  • HP Pavilion Notebook 15-p050ca: graphics driver error message started after the upgrade of Windows 10 model installed on #: G6U13UA #ABL

I have recently upgraded to Windows 10 and since then, I received the following message through a game: "display Intel HD Graphics driver Driver for Windows 8 (R) stopped responding and has successfully recovered."

I checked my graphics driver and it says that it is up-to-date.  I tried installing the latest drivers for my laptop model (according to the HP drivers page), December 15, 2015, installed without a problem, but no version has not fixed the problem.  An error message appears when I try to install the March and April, 2016 versions of graphics drivers, claiming that they are not compatible with my computer.

I also tried the Intel and HP driver update utility and told me that my drivers are up to date.  However, when I look at the properties of my Intel(r) HD Graphics Family in Device Manager, I noticed that information on the events tab says: "peripheral PCI VEN_8086 & DEV_0A16 & SUBSYS_227E103C & REV_0B\3 & 11583659 & 1 & 10 still requires the installation."

I don't know what needs update on my computer or if this driver is incompatible with Windows 10 and there is not yet an upgrade?  Advice or opinions would be appreciated!

My computer model is the 15-p050ca HP Pavilion Notebook PC (ENERGY STAR) model #: G6U13UA #ABL and the graphics driver is version #: 10.18.15.4279

I went back to 8.1 for Windows and ran the store several times and then reinstalled Windows 10.

I watched the graphic version installed and version 20.19.15.4331 dated dated 18 November 2015, but he still claimed there was an update of the graphics driver.  I tried the update and it was version 10.18.15.4279 dated August 2015, which was the same version that was installed when I had problems (and the same version on the HP website), then I went back to the 20.19.15.4331 version.

I tried all the graphics drivers listed for my computer on the HP support page and again, I had the same problems with them as I had before (either claim that my computer has no minimum requirements or my graphics driver crashing).

With the current version (20.19.15.4331), my graphics driver has stopped at least for now crashing, but I assume that this is not a specific driver HP and is only based Intel?  If so, I recommend HP glance on the issue, I've had if they claim that these drivers are supposed to work for my computer when my computer is, in fact, not accept them.

It is probably malware. Let us know the results of the Malwarebytes scan and we can go from there. These errors appear generally, after the malicious software was detected and removed for the most part, but remains were left. The error basically means boot entry in your registry is looking for malicious software components, but is unable to locate them accordingly, as shown, the malware has, essentially, been removed.

I don't ' know what to do at this point.  HP phone support seems unable to solve my problem.  Can someone help me?

    Hi DP - K,.

Thank you for all the helpful tips.  This weekend when I saw my McAFee scan/security reports, even if the McAfee Security Center shows that viruses and spyware works, he did not run a weekly full scan on my laptop since the end of January.  I don't know if he tried to scan and then breaks down, or it will not start.  When I tried to run a manual scan, windows shut down and I got a blue screen error message after about 5 hours of scanning - 63% digital.  When I ran the HP System Diagnostics report, it showed that my Security Center has not recorded an antivirus product.  "The Security Center cannot identify a current antivirus application.  There is no product protection antivirus installed or it is not recognized. "When I ran the HP reliability and history of problem report, it showed that my error messages started on 01/02/11, which is what I remembered.  I was able to restore my laptop to 23/01/11 when I had no problems and then, I uninstalled McAfee security and re-installed software.  I manually ran a full scan and it took 5 hours to complete, it has completed and reported no problems.  I look today and so far, no problem.  If the problem happens again, I will try the suggestion of Avast below.   Thanks again for all your great suggestions.

  • 0x80016ba error message

I have vista 32 bit with the Defender built in.  I don't know when the error message started because I immediately added suites mcafee, I am also a subscriber of 3 years.   0x80016ba continuelly error MESSAGE is displayed at the start of vista.  I was unable to click the Defender to open it.  I tried to locate the defender in programs and features, as I have been loaded on the page official windows defender, but there is no icon for it.  Then I went to windows Security Center on my pc.  All security features have green on the buttons.  I opened the malicious program button, mcafee was on but defender was off.  I turned on Defender.  It seemed that th problem has been solved, software Defender begins to open.
But, after that I restarted the pc, what is the error message appeared and windows defender to stop opening.  I returned to the Security Center windows on my pc and clicked on the button of malware and defender was off.  I think that you will have to repeat this every time that you start the pc, if it is important for you, or until the issue is resolved.

    Hello 1stmorpheus,

Thanks for posting on the Microsoft answers Community Forum.

I've split your question where you have published to assure you that your question was seen and respond as quickly as possible.

First, check to make sure that the Windows Defender service is started and the status is set to automatic. To do this:

Click Start and type "services.msc", then the .
If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation, then click on continue.
Scroll down the list of services of Windows Defender and click, and then on the link to the left to start or restart the service if it is stopped.

Right click on computer > manage > click Services in the left pane.

Look for Windows Defender on the right and double-click it.

The startup type should be automatic.

Then use the following article to check that Windows defenders definitions are up-to-date.

  • BTTray.exe, error to start the Application.

Remember - this is a public forum so never post private information such as numbers of mail or telephone!

Ideas:BTTray.exe, error to start the Application.

    • Programs that you have problems with the Bluetooth does not work overwhelming
    • BTTray.exe, Application error messages start error.
    • Recent changes made to your computer: just updated to windows update
    • What have you tried to solve the problem, I tried to look at Windows Update and also send mail to Microsoft

Read the following article to see if it helps to solve the problem: http://support.dell.com/support/topics/global.aspx/support/dsn/en/document?c=us&dl=false&l=en&s=gen&docid=6CF68D431EAAB41BE040AE0AB6E16686&doclang=en.

Are you still using the BTTray?  If this isn't the case, we can solve the problem in a more easy way.

Go tohttp://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/bb963902.aspx and run Autoruns and click all.  Search bttray.exe or mfc80.dll and when you find it uncheck the box to prevent it from start to start.  Check the entire list as there may be several entries.  When you're done, click OK and restart.   The message should be gone.

If this does not work, try a boot minimum http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929135.  If the problem goes away then it's just a matter of tracking down the culprit at the origin of the problem.   Follow the procedures described in the article.  Once found, remove, delete, disable or uninstall.  Once remember to put Vista in normal status, as described in the procedures. If the problem occurs in clean mode then just restore the system to normal and reboot - this solution will not work.

    I hope this helps.

    Good luck!
