DXDIAG missing (?) on the Office of Win8 p7 - 1446 s

I recently bought a new p7 - 1446 s.  (I also used this community before and received a incredibly fast and accurate three answers... try again ) In the docs, it tells the user how to find the version of DirectX that is running on the comp.  The State of instructions to type DXDIAG in the start, select, menu and then access one of the tabs version number.  The problem is when I typed DXDIAG on the start screen, DXDIAG never came.  Tried three times to convince myself that I had not typed wrong, etc... same results.  I'm looking for on which version is running?   (All came in my ignorance of the computer when I started researching on why the videos did not always work properly.)  I have no doing anything with the version number once I see it (as change/upgrade day/etc), but I thought that it was strange that the instructions for the computer listed a function that there was no business.

k_heard,

  • It could be a mistake in the registry - if you use the registry cleaners, the structure might have been skipped.  In this case, you can try using System Restore to put the system in a place where work dxdiag.

Using Microsoft System Restore (Windows 8)

You might miss a library file, although it seems a bit lame for a new system.

  • One of the locations to check the executable dxdiag: C:\Windows\System32

  • Another method to find and run dxdiag

Windows key > type 'run' (without quotes) > open the box run > type dxdiag, and then click OK

The point is not that your system is missing DirectX - check if you have all related updates for it.

  • OCR scan shortcut missing in the center of solutions on Win8.1

OCR scan shortcut is missing from the solution using Win8.1 Center

    I use a printer Photosmart C4780

    Hi jimfer,

If you previously had rock, I suspect you had a printer in the past offered by the OCR software. The c4780 has no OCR outside the full feature software and drivers that moved.

I suggest you download and install the software for the wireless, I can't guarantee that the OCR software so that it will work correctly with your printer, but we can try Officejet 8500.

Here's another post written by @MissTeriLynn which validates my suspicion and already has the link to the software for the 8500.  Option no. OCR in the center of the HP Solutions.

    I hope this helps.

  • ATL100.dll is missing on the computer. It is part of Dell Dock. It appeared after that office update said he had to shut down some programs

I got this message after you install the update to the office. It keeps me to open Dell Dock... Since then, I had this problem and after having tried several fixes, I deleted Dell Dock to the computer. I have now the installer msi Dell Dock remains on computer. How can #1 I remove this msi. #2 How can I reinstall ATL100.dll'

#3 so I can reinstall missing dll. and msi, then I maybe reinstall Dell Docker. It seems that when the update or install some programs that I can't let

programs or files open to be closed automatically. Some updates or installation asks me to close the Dell Dock, so it can continue.

    Hello Steve,.

I'm sorry for the delayed answer.

As you said, you first got the error message during Office updates and receive this error message systematically when installing Dell Dock, so I you suggest to uninstall and reinstall Dell Dock and then check if you get the error message. To do this, follow these steps:

    1. Try running the fixit: problems that programs may not be installed or uninstalled. This utility removes all previous versions of the uninstalled programs corrupted registry fixes that corrects the problems as the new installer programs.
    2. After the execution of the resolution of the problems, try installing Dell Dock on your system and check if you get the error ATL100.dll.

If you still get the error message for ATL100.dll, try the following steps:

    1. Click Start, type cmd in the start search.
    2. Right click on cmd and click run as administrator.
    3. At the command prompt, type the following commands and press ENTER after each command.
      takeown /f ATL100.dll
      regsvr32 ATL100.dll
    4. Close the command prompt after you run the two commands above.
    5. Try reinstalling Dell Dock and check, but the problem persists.

After return your results for assistance.

  • Power cord IPS L: Hp monitor 23 inch HP Pavilion 23xw does not take to the office?

Good so I recently bought a new desktop computer HP and monitor, but does not have the cord that connects the monitor to the computer (I think that's what we call a vga?) or I guess that is not compatible.

The office, I ordered is a P5Q80AV of HP ENVY 750 #ABA_1 desktop PC
This is what looks like the back of it, and I guess the part surrounded by a circle is where I would plug the power cord of the monitor to the computer?

The monitor is a HP Pavilion 23xw 23 inch IPS LED backlit monitor J7Y75AA #ABA
    It's the rope

Am I missing something here, or do I have to return this and buy another monitor? Where can I get something else that will connect the monitor to the computer?

I apologize if this sounds stupid, I'm just not tech savy.

Your graphics card HDMI, it seems that your monitor is also.

So, you can use an HDMI cable to connect your PC to your monitor.

Or you will need a VGA adapter DVI [masculine] [man].

The top connector is DVI - D [Dual Link] and only supports digital displays.

The lower connector is DVI - I [double link] and support a display either analog or digital.

"The upgrade patch cannot be installed by the Windows Installer service because the program to be upgraded is may be missing or the upgrade patch may update a different version of the program"

If I just click Setup on the office 2010 dvd he moved very well on the same VM window7.
