Lightroom does not recognize any of my file types [DNG / JPEG etc] and is unable to import? any ideas for a fix?

It's impossible. LR is a non-destructive editor and photo management. For her to not see images of the files would make it one of the worst of these programs tyupes.

So there is a parameter that you have screwed up in the import dialog window that prevents your DNG, TIFF, JPG, PSD, PNG, CMYK and film formats appear in the import window.

So show us a screenshot of your import window.

More than likely you have chosen a destination that has all the permissions read/write to your username.

  • Windows 7 does not recognize any keyboard, except the v1.0 of MS natural ergonomic Keyboard 4000 defective

I have a very strange problem.

I have a desktop computer Windows 7 64-bit edition, all of a sudden about a third of the keys on my Microsoft Keyboard stops working.

So, I bought a new generic keyboard.

    The problem

    1. If I plug the natural ergonomics MS Keyboard 4000 v1.0-it recognizes the keyboard, BUT it does not recognize one of the buttons on the left and right of the keyboard.

    2. If I plug any USB keyboard or a Bluetooth keyboard on it - it does not recognize.

However, the Bureau will recognize any wired (USB) or mouse wireless (bluetooth) connected.

It baffles me that the bureau will recognize a usb or bluetooth mouse mouse - but that it will not recognize the bluetooth keyboard or a usb keyboard.

    I tried many things

    1. connect the USB and Bluetooth keyboards in my laptop and check that they work properly. -They are.

    2. I tried using different USB ports on the desktop. He has not made a difference.

    3. my computer allows you to access its bios using F8 - I checked that my material was grateful the Generic USB keyboard before loading Windows. (I could select F8 and bring up the desktop in mode of Bios Configuration).

    4. I tried to start Windows in safe mode. That did not help at all.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  • iTunes does not recognize any of my iPhones (Windows 10)

I've recently updated iTunes 12.4 and now my iPhone 5s, and my iPhone 4 are not recognized by iTunes. They appear as 'Apple iPhone' in my file Explorer, but are not accessible via iTunes or iFunBox. I tried all the options in the management of the link here:

If iTunes does not recognize your iPhone, iPad or iPod - Apple Support

    I removed the lockdown folder.

    I tried several cables.

When I go into Device Manager, there is no "Apple Mobile Device USB Driver" under "In Bus USB controllers", but there is 'Apple iPhone' under 'portable '. If you're looking for an update to this pilot says 'Windows has determined the driver software for your device is up-to-date' "MTP USB device".

More interesting still, I went down to iTunes 12.1.3, thinking that would take me back to a working version, but in fact it STILL does not recognize my phone(s)!

    What the hell is happening?

If your iOS device does not appear in iTunes, try the following:

    1. Open Control Panel > Device Manager
    2. Plug in your device
    3. Locate Bus USB Controllers > Apple Mobile Device USB Driver.
It is also possible that the device may appear under imaging devices, portable devices or other devices or as a device USB of MTB.
    4. Right-click and select software update of the driver...
    5. Click Browse my computer for driver software
    6. Go to C:\Program Files\Common Apple Mobile Device Support\Drivers or
      C:\Program Files (x 86) \Common Files\Apple\Mobile Device Support\Drivers
    7. Click on let me pick from a list of drivers for devices on my computer
    8. Click on Apple Mobile Device USB Driver
    9. Click Next, then close and exit the Device Manager

To step 3 above, open the Device Manager. Expand one of the articles that are listed.

    • USB Bus controllers
    • Imaging devices
    • Portable devices
    • Other devices

Plug in the appliance. You should hear the telltale Windows sound device connection and a Division must acquire a new entry. This should be your device. It cannot be labelled properly at this point. If you do not hear a suspicious noise cable damaged.

Or try If iTunes does not your iPad, iPhone or iPod - Apple Support

If not try a complete tear down and rebuild iTunes in accordance with the resolution of the problems with iTunes for Windows updates.

Or try to go back to the last version of iTunes that has worked for you. See the programs installation of iTunes to download links. If you roll back to 12.4.0.119 to 12.3.3.17 or 12.3.2.35, for example, then you will also need restore the database of the library in the manner described in the empty/corrupted after upgrade/crash iTunes library. The tip makes suggestions to reintroduce recent purchases, so at worst, you lose a few meters or a newly created playlist.

  • HP Envy 15 - q47002 i7: laptop overheating, does not recognize any USB. Even in the Bios.

    Hello

I bought this product last year, so my warranty wore off.

My laptop is overheating and it is very slow at this point (even videos are not working well). I tried to clean it up but it was without result.  I want the game and computationally intensive applications, but I'm afraid of the motherboard or hard drive failure.

Now to the point. I can't install the new OS, any OS because this laptop doesn't have a DVD player and it doesn't recognize any usb 2.0 or 3.0.  I tried to change the options in the Bios and I tried to uninstall and install the drivers (they are up to date).

What should I do? I can't install a new system because of this problem, and I can't use anything more demanding than youtube which is really annoying since this laptop has good specifications.

I am currently running Windows 8.1 which I got when I made a purchase.

    I hope someone answers!

    Thank you.

EDIT: In the Device Manager it says device not installed with yellow exclamation point. By Usb or ext hdd. And it will not find the device-specific drivers. As I never need them on another PC or laptop.

  • Vista does not recognize any disk in the disk drive

Vista crashed when I was loading photos on a cd.  Since then every disc I put in - music, software, data are not recognized, it turns but no program starts automatically.  If I go in via Explore and click the drive the disc turns, then I get the message "Please put in a disc.  Any help gratefully received

    Hello

Please make all below even if you have done some before as it is often the set of operations which solves
    the question.

    Try this - Panel - Device Manager - CD/DVD - double-click on the device - driver tab - click
Update the drivers (this will probably do nothing) - then RIGHT click the drive - UNINSTALL - REBOOT
This will refresh the default driver stack. Even if the reader does not appear to continue below.

Then, work your way through these - don't forget the drive might be bad, could be a loose cable or
slight corrosion on the contacts (usually for a laptop) and other issues.

Another possibility is that the cables are loose. Remove ALL power, then make sure that the cables in both

contacts data with a pencil eraser.

Some DVD players do not use the Windows default drivers so check with the manufacturer of system and
manufacturer of device to see if there is a firmware or drivers for your drive if necessary.

  • DVD Sony player appears installed but does not recognize any CD or DVD

I just bought a Sony Optiarc AD7260 DVD RW drive and installed in my system. I am running Win XP Pro sp3. My Bios says the drive is recognized by the latter and in the Device Manager in Windows, the drive shows up and says that "this device works properly." However, any disk I put in the drive (self burned cd / self burned dvd / retail music cd / dvd retail game / virgins DVD) never presents itself as being accessible. When the drawer goes in, I get the icon of the cd spinning for about 15-30 seconds, but then it goes back to the usual pointer. If I try to access the drive in Windows Explorer or any other program, it does not appear. I tried to use ImgBurn to get media info I had placed in the drive (blanks & with data) but it still says "incompatible medium installed" in the drive. The Optiarc is my 4th Sata device, 3 others are hard drives. The system is a dc7100 HP Compaq with 3 GB of ram. Any suggestions?

    Hello.

Do you have the old disk, or access to another drive, try in the computer?  If these work then you will have a faulty drive.  It is possible to have a defective out of the box.  Also try a different SATA cable.  These can sometimes be problematic.

  • Why google does not recognize any of the keywords that I put in my page properties?

In my site built in Muse, I put all the relevant keywords in properties on each page and when I checked the keywords in Google Webmaster tools none of them words are supported. What I am doing wrong?

    Hello

Some keywords are very competitive. Make sure you check the competition for the search term that you want to classify. In addition, you must check the sites Web which are located upstairs for that keyword. Analyze, observe their optimization tips and try to use these techniques in your optimization process.

Also, do not rely on keywords or not to optimize your website for keywords, optimizing for users and it will automatically be a higher rank in the search engine results Page (SERP). Also take a look at the official Google blog, which says, is no longer the key words are

  • Port replicator does not work with Satellite P100-160 & Vista

I just bought a Toshiba duplicator (part number: PX1173U-1PRP) but it does not work with the o/s Vista pre-installed on my P100-160. Can someone tell me where to find the Vista drivers for this device?

It seems that the standard driver is not compatible with Vista and so you will need a new from the Toshiba page.
You must remove the old driver and then install the new version.

    Good luck

My laptop has a webcam, but Skype says that he does not have a webcam. It is disabled, and if so, how to enable it?

    Hello

    Close all programs and Skype.

Double-click Control Panel / Device Manager - Imaging - writing down of the brand and model of camera.
on this subject and on the tab of the driver is version. Now, click on update drivers (who are unable to do anything as MS
is far behind the pilots of certification). RIGHT click on the camera - UNINSTALL - REBOOT - it
    will update the driver stack.

Now, go to the system manufacturer's website and download the latest driver for the camera and the other related camera
software (if not more recent get the same).

Just you'd go to Toshiba Support and get the driver for your model laptop.

  • Equium L10 does not recognize any PCMCIA wireless card I install

    Hello

I just bought a brand new Toshiba Equium L10 and I can't get any wireless card to install. I tried different models of Belkin, Netgear and MSI, which works perfectly well on other laptops, but not on this one.

The L10 is a clean build of Windows XP SP2 directly from the retailer and I am using the following steps to install the wireless network card:

    1. start Windows XP SP2 and log in as administrator
    2. run the software for the wireless card
    3. Insert the wireless card

At this point, windows only recognizes the card as an ethernet adapter wireless and will not install the drivers. Even if I manually install and specifically point to the correct directory, it fails to pick up the pilots still and says that there is nothing in the directory for the material that I install.

I have the latest version of the BIOS for the L10 and have tried all the following features without result:

    1. disable the legacy USB support in the BIOS
    2 disable built in ethernet
    3. run the Diagnostics of PC from Toshiba (reports that everything works just fine including PCMCIA)
4 rebuild provided using DVD from Toshiba laptop

Does anyone have an idea what could be wrong? It drives me crazy and I've never had this kind of problem with any other laptop. Is this a defect known with Toshiba laptops and what is the solution?
Is this a problem with Win XP SP2? Is my laptop defective?

    Thanks in advance.

    Kind regards

    K.

You can post the details of this card?
Have you contacted the manufacturing of PCMCIA card for support? Maybe there is a new version of driver for this card.

I've noticed some problems with Vodafone on a Satellite P10 PCMICA card. This card caused a blue screen on the unit. Well, the deactivation of the hyper-threading technology in BIOS has solved this problem. On other maps, the new version of driver also solved some strange problems.

However, what I would say it is there are a lot of things that could be a bad influence.

First of all I recommend you ask the card to support manufacturing.
