E5 - 511 problem with touchpad Acer.

Hello everyone. I have a problem with the touchpad when I slide my finger on it, pointer does not move smoothly, it is very laggy. When I connect to my mouse, it works fine and smooth. I tried to find solutions on here, but none of them worked. Any ideas? Operating system is Windows 8.1.

It solved! Found solution here, thanks for the suggestions. Win8 uninstalled and installed again with UEFI boot.

Guess - encryption levels are the same. E.g. is your set of router that you use WEP only but your PC configured to use WPA only? http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-HK/Windows7/set-up-a-security-key-for-a-wireless-network

If this is the case try to configure WPA2 or WPA rather than fall to WEP.

Check all the other related settings as well. knowledge is the router using MAC filtering, are there available IP address so that it can allocate? (some routers are possible to limit the amount of IP address, they can allocate at one time).

Second, if it does not remove the encryption all and see if it connects then. JUST AS a TEST, do not leave it.

  • Satellite Pro C660 - on and off the problem with Touchpad

    Hey guys,.

I had one on and out of the question with my touchpad at least a few months now. I tried to do the function + F9 thing with little effect. Also, I re-uploaded the synaptics driver, which seems to make it work for a little while but then it started working sporadically.

Currently my touchpad works from time to time, if it fails on the first pressing Ctrl Alt Del and then Esc seems to do the job for a little long but after that it just stops working. I am a student and not having is not a fully functional laptop is often a major obstacle if any help would be great.

    Hello

My first question is: When did you notice this problem from touchpad.

I mean, the Sat Pro C660 is a portable old and if this issue seemed to be in the first day of purchase, then something touched the touchpad feature in the past.

The question is: is at - it something wrong with the software or touchpad maybe module.
I think that can be answered only the settings of the notebook back to factory State.
If you are recovering the using laptop computer Toshiba recover disk, you will get exactly the same State as at the first day of the purchase.

If the touchpad would not always work properly, well there is some hardware problem

What is the problem? I don't understand...

    I thank.

Hmm when did you notice this problem?
Since the first day of purchase?

I'm not very well if it could be a software problem, but of course, you could try to update the driver for the touchpad to ensure that this problem related isn t touchpad driver m.

If the driver update help doesn t then a hardware problem may be possible
It is hard to say what role might be affected but a laptop computer technician could run tests and might be able to tell what's wrong.

  • Problem with my Acer Aspire 5552-5686 and 5.1 Audio HDMI

Hi all, I recently bought a SONY HT-SS380 Home Theatre, and I tried to connect it to my Acer Aspire 5552-5686 by HDMI port. (I have Windows 7).

My problem is that I have can´t set up the laptop to use more than 2 channels (stereo). I ve been looking around the internet and there seems to be a common problem with this computer, but I can´t understand why or how to fix it.

I ve tried to install the latest Realtek Audio drivers, the Catalyst Control Center, some Audio HDMI of ATI drivers. I Don t know what else to try!

    Any help?

    Thank you very much!

This isn't the audio chipset of this system, which I listed above.

The audio chipset to send the data in 5.1 surround.  The HDMI port would support, if it was sent.

It is not sent in this way, I listed above.

  • ENVY dv6-7320el: problems with touchpad

    Hello

I'm new here, so I don't know if this is the right place for this question, but here goes:

I had problems with my touchpad, precisely with the two-finger-roll. It would sometimes stop working, but then set a few minutes. Today that work completely collapsed. I have read suggestions on how to solve this problem, I tried the HARD RESET, it did not help, I tried to juggle synaptics in Panel, which did not help either. Now, I have managed to completely remove the synaptics and cannot install it back.

Can someone please help? The two-finger-roll was my main way of getting around, I feel so lost without her.

    model: dv6-7320el

    Thank you!

  • Satellite A500 - problem with Touchpad (or OS?)

    Hi all

I had my laptop on standby (Windows Media Center on the bottom) and when I opened the screen upward, the touchpad did not work, as follows:

    * On the desktop: the cursor is moved on the screen as usual tap or left click does nothing until you right-click, and then click product left/tap menu options (i.e. 'right click' normal function), right click then creates a "selection box" instead of raise of menu options, toolbar does not reveal of "" when the cursor is moved to that area the desktop icons "highlight" no selection when the cursor passes over them.

In programs: no buttons/links highlighted when hovered over (even the maximize/reduce/close buttons etc.), Windows button reveals the toolbar (not the start menu), Alt & Tab does not work to switch between screens.

Bar tools reveal (moving the cursor on board) and click right doesn't work at all, even when the touchpad seems to work fine otherwise.

Right-click seems actually trigger it, or cancel (but usual functions do a right click and reveal the toolbar still do not work). For example if I have Alt & Tab (functional at the moment!) at the library, I see the cursor like usual, but I need to right click to get it to be able to click left button; then, when I Alt & Tab to return to the screen, I need to right click again to get a left click to work (and then right-click right tricks it off once again, did NOT appear a menu options)...

The laptop is less than a month and I have had no other issues so far. Running Windows 7. Tried to restart, touchpad turning on / off power etc. I thought that it was originally a touchpad problem, but with the Windows key does not open the start menu, I was wondering if it was a problem of OS...

Very confusing - I hope that all makes sense. Thanks in advance to anyone who knows what could happen here! See you soon.

EDIT: I also tried to enter in the mouse properties and update the settings of the device for each button/tap (they were all correct though). It didn't work, and I noticed that the only thing that will allow the buttons to work on each screen is to right click, which seems to enable the touchpad, but then as mentioned above, when I right click again, it just turns off. I need to be able to use option etc. menus popping up with a right-click...

    Hello

I think that you can easily locate the reason for this problem: you only need an external mouse. They are very good markets nowadays and if it works properly it s is not a problem of your operating system. In the worst cases, this means that the touch pad has to be exchanged but as a result, you can contact an authorized service provider. They can order a new and exchange it, this should be covered by the warranty if your mobile phone is only a month.

In addition before contacting an ASP you could try updating the driver for the touchpad. You can get it here:

  • Satellite C70 - A - 14 M - stange problem with touchpad

    Hello

    I'm having a problem of stange with the keyboard of my Toshiba Satellite C70 - A - 14 M.
After a few seconds the start menu/desktop automatically load up, the functionality of the touchpad goes in the normal cursor to free movement only by selecting the different bars of tiles/menu etc that are accessible to the screen.

The cursor freezes, but the buttons and the touchpad still works, but they are no longer able to switch between the different objects on the screen that are likely to be chosen, significantly reducing the functionality of the laptop.

I tried the usual thing of to turn my laptop and the new, with no result.
The laptop is about two months, so there is no new device driver touchpad I can pass, and I can't UN - or reinstall the existing one.

I have not yet tried a system restore, because I don't want to lose the programs I downloaded and go through the hassle of re - install unless there is no other choice.

So, what should I do then? Any help and advice would be much appreciated!

    Hello

I guess that you describe the function of the gesture (modern touch pad)

I think you should check this document / solution how to change some parameters of the Synaptic touchpad.

[How do I change the settings of the Synaptic touchpad in Windows 8? | http://APS2.Toshiba-tro.de/KB0/HTD3101Z30000R01.htm]

I guess that it you would find the settings to enable or disable the functionality of gesture.

I tried every fix I can find on the internet, can not find one that works.  Even several different drivers.

  • Problem with TouchPad-Help!

I have a new Toshiba Sattelite with Windows 7.  All of a sudden my touchpad has stopped working.  I went to the device in my control panel and it says that the device is functioning properly.  Anyone have any ideas on how to solve this problem?  I have a USB mouse that works very well.

    Thank you!

    Hello

Toshiba has also map of keys which allow easy adjustment of the TouchPad. See support for Toshiba
and Forums. The key shortcut for the TouchPad, if they are responsible in the Fn + F9 or see the key card
So usually loaded at the top of the screen.

There is also usually a TouchPad control utility that loads in the Notification area next to the clock
    at the bottom right.

Toshiba support - click Communcate for links to the Forums and Contact Toshiba.
    http://www.CSD.Toshiba.com/cgi-bin/TAIS/support/JSP/home.jsp

Toshiba downloads - access your model.
    http://www.CSD.Toshiba.com/cgi-bin/TAIS/support/JSP/home.jsp?NAV=download

Toshiba forums - good source of info from others who have the same system or similar
    http://laptopforums.Toshiba.com/

Check with the manufacturer of system support, documentation in line, or forums as there probably
are shortcut keys that enable and disable the touchpad functions.

Also check the control - Mouse - touchpad settings panel.

    You can also try this:

Panel of configuration manager devices - mouse and pointing devices - Double click on the touch pad-
The driver tab - click on Update Driver (which is may not make anything like MS is far behind certifying)
(drivers), now right CLICK on the touchpad and UNINSTALL.

Then go to the USB and UNINSTALL ALL controllers except the category itself (all in).
    RESET

This will refresh the driver for the TouchPad and battery USB. This does not prevent the touchpad
    of work.

Here is the similar procedure in XP, Vista is the same, except that we need to clear the specific
    device if present.
    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/310575

Then go to the website of the manufacturer of system (Toshiba downloads - access your model - listed above)
and get the latest touchpad drivers.

Download - SAVE - go to where you put it-click on - RUN AS ADMIN.

    I hope this helps.

  • Strange problem with touchpad on Satellite L500-19Z

I have an older one month by Satellite L500-19Z running on Windows 7 64 bit.
While using it to edit photos, he began to behave strangely. It was as if someone was quickly down the left button of the mouse. I have been unable to leave any program or use the Start Menu to restart.

After turning off the power supply and the battery, I started it in Mode without failure, but the problem was still there. If I flew over any icon that he raised the window several times. By disabling the touchpad through Fn + F9, I was able to use a graphics tablet to re - start and it works normally. I hesitate to use the recovery of the system or the recovery disks that I created when I bought it because of the number of third party programs that I would lose.

Everyone knows the problem please? What should I do to activate the touchpad see if it works fine now?
    Thank you very much

    Hello

Can you turn the touchpad by pressing FN + F9 as usual?

In your case I would also update the driver for the touchpad. You can download it here:
    http://EU.computers.Toshiba-Europe.com-online decision-making supported Downloads & => Download drivers

If an external mouse works but the touchpad is still problems, I think that you need to use the Toshiba Recovery disk to restore to factory settings. After that, you have the same settings as on the first day where you bought the laptop.

  • Technical problems with my Acer :-(

My Aspire M5 - 581T with Intel Core i5-331U @ 1.70 GHz & RAM 6.0 GB, 64-bit, is having some MAJOR PROBLEMS? I just bought the computer in 2012, and I've been VERY happy with it, but now I have problems. The computer turns off when pushed even if it is on? If you are working on something, you lose everything that was not justified when it stops, I also have problems it is turn on and sometimes it takes 5 or 6 attempts? Also, when I get to start my WIFI is not often connected and I need to restart the computer to log in again. Help! Someone of you have similar problems and if you were able to fix the problem.

When you move your computer connected to your power adapter? The computer is running on battery alone?

The internal battery is equipped with a safety device to cut the power at the opening of the envelope of the ultrabook. However, if some of the screws are loose, it can trigger this precaution by mistake. If you encounter this problem, try to tighten the screws on the bottom of the laptop.

If the problem persists, then you may have another problem and recommend to contact technical support in your region.

Regarding your concern about Wifi, it may be a software conflict and recommend updating the driver, then forget your network. After having erased the your system network, re-scan and configure your network again. If this fails, try a factory restore as there may be a software conflict.

  • Problem with my acer aspire 5750G

    Hello, good afternoon.

My problem is that when you turn on the laptop. My monitor shows no sign or there is activity on the hard disk.

I tried to remove the ram, HDD, the bios battery, connect it to an hdmi TV and still no sign of life.

I think it's maybe corrupt bios. ¿Steps? Suggestions? help please!

Sorry for my English (google translate)

    Thank you!

From your first post, I thought you said when you tried to turn it on nothing happened.

If it stays on when the memory is removed, but stop with installed, you may have a bad memory dimm. If you have 2 DIMM, try to start with one, then the other.
