of 400EUR rejected.

I would like to know what really should do, I can't read the CD and I can not burn CD/DVDs, I can just read DVDs, nothing else.

I have seen some forums on the net, too many people in the world has the same problem I have and I really need to know what is the best solution for me.
    Thank you

    Hello Rafael

I'm very surprised by your post it here because I've used Satellite P20-303 (a red) about two years. Laptop is now used by my brother and it works perfectly. I don't really know what problems you have, but I never noticed anything suspicious. Up to now I removed the cooling Grill on the bottom twice to clean the unit, and that's all. After that laptop computer cleanup runs a lot more quiet then before.

Back to ad: I have to be honest and say that I traded with TEAC DV - W22E DVD - rom. original drive was DVD - RW and TEAC DV-W22E DVD-RAM. My brother use it pretty extensively, but until now there is no problem at all.

I don't really know what the service is doing, but if possible replace the drive TEAC one. I can tell you with certainty, it works very well. Moreover, according to the description of your problem, I am sure that the drive is faulty.
You can replace one. It's very simple to do.
